Border Czar Tom Homan tipped that the National Guard deployment was coming, after two days of violence in the Los Angeles area.

• Over that time, the federal detention facility was attacked with rioters hurling things at agents and damaging property. 
• They went without help from local law enforcement for two hours, the DHS said. 
• Then on Saturday there was more violence and chaos, as rioters tried to obstruct law enforcement actions, assaulted agents, and tried to block their vehicles...
• Now comes the official statement from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, confirming the action.
