California Bill Would Extend 'Obamacare' To Illegal Immigrants

California Bill Would Extend 'Obamacare' To Illegal Immigrants:
"Via Talking Points Memo:
A California bill would extend health coverage to undocumented immigrants, using an Obamacare-style program to assist those left uncovered by the health care reform law.
Kaiser Health News reported that the legislation, introduced by state Sen. Ricardo Lara, a Democrat, would use state dollars to pay for Medicaid coverage for low-income residents who are in the state illegally.
No federal funding would be used.
It would also establish an online marketplace where undocumented immigrants with higher incomes could buy private insurance.
Up to 2.6 million undocumented immigrants live in California, where they can currently receive emergency medical care and pregnancy care.
About 1 million of them are estimated to be uninsured, according to KHN.
What do you think of the idea of giving free health care benefits to illegal aliens?"

Blondie Bennett, Barbie-Obsessed Woman, Uses Hypnotherapy To Make Herself ‘Brainless’

article imageA California woman who is obsessed with Barbie says she has one goal in life.
“I just want to be the ultimate Barbie. I actually want to be brainless,” Blondie Bennett, 38, told Barcroft TV. “I don’t like being human, if that makes sense… Natural is boring… I would love to be like, completely plastic.
She is so serious about her goal that she uses hypnotherapy sessions in order to decrease her IQ.
“I’ve had 20 sessions and I’m already starting to feel ditzy and confused all the time,” Bennett told the Daily Mail.
She is undergoing the sessions two to three times a week.
“Recently I went to pick a friend up at the airport and couldn’t remember if I needed to go to departures or arrivals. I also got lost for three hours driving to my mum’s house – the house where I grew up.”
Bennett already has had five breast augmentations costing more than $41,000 and plastic surgery in order to become the “ultimate Barbie.” Although her family and friends don’t approve, it hasn’t stopped her from chasing what she thinks is the perfect life.
“When people ask why I want to be Barbie I think ‘who wouldn’t want to be?’” she told the Daily Mail. “She has the best life. All she does is shop and make herself look pretty – she doesn’t worry about anything.”
Bennett is currently unemployed but makes money from men who pay her in exchange for pictures of her dressed up as Barbie.

Universities in FCC Newsroom Probe Have Close Ties to Soros, Got $1.8M in Funding

Universities in FCC Newsroom Probe Have Close Ties to Soros, Got $1.8M in Funding | CNS News:
"The FCC may have suspended its invasion into American newsrooms, but the controversial "Critical Information Needs" study also has George Soros' fingerprints all over it.

While disturbing, this should come as no surprise since Soros' gave more than $52 million to media organizations from 2000-2010.

Two schools were working with FCC on the project, according to Byron York of The Washington Examiner. The University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Communication and Democracy, were tasked by the FCC with coming up with criteria for what information is "critical" for Americans to have. The FCC study would have covered newspapers, websites, radio and television, according to The Washington Post.

On top of the 1st Amendment problems with this proposal, the schools involved have strong ties to liberal billionaire George Soros' Open Society Foundations and have gotten more than $1.8 million from since 2000"

Election officials ejected a Texas man from a voting booth because he was wearing a Second Amendment t-shirt.
Chris Driskill was prevented from voting at the Waller County Courthouse on Tuesday after officials claimed he was violating Texas Election Code section 85.036, which states that “a person may not electioneer for or against any candidate, measure, or political party” in or within 100 feet of a voting location.
“I heard a gentleman’s voice over my shoulder say ‘he can’t vote with that shirt on. You’ll have to either turn it inside out our you’ll have to leave,’” Driskill told KVUE.
The officials used the election law to throw Driskill out of the voting booth even though the shirt simply stated “Second Amendment – 1789 – America’s Original Homeland Security” on the front without any mention of a political candidate or proposition.

"The officers chased the woman down and grabbed her arm from behind. Not knowing what was happening, the woman pulled away from the officer. This meant that she was resisting, and the woman soon found herself sitting on the ground in handcuffs.

Local man Chris Quintero watched the incident from a coffee ship window, and was irritated by the police officers’ behavior. He snapped a picture of the woman during her arrest.

“I was annoyed that the cops were kind of just hanging out on the corner giving citation after citation,” said Quintero in an interview with My Fox Austin. “She grabbed his arm and she shook him off.”

Quintero said it was clear that the woman couldn’t hear the officers, and didn’t mean to disobey the police."

It is very dangerous to have ignorant people believing that they know something!"

GM Promotes Gay Rights as Company-Wide Problems Mount

GM Promotes Gay Rights as Company-Wide Problems Mount | National Legal and Policy Center:

General Motors continues to find innovative ways to make political points while losing market value. The company continues its heavy ad spending, this time at the Olympics. The marketing wizards at GM are trying to tap into theLGBT consumer market, which equals approximately 3.5% of the total population. At the same time, GM shares are getting hit once again as higher inventory levels are leading to heavy discounting. The company still looks a lot like Government Motors.
.....GM seems determined to impress its political masters in Washington, rather than investors. If that is not the case, GM shareholders should be even more worried about management credibility as the company continues to focus on all the wrong things
I doubt that heterosexual, tax-paying, truck buying males — GM's most important consumers — are going to be swayed by GM's gay Olympics ads. Nor does the company's reliance on tax subsidies to promote the pseudo-green Chevy Volt make them any points.

UC Berkeley Liberals Expose Elementary Kids to Giant Penis and ‘Pin-The-Tail on the Anus’ Game

As debates continue on whose job it is to educate children and teens about sex- the parents or schools- University of California Berkeley, a liberal haven of radical social agendas, gave young elementary school children quite an “education” as they filed past a man in a giant penis costume who was handing out condoms and were exposed to other school-sponsored sex games such as “pin-the-tail on the anus.”

According to Campus Reform:Berkeley
A group of elementary and middle school students touring University of California – Berkeley last week were exposed to a man in a giant penis costume and school-sponsored sex games.
“All day long, little kids were prancing by the dental dam demonstrations, sex-themed games of chance, and the guy in the penis suit,” student Claire Chiara said in an interview with Campus Reform Thursday.
The children were led through the campus quad while Berkeley students were playing “pin-the-tail on the anus” and tossing condoms through holes on a poster board meant to represent vaginas and anuses.
There was also a man dressed as a giant penis handing out condoms, although he was not permitted to hand them to the children.
The events were not spontaneous but pre-planned as part of the school’s celebration of National Condom Week.
“Every day of the week, we have kids aged 6-18 touring our school, which is fantastic — but not during the National Condom Week,” Chiara said. “It was poor planning on the part of the Tang Center to put up the Sex Ed tent in front of Sproul Hall, as that is the most popular spot on campus for tour groups to stop.”

25 Charged in Largest Medicaid Fraud Bust in D.C. History

25 Charged in Largest Medicaid Fraud Bust in D.C. History « CBS DC:
"WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Federal authorities say 25 people have been charged in a wide-ranging scheme to obtain millions of dollars in fraudulent Medicaid payments from the District of Columbia government.
U.S. Attorney Ronald Machen calls it the largest health-care fraud case in the city’s history.
It involved bogus claims for home care services, a category of Medicaid claim that has grown dramatically in the city over the past eight years.
Machen says fraud is largely responsible for the increase in those claims.
The uptick in billings for home care — from $40 million in 2006 to $280 million last year — was part of what tipped off authorities to illegal activity, U.S. Attorney Ronald Machen said."
