MIAMI – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arrested 314 criminal immigrants last month in an enforcement action targeting individuals who pose a threat to public safety. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers made the arrests across the state.
Single arrests were made in Lee, Collier, Desoto and Hendry counties.
All of those arrested during the enforcement action met at least one of the agency’s three enforcement priorities. More than one-quarter had criminal records that included felony convictions for serious or violent offenses, such as murder, attempted murder, child sex crimes, sex offenses, weapons charges and drug violations.
"As this operation makes clear, ICE is committed to prioritizing convicted criminals and those who are public safety threats for apprehension and removal," said Marc J. Moore, field office director for the Miami Field Office of ERO, which oversees all of Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. “Our communities are safer today thanks to the hard work of our officers across the state.”
Yahoo's next step in password security is to eliminate them altogether.
Starting on Thursday, the company announced, users of the Yahoo Mail app on both iOS and Android will have access to a new service called Yahoo Account Key, which uses smartphones to verify identities in lieu of traditional passwords.
Here's how it works: When users who sign up for Account Key try to access Yahoo Mail, they will no longer need to enter their password. Instead, the Account Key service will send a message to the smartphone connected to the account.
With a tap on yes or no, users can indicate it is a legitimate attempt to get into the account or deny unauthorized access.
If their smartphone is lost or stolen, users can verify identities through an email or a text message sent to alternative accounts and numbers.
Angry migrants are suing Germany for not giving them access to benefits quick enough
Around 20 Syrian migrants have filed a case against the Berlin state Government demanding immediate access to shelter and benefits after waiting for more than a week to be registered by the authorities.
It comes as serious splits emerged in Angela Merkel's Government over how to divideeconomic migrants from genuine refugees fleeing war-torn countries.
Hundreds of asylum seekers are still waiting to be registered due to huge backlogs at the city's main refugee centre.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday rejected the Obama administration's assertion that Israel is using "excessive" force in some cases as it fights back against violence from Palestinians.
A day earlier, State Department spokesman John Kirby said Israel has the right to protect its citizens from the rising number of attacks, but said in some cases, Israel has gone too far.
"Now, we have seen some ... I wouldn't call the checkpoints this, but we've certainly seen some reports of what many would consider excessive use of force," Kirby said. "Obviously, we don't like to see that, and we want to see restrictions that are elevated in this time of violence to be as temporary as possible if they have to be enacted."
But Netanyahu reacted by rejecting that, and dismissing Palestinian claims that Israeli forces killed Ahmed Manashra.
"The Council on American-Islamic Relations is a bullying organization that wants its way and if they don’t get it they scream, “ISLAMOPHOBIA!” The leaders are pushing Islam into every community across America and there’s no stopping them until Americans understand they DO NOT want to coexist and assimilate into America. Tennessee has been flooded with Muslim refugees over the past few years so CAIR has taken a foothold everywhere. For more information on where Muslims have been sent just check out"
"On the heels of his gun control-Nazi comparison, Dr. Ben Carson was busy campaigning through Georgia (where people LOVE him, by the way) when he said a few things that have gotten some liberals riled up. He was in Gainesville, Georgia on Sunday speaking to a large crowd at Free Chapel, a mega church with multiple campuses, when he dropped a truth bomb about welfare.
“We shouldn’t give away our values for the sake of political correctness,” he said. Then he added that conservatives have, “no desire whatsoever to hurt the poor ... but I believe in true compassion, providing the poor with a mechanism to climb the ladder of success."

On Wednesday’s The View, co-host Joy Behar gushed over Bernie Sanders’ performance at last night’s CNN Democratic debate and she proclaimed that the Socialist “aroused” her. The liberal ABC host gushed that Sanders was so “menschy in that moment like a real guy” when he defended Hillary Clinton from scrutiny over her e-mail scandal and insisted that she “find[s] him to be eye candy, not ear candy, eye candy.”

Everybody is talking about O'Malley and how hot he was, but to me Bernie is hot.”Not to be outdone, co-host Michelle Collins showed her affection for former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and his “rock hard man things”: There are some pictures, ladies, everyone gird your loins. Confederate flag supporters indicted under Georgia terrorism law | Fox News:
A Georgia grand jury formally charged 15 members of a group supporting the Confederate flag on terror charges following a July confrontation with a black family who was celebrating a child’s birthday, according to an indictment released Monday.
Douglas County District Attorney Brian Fortner said members of the “Respect the Flag” group violated the state’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and made terroristic threats when their caravan of vehicles bearing the rebel flag drove past a neighborhood party.
“We do want to say that we respect the rights of all citizens to exercise their First Amendment right, but we’re going to require them when they’re doing that to respect the right of all of the citizens to feel safe,” Fortner said at a news conference attended byFOX5.
"A senior diplomat with a European Union government allegedly told former NSA intelligence analyst and counterintelligence officer and Daily Beast columnist John Schindler that his/her government believes President Barack Obama is ‘quite mentally unwell’ and inquired about impeachment–an apparent suggestion that his/her government believes Obama is unfit to serve as president and should be removed from office–according to a tweet by Schindler posted Monday."
In a 90-minute interview with The Hill, the Republican presidential front-runner pointed out that he has attracted large crowds just like Barack Obama did eight years ago as a White House candidate and that by this point in the 2008 cycle, the Illinois senator had Secret Service protection. Trump doesn’t, and he’s not happy about it. “I want to put them on notice because they should have a liability,” he said. “Personally, I think if Obama were doing as well as me he would’ve had Secret Service [earlier]. I have by far the biggest crowds.”
Obama was given Secret Service protection on May 3, 2007. At the time, law enforcement officials acknowledged it was unusually early in the presidential cycle to grant a presidential candidate protection, but also said it was not based on specific threats.

The report from the world organization is released every two years and this year it features a focus on child health and welfare in Europe, the Americas and much of Asia, including Japan and South Korea.

"There will be roughly 6,000 more criminals out on the streets after Oct. 30, as the Obama administration plans to release drug offenders as part of a sentencing program initiated by the president.

ALM BAY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - In his arrest report, police say Ronny Hicks appeared highly intoxicated, because his speech was slurred speech and he was acting confused. Since he was also operating a motorized wheelchair, the 54-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence. Police say Hicks, from Palm Bay, was allegedly blocking the path on a pedestrian bridge inside a park near Margaret and Helen streets in Palm Bay. Police were called because of complaints.
During his first appearance before a judge, the judge approved the maximum $5000 bond, because it was allegedly Hicks third DUI in ten years. But DUI attorney Jason Hicks, no relation, says although the arrest is within the letter of the law, it would be tough to get a conviction for DUI in a wheelchair if it goes before a jury.
