Do we actually have to lose everything, our country and our freedoms before we realize we were an exceptional people?  We have been the EXCEPTION to the rule, unique among nations, because we are free. 

It is absolutely astonishing, mind-blowing, pure insanity that we have a government funding our enemy. Fourteen years ago the United States was attacked by those who adhere to radical Islamic beliefs.  They hate America and the Western way of life.  Instead of tightening our security our government has lowered our defenses.  We are much more vulnerable today than we were before we were attacked. 

Our government spends its time harassing innocent Americans while ignoring the real threat due to unprotected borders.  Our homeland should have state of the art security at every possible entry.  Instead, we have wide open land.  We unnecessarily worry about anniversary attacks and jihadist attacks within our borders.    

Our government; the people we elect to protect us and our interests, at home and abroad, are betraying us. Our government is doing everything possible to fund our enemy while convincing the population that it’s all good.  We are not privy to what is in this disastrous nuclear agreement with Iran.  It’s another ‘pass the bill so we can find out what’s in it’ ploy. 

Honestly, we fell for their smoke and mirrors on health care and have witnessed the disastrous results of blindly following the Wizard of D.C...

The Office of Personnel Management announced Wednesday that 5.6 million people are now estimated to have had their fingerprint information stolen.

That number was originally thought to be about 1.1 million, OPM said in a statement. About 21.5 million individuals had their Social Security Numbers and other sensitive information affected by the hack.

Over the weekend, Secretary of State John Kerry reiterated the Obama administration’s commitment to taking in 10,000 Syrian refugees over the next fiscal year and announced that the federal government would be increasing its annual total refugee cap from 70,000 to 100,000 by 2017, to accommodate more refugees from war-torn Syria.
“This step that I am announcing today, I believe, is in keeping with the best tradition of America as a land of second chances and a beacon of hope,” said Kerry on Sunday during a trip to Germany.
Also on Sunday, Hillary Clinton called on the administration to take 65,000 Syrian refugees, declaring, “I want the United States to lead the world.” 
Her Democratic opponent Martin O’Malley endorsed the same target earlier this month.
Some 4 million persons have fled the Syrian civil war, and another 7 million are internally displaced. The plight of these persons is tragic.
But Americans should not confuse “leading the world” with a reflexive openness to the world’s heavy-laden.
The Obama administration should not receive a single Syrian refugee unless it is able to answer adequately the following five questions.
1. Can we distinguish between genuine refugees and economic migrants?"

This was President Obama’s knee-jerk reaction to an incident in which 14 year-old Ahmed Mohamed brought a clock mechanism to school that he claimed to have put together at home, but found himself briefly in trouble with the law because the mechanism looked something like a timing device for a bomb.
“We should inspire more kids like you to like science; it’s what makes America great,” our commentator-in-chief added.
Claiming to be victims of anti-Muslim prejudice, Ahmed and his family have already parlayed the clock into (1) that White House invite from Obama, (2) a scholarship fund that quickly raised more than $10,000, and (3) opportunities from various tech companies.
Not bad a bad haul.
But now, ...Ahmed’s story is unraveling:
...The clock, it appears, is an old-time digital alarm clock sold by Radio Shack. “Nice clock,” indeed. In the 1970s.
Why would Mohamed bring the old device to school? 
I can think of only two plausible reasons: (1) to get credit from his teacher or (2) to cause a reaction by those who might fear the device posed a potential danger.
The first motive seems unlikely.
From all that appears, there was no assignment that called on him to bring in a device.
Mohamed claims that he was encouraged by his father to bring the device to school to show off his skills to his engineering teacher.
But taking apart an old clock would involve no engineering skill or inventiveness.
...Some who initially sympathized with Mohamed have confessed error.
Famous scientist Richard Dawkins, a leftist, said he “feels like a fool” for having been taken in by the hoax..."
