Grassley sent a letter to Barr on April 25 inquiring whether the Justice Department is investigating leaks to the media regarding several stories involving the Russia investigation. Grassley noted a leak to The Washington Post on April 11, 2017, regarding the existence of a classified surveillance warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Barr did not identify which leaks are being investigated.
“We have multiple criminal leak investigations underway,” Barr told Grassley.
NPR/Ipsos conducted a national poll recently and found that more than 8 in 10 teachers — and a similar majority of parents — support teaching kids about climate change. But in reality, it’s not always happening: Fewer than half of K-12 teachers told us that they talk about climate change with their children or students. Again, parents were about the same. The top reason that teachers gave in our poll for not covering climate change? “It’s not related to the subjects I teach,” 65% said.[…]That raises the question: Where does climate change belong in the curriculum, anyway?...
NPR = Nitwit Pinko Radio
Nothing on that list of 8 idiotic “ways to teach climate change” is even remotely related to climate science…
55% of the teachers surveyed said they did not teach about climate change in their classrooms. 65% replied that it wasn’t related to the subject(s) they taught and 17% said the didn’t know enough about climate change to teach it…
My hunch is that 97% of teachers, including the 45% who “teach” about it, are insufficiently familiar with the science to teach it.
Instead of having English teachers focusing on climate change, maybe they should just teach English…
But then again, you can get, like, an Ivy League degree in, like, economics, you know, like by speaking this way. You can even, like, get elected to Congress, like you know, whatever…
"...Metro Detroiters, on average, are paying more for health insurance each month than 24 other top metros, according to a new report by doxo, a bill pay service, that looked at the 2018 costs of the country's nine most commonly paid bills.

Attorney General Bill Barr Says He Won’t Stop Using The Word ‘Spying’ | The Daily Caller:
Barr continued, “I think spying is a good English word that, in fact, doesn’t have synonyms because it is the broadest word incorporating really all forms of covert intelligence collection, so I’m not going to back off the word ‘spying.'”
To further defend his use of the word, Barr pointed out that many members of the media also used the term before they decided to attack him for doing the same.
“Frankly, we went back and looked at press usage and up until all the faux outrage a couple of weeks ago, it’s commonly used in the press to refer to authorized activities,” he explained.
Don’t be fooled by Bernie Sanders — he’s a diehard communist "As polls tighten and self-described socialist Bernie Sanders looks more like a serious contender than a novelty candidate for president, the liberal media elite have suddenly stopped calling him socialist. He’s now cleaned up as a “progressive” or “pragmatist.” But he’s not even a socialist. He’s a communist. Mainstreaming Sanders requires whitewashing his radical pro-communist past. It won’t be easy to do. If Sanders were vying for a Cabinet post, he’d never pass an FBI background check. There’d be too many subversive red flags popping up in his file. He was a communist collaborator during the height of the Cold War. Rewind to 1964.
While attending the University of Chicago, Sanders joined the Young People’s Socialist League, the youth wing of the Socialist Party USA.
He also organized for a communist front, the United Packinghouse Workers Union, which at the time was under investigation by the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
After graduating with a political science degree, Sanders moved to Vermont, where he headed the American People’s History Society, an organ for Marxist propaganda.
There, he produced a glowing documentary on the life of socialist revolutionary Eugene Debs, who was jailed for espionage during the Red Scare and hailed by the Bolsheviks as “America’s greatest Marxist.”...
China is doing more to green the earth, and eliminate global energy poverty, than any other government. China is building or planning more than 300 coal plants in places as widely spread as Turkey, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt and the Philippines. “When you put money down and put steel into the ground for a coal-fired power plant it’s a 40- or 50-year commitment.”
China is building or planning more than 300 coal plants in places as widely spread as Turkey, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt and the Philippines. China, known as the world’s biggest polluter, has been taking dramatic steps to clean up and fight climate change. So why is it also building hun...
Joe Biden On Anita Hill In 1998: 'She Was Lying':
But in 1998, Biden admitted to Specter that “It was clear to me from the way she was answering the questions, [Hill] was lying” about a key part of her testimony. The exchange was published in Specter’s 2000 memoir, “Passion for Truth: From Finding JFK’s Single Bullet to Questioning Anita Hill to Impeaching Clinton.”
The issue is important, as the media and other partisans rewrite the historical record about Hill and her accusations.
...In recent months, climate preachers have garnered immense publicity. Greta Thunberg, a mentally disabled child from an extraordinarily dysfunctional family, has been telling us we’re out of time. The end is nigh. If we don’t heed her warning we’ll be punished for our environmental sins.
Rather than comforting this disturbed child, rather than urging this family to get its own house in order before it scolds the rest of us, journalists, politicians, religious leaders, and activists have instead made Greta famous.
This is madness. We’re now taking moral instruction from a household in which children decide to starve themselves for months, in which adults are told they’re not permitted to go to the toilet.
Today's Greens Are Yesterday's Reds | RealClearPolitics "New York Mayor Bill de Blasio made national headlines last week with his call to ban “traditional glass and steel skyscrapers” in the name of the environment. ...This remark from our self-described socialist reveals in plain language a sobering truth. Today’s greens are yesterday’s reds. ...What should be alarming is how this new war on prosperity, or to use the mayor's disparaging spin, this attack on “monuments to wealth,” is being launched in the name of the environment..."
