The White House on Tuesday announced it would immediately cancel a critical race theory training program by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“Glad to report, per the president’s directive, this training is being cancelled immediately,” White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought wrote on Twitter.

The creeping Dark Ages mentality that's already hard at work destroying the humanities, journalism, and entertainment media is all fun and games to the potential destruction of engineering, physics, and math.

"Michigan is launching a new campaign to encourage mask wearing using data from a July survey showing 72% of residents said they always wear a mask in public.
The campaign, called “Spread Hope, Not COVID,” includes TV and radio ads, billboards, social media videos and more to spread its message. 
The $5 million campaign is paid for by Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act funding from Congress.

There is no rational thought in a political cult.

"The new normal includes a significant amount of isolation. 
Sitting in front of a computer screen and having information delivered to you has the effect of reducing the experience of learning by doing, seeing, hearing, and sharing in person and on your own.
We continue that isolation in public by hiding our faces behind mandated mask wearing - it is amazing how much communication we get from facial expressions. 
While that is easy to recognize now, I must admit that took that part of being human completely for granted.
I have been observing how much less interaction there is between masked people in public settings and the increased difficulty in communicating with people when they cannot see your face. 
Are they happy? 
Angry? 
Sad? 
Who knows? 
And the way people shy away from each other is just creepy. 
It is less pronounced now than a few months ago but there still is the casual turn of a shoulder or twist of the head to look away – the subliminal message is “Go away. Leave me alone.”
What is remarkable is how easily we accepted this massive societal change.
Makes one wonder what else we will accept.
As Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit fame noted, “They will make us all beggars, because beggars are easier to please.”
It appears to me that the American public is being given small doses of tyranny so that we will not notice until we are completely hooked.
It is a simple fact that when you are addicted, your addiction and your dealer control your life."
