Tucker Carlson And Neil Patel: Understanding Democrats’ March Toward Electoral Defeat | The Daily Caller

Tucker Carlson And Neil Patel: Understanding Democrats’ March Toward Electoral Defeat | The Daily Caller:

The entire impeachment saga has become detached from reality. Here are the facts: Democrats do not have the votes to remove Trump from office. They never will have the votes to remove the president. The point of impeachment is to remove a president. They cannot do that. This process is doomed. By the way, they don’t have the votes because voters don’t support it. The irony is that our democracy is working just fine. Voters support it. After a full month of watching public hearings on impeachment, Democrats have not gained support. They have lost it.

We gave our rulers the greatest gift that we can give - Fabius Maximus website
"Summary: We gave our elites the greatest gift that America can give.
Understanding this, we can make a powerful resolution for the New Year – and change the course of history.
The difference between ordinary epidemics and horrific pandemics is in their frequency, duration, and size.
This applies to social ills as well as diseases.
For example, America has been wracked for generations by an extraordinary series of moral panics.
These are an ordinary illness of societies...
...America has an amazing number of moral panics of extreme size and duration.
See the source imageIn the 1980s and 1990s we had the Satanic Abuse hysteria and Day Care Child Abuse hysteria
Both were huge and long.
These put people in jail after trials that made those of the Salem witches look like models of rationality (they also helped make Janet Reno Attorney General of the USA).
...Now we are in the midst of two moral panics that made those before look penny-ante: RussiaGate and the Climate Emergency.
Although neither has much factual foundation, both continue to burn today, with no end in sight.
...While causes are useful to know, only results matter.
These massive moral panics show that Americans are no longer capable of self-government.
We lack the rationality, balance, and self-discipline necessary for this most difficult and rare of tasks.
We have given our elites the greatest gift we can bestow: proof that we are unfit for democracy.
America is theirs now, until we prove that we can retake control of our affairs – and our destiny.
“Every nation has the government it deserves.”
— Dark words said by Joseph de Maistre (lawyer, diplomat, philosopher) in a letter dated 13 August 1811, published in Lettres et Opuscules.

Canada has a secret program that grants visas to war criminals, terrorists, security threats - National | Globalnews.ca

"...Canadian security officials deemed retired Brig.-Gen. Khaled Saber Abdelhamed Zahw “inadmissible” to Canada because of national security concerns.
An inadmissibility finding would keep most people out of Canada, but it didn’t stop Zahw and his wife from obtaining valid visitor visas from the Canadian embassy in Egypt in April 2015.
...This is because, according to internal government documents obtained by Global News, Canada has a secret program that allows certain “high-profile” foreign nationals who would otherwise be barred from entering the country due to national security concerns, war crimes, human rights violations and organized crime to be granted special “public policy” entry visas so long as it is in Canada’s “national interest.”
But exactly what “national interest” means in relation to this policy and how the government decides who gets this kind of visa is unclear.
That’s because there’s almost no information available about the program, and the government refuses to answer questions..."

Teaching Jihad in America-----VIDEO: Muslim kids in Philly chant 'we will chop off their heads' for Allah

VIDEO: Muslim kids in Philly chant 'we will chop off their heads' for Allah
"American Muslim children at one Pennsylvania school celebrated “Ummah Day” (Earth Day) with aspirations of jihad, and it was all caught on video.
The video features students at the Muslim American Society (MAS) Islamic Center in North Philadelphia during a performance on April 17 in which they called out nonbelievers and vowed to chop off their heads for Allah.
A young girl said, “We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will lead the army of Allah fulfilling His promise, and we will subject them to eternal torture.”

Details revealed in the Justice Department’s inspector general report raise immediate questions about disgraced ex-FBI Director James B. Comey’s repeated decision to push back against requests from President Donald Trump to investigate the origins of the infamous “pee” claim made inside the anti-Trump dossier.
The IG report relates that the FBI not only investigated those salacious claims but divined the origins of the outlandish charges, finding serious sourcing problems and poking major holes in the already wild and unsubstantiated storyline.

"The decade that blew up energy predictions.
Image result for prediction failIn 2010, the U.S. Energy Information Administration projected that in 2019, the U.S. would be producing about six million barrels of oil a day. The reality? We’re now producing 12 million barrels of oil a day.

Meanwhile, EIA projected oil prices would be more than $100 a barrel. They’re currently hovering around $60 a barrel....

...In 2010, EIA projected that the U.S. would be producing about 20 trillion cubic feet of natural gas by now. In 2018, the last full year of annual data, we produced more than 30 trillion....
Meanwhile greenhouse emissions, predicted to be up, are down. And all of this happened . . . wait for it, wait for it . . unexpectedly!--Posted by

Donald Trump Approval Rating Surpasses Barack Obama at Same Point in Presidency

Donald Trump Approval Rating Surpasses Barack Obama at Same Point in Presidency:

Image result for flickr commons images president trumpPresident Donald Trump’s approval rating has soared past that of ex-President Barack Obama’s at the same point in his administration, defying negative sterotypes driven by opponents as he became only the third president in U.S. history to be impeached.
Trump’s job approval rating 151 weeks into his presidency sits at 45 percent, as revealed by a Gallup poll last Wednesday. That puts Trump three points higher than the 42 percent approval rating Gallup found for Obama at the same point of his presidency.

On Ricky Gervais, J. K. Rowling, and Speaking Frankly

See the source imageOn Ricky Gervais, J. K. Rowling, and Speaking Frankly
"The comedian Ricky Gervais has committed heresy by mocking a modern (and very recent) orthodoxy of the right-thinking intellectual: that a man who takes hormones, has surgery, and behaves like a woman actually is a woman in all respects, no different from women born female.
In support of a statement by J. K. Rowling, the famous children’s author (and by no means social conservative), that a transgender woman is not a woman...
He wrote:
"These awful biological women can never understand what it must be like for you becoming a lovely lady so late in life. They take their girly privileges for granted. Winning at female sports and having their own toilets. Well, enough is enough."
As a result of this tweet, he has been widely condemned as being transphobic—a term implying an irrational fear but used to condemn a person for advocating or supporting bad, aggressive, or even violent conduct toward transsexuals...
This is clearly not the case.
Users of the term make no proper distinction between two questions: the nature of transsexuals and how people should behave toward them.
A question of truth—whether a transsexual woman is in no respect inherently different from a biological female—is transformed into a question of loyalty to a new doctrine, nonacceptance of which in its totality being taken by the right-thinking as a mark of bad or evil character and intent, such that he or she who fails to accept it should be excommunicated by all decent people, discriminated against, and denied employment..."

Scientists Skeptical of Anthropogenic Global Warming

A comment from are reader:
"The scam that never dies!
I have a PhD in Atmospheric Fluid Dynamics from McGill University.
I am getting increasingly frustrated by the lack of any actual science that backs up this “problem”.
So please answer the following simple, basic, scientific question:

  • What, exactly, is being "measured"?
  • And how accurate are those measurements, both now and over time?
  • And how do you know what the contribution of human activity is to whatever you are measuring?

I'll make it even easier for you.
Since AGW believers frequently bring up surface temperature, let's look at it.
After all, it's about the simplest thing involved, isn't it?
So show me a map of the earth's surface temperature, and a companion map of the margin of error.
Then do the same thing in (say) 1900.
If you prefer another atmospheric parameter than surface temperature, suggest it and provide reasons for your choice, and then answer the same questions.

  • Finally, tell me what part of the differences is due to human activity, how you know, and how accurately you know it.

Bet you can’t."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Monday blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) decision to withhold articles of impeachment.
McConnell told “Fox & Friends” that he finds it a “rather absurd position” and a “political exercise,” calling on the Democratic congressional leadership to treat President Donald Trump’s case just as they did former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

Michigan's version of MEDC-----Nashville In Receivership? Wait, How?

Nashville In Receivership? Wait, How?
"When newly elected Nashville Mayor John Cooper announced that Nashville was in receivership during a speech at David Lipscomb University on Dec. 10, it created shockwaves.
Wait, what!
You can’t be serious!
Image result for spending more than you earnThe Nashville Tennessean and other news outlets echoed calls for the Mayor’s office to issue a retraction.
Two days later, Metro Finance Director Kevin Crumbo announced that State Comptroller Justin Wilson had approved the city budget, thereby avoiding receivership.
How did one of the hottest cities in America get in this mess?
...Mayor Cooper talked to the Wall Street Journal about his mandate to pull the city’s economy back from the brink by (among other things) curbing financial incentives and relocation deals to corporations.
After the prior administration had awarded $167,000,000 in economic incentives in exchange for 13,000 new jobs and $1.2 billion in capital investments, the city could not balance the budget without selling assets like the Nashville Thermal Plant.
Which, IMHO, is like selling your living room furniture to pay your electric bill
...There are many reasons why the city ignored the realities of unsustainable growth.
For several years, revenues grew at 32% while expenses grew at 38%.
No one wanted to confront the reality of having to raise property taxes 16% to pay for the incentives that had been provided to companies like Amazon and Alliance Bernstein..."

Donald Trump's 'they're after you' tweet says it all: Goodwin
"On its face, a tweet President Trump sent last week is fairly benign.
It doesn’t mock anyone, isn’t personally nasty and hasn’t caused any hair-on-fire controversy.
Yet it is powerful in its own way, for it artfully sums up the Trump era from the perspective of the president and his supporters.
With a likeness to the Uncle Sam “I want you” poster, the disrupter-in-chief reaffirms in 14 words the belief of Trump Nation that the political establishment, the media, the permanent bureaucracy and yes, the deep state are trying to crush him and them.
...Critics regard it as fear-mongering, and there is no denying that the president wanted to rally his base, lest it be discouraged by the day’s events..."
