Michael Smith- I just saw an X post from earlier today where Team Musk has identified 513 billion dollars in money that is still going to programs that have expired (one expired 40 years ago) or lack Congressional authorization.

Congress is asleep at the switch and has been for years.- I noted the other day that there are seven gates that approvals and reviews are alleged to pass through on the way to Treasury cutting a check - including an office of Inspectors General at each agency and none of them have identified anything like what Team Muskrat have found in two weeks - and they have been there for decades...

Congress, in my opinion, is half-filled with functional, devious idiots that found out accountability isn't a requirement to be in Congress. It's time that's changed, but I have little faith many of the half-functional idiot constituents have a clue and will do something about it.
