Global Cooling: Decade Long Ice Age Predicted As Sun 'Hibernates'

Global Cooling: Decade Long Ice Age Predicted As Sun 'Hibernates' - Technocracy News
Scientists claim we are in for a decade-long freeze as the sun slows down solar activity by up to 60 per cent.
A team of European researchers have unveiled a scientific model showing that the Earth is likely to experience a “mini ice age” from 2030 to 2040 as a result of decreased solar activity.
Their findings will infuriate environmental campaigners who argue by 2030 we could be facing increased sea levels and flooding due to glacial melt at the poles.
However, at the National Astronomy Meeting in Wales, Northumbria University professor Valentina Zharkova said fluctuations an 11-year cycle of solar activity the sun goes through would be responsible for a freeze, the like of which has not been experienced since the 1600s.
From 1645 to 1715 global temperatures dropped due to low solar activity so much that the planet experienced a 70-year ice age known as Maunder Minimum which saw the River Thames in London completely frozen.
The researchers have now developed a “double dynamo “model that can better predict when the next freeze will be.
Based on current cycles, they predict solar activity dwindling for ten years from 2030.
Professor Zharkova said two magnetic waves will cancel each other out in about 2030, leading to a drop in sun spots and solar flares of about 60 per cent.

Sunspots are dark concentrations of magnetic field flux on the surface that reduce surface temperature in that area, while solar flares are burst of radiation and solar energy that fire out across the solar system, but the Earth’s atmosphere protects us from the otherwise devastating effects.
She said: “In cycle 26, the two waves exactly mirror each other, peaking at the same time but in opposite hemispheres of the Sun.
“We predict that this will lead to the properties of a ‘Maunder minimum.

"And no matter how well-meaning this influx would strain any infrastructure, add to that a fundamental cultural divide, of European ideals and Islamic teachings, and you have chaos being inflicted within a sea of urban blithe, reminiscent of the third world.

However rather than being grateful for the humanitarian effort, many refugees are complaining about the accommodations."

Pension Predictions Fall Short

Pension Predictions Fall Short [Michigan Capitol Confidential]
The school pension system is in dire need of reform. It owes school employees and retirees $26.5 billion — 13 times more than the state owes its general obligation bondholders. Yet some policymakers think that they have already solved the problem with changes to the system made in 2010 and 2012. What has happened since shows why the state needs to get out of the defined-benefit pension business entirely.
pension ratesBack in 2012, legislative fiscal agencies modeled what would happen to contribution rates  — the percentage of schools’ payroll required to meet the costs of the system — with and without the reforms. They predicted that contribution rates would be 30.5 percent of payroll this year after the reforms.
Current rates are 36.3 percent of payroll, 19 percent higher than projected. And higher than fiscal agencies predicted they would be even without the 2012 reforms.
These projections for the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System went off the rails quickly and have underestimated real contribution rates since 2014.
The difference is caused by what we told them at the time: defined-benefit pension plans don’t get funded, they get underfunded.
The projections used by the legislative fiscal agencies assumed that the system would not develop any further unfunded liabilities. This was inaccurate. The system developed another $2.2 billion to the difference between what it has saved and what it has promised to pay out.
Underfunding the school employee pension system does a disservice to teachers, school boards and taxpayers alike. The state has failed to demonstrate that it can capably manage a large defined-benefit system, failing time and again to accurately project the real costs and to adequately pay those costs. That is why Michigan politicians ought to convert the system to a defined-contribution plan one where teachers are paid with real money rather than promises, and the costs to taxpayers are clear, transparent and controlled.

DEMOCRAT CONGRESSWOMAN: Obama Is "Working Hand-In-Hand With Islamic Extremists...Should Not Be Sending Troops Into Harms Way" [VIDEO] » 100percentfedUp.com:

"For anyone who’s not paying attention to what’s happening in the Middle East, she’s talking about the reckless actions of the most dangerous man in the world…

Bill Maher tonight spoke with Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard about an issue they agree on: the frustrating refusal of President Obama to accept “Islamic extremism” as a global threat."

BREAKING: Ted Cruz Makes DEVASTATING Move Against the Muslim Brotherhood:

“We have to stop pretending that the Brotherhood are not responsible for the terrorism they advocate and finance,” Sen. Cruz told reporters.

“We have to see it for what it is: a key international organization dedicated to waging violent jihad,” the Texas Republican added. “Since the Obama administration refuses to utter the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism,’ and Congress owes it to the American people to tell them the truth about this threat.”

It's about time someone in government stands against radical terrorist.  The executive certainly doesn't.

Bank Of Ireland Bans "Small" Cash Withdrawals At Branches

Bank Of Ireland Bans "Small" Cash Withdrawals At Branches | Zero Hedge:
"As central planners the world over grapple with the effective “lower bound” that’s imposed by the existence of physical banknotes, there’s been no shortage of calls for a ban on cash.
Put simply, if you eliminate physical currency, you also eliminate the idea of a floor for depo rates.
After all, if people can’t withdraw paper money and stash it under the mattress, then interest rates can be as negative as the government wants them to be in order to “encourage” consumption.
If, for instance, you’re being charged 10% for saving your money, then by God you will probably spend that money rather than see the bank collect a double-digit fee just for holding on to your paycheck.
In the absence of physical cash, there’s no way for depositors to avoid that rather unpalatable outcome unless the public starts buying hard assets like commodities with their debit cards.
If you think that sounds far-fetched, just consider the fact that everyone from Citi’s Willem Buiter to economist Ken Rogoff to the German Council Of Economic Experts' Peter Bofinger have now floated the idea.
"With today's technical possibilities, coins and notes are in fact an anachronism," Bofinger told Spiegel back in May.
Now, in what should be a wake up call to the world, Bank of Ireland has banned branch withdrawals of less than €700.
Seriously."

Obama Admin Makes SHOCKING Demand To Schools That Will Put Girls In Serious Danger

Obama Admin Makes SHOCKING Demand To Schools That Will Put Girls In Serious Danger:

"Students who are born with a gender but cognitively and emotionally identify with the opposite gender are identified as suffering from a condition called “Gender Dysphoria.” Treatment can consist of counseling with a psychologist. Other treatments may involve blocking puberty hormones, taking hormones to begin a gender change, or, in some cases, performing surgery to remove genitalia within sex-reassignment surgery.

The case of “Student A” is now drawing national attention. A civil rights violation complaint was filed within the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights against Township High School District 211, located in Palatine, Ill. The complaint alleges discrimination on the basis of sex by the school against the student for not allowing “Student A” to change in the girl’s locker room during PE and during swim class."

Hillary Clinton alone raised $917,591, or roughly 70 percent of the total amount.
Clinton has been performing particularly well among Ivy League universities, where she received over 87 percent of all donations."

Wimp!-----Jeb Bush Says He Was Wrong about France’s Workweek

Jeb Bush Says He Was Wrong about France’s Workweek | TIME:
""I really did a disservice to the French," he joked
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush lightheartedly apologized to the people of France on Tuesday for making fun of their work week during last week’s Republican debate.
Speaking to reporters aboard his campaign bus on the first leg of a three-day swing through New Hampshire, Bush once again criticized congressional lawmakers for working a three-day week, saying lawmakers have over-promised and under-delivered to the American people in successive elections. But the GOP presidential hopeful acknowledged he was wrong to criticize the French when he was trying to highlight rival Marco Rubio’s poor voting record in the Senate.
“I made the mistake of saying that the Congress operates on a French work week,” he deadpanned. “I really did a disservice to the French,” Bush added with a chuckle Tuesday.
“My inbox was full of French journalists,” piped in campaign spokesman Tim Miller."

Liberalism Is More Like a Religion Than We Thought

Liberalism Is More Like a Religion Than We Thought | PJ Media:
"There is a sort of orthodoxy required among liberals.
Do you believe in climate change?
What about the gender pay gap?
Those who do not toe the line often find themselves exiled — not just from the fold, but from the conversation.
To some extent, these views are merely what we mean when we say the word “liberal” — they describe a political program roughly supported by one major party.
But at some point, these views have become prescriptive; they have morphed into a moral structure to provide meaning and guidance in place of religion.
When political beliefs start to explain why bad things happen to good people, they may be crystallizing into something closer to faith...
The practice of attacking views as incorrect, or even as manifestations of evil, can be found in many religious denominations.
Early Christianity — not to mention the Reformation — is rife with examples of vitriolic debates that ended with consensus, and one side becoming villainized as heretical.
The Sunnis and Shi’ites in Islam have been fighting it out for centuries, and they still hate one another.
Today, some benighted hicks and malicious liars still doubt the doctrine of climate change as a deadly threat.
When Real Clear Politics writer David Harsanyi tweeted “Celebrate climate change, an externality of the greatest poverty destroying program in the history of mankind,” he was called a psychopath and a sociopath.
“When a group confuses politics with moral doctrine, it may have trouble comprehending how a decent human could disagree with its positions,” Harsanyi explained.
This, he suspected, “is probably why so many liberals can bore into the deepest nooks of my soul to ferret out all those motivations but can’t waste any time arguing about the issue itself.”

Court Rules Rights Of Christians In Michigan Were Violated By Stone Throwing Muslim Mob [Viral Video] » 100percentfedUp.com:

"You’ll probably remember this case when it happened and how shocking it was. Dearborn Muslims were videotaped throwing stones and assaulting Christians who came to the Arab festival in Dearborn, MI. The Wayne County officials silenced the Christians violating their free speech so the Christians sued Wayne County. A lower court then ruled with the Muslims and now the Sixth Circuit court has overturned the decision giving the Christians a win for freedom of speech. Watch this topic because several cases of prohibiting free speech have been reported as it relates to “offending” Muslims. This is a right we must fight for along with our Right to Bear Arms. "

LISTEN: Texas refugee group details plethora of services for incoming Syrians

LISTEN: Texas refugee group details plethora of services for incoming Syrians | The American Mirror
Is it possible Syrian refugees will be better off in America than many Americans?
refugee services of texasLiberty News recently published an audio recording it says is a phone call between a representative of Refugee Services of Texas and a man posing as a potential volunteer.
The services detailed in the call — being paid for by U.S. taxpayers — is staggering.
“Every refugee receives a sum of money from the government that’s welcome money. It’s $925 per person — a one-time sum,” the organization employee tells the caller.
That’s only the beginning.
She also rattled off a laundry list of services offered to incoming refugees intended to make them “self-sufficient and independent,” including:
  • Being picked up at the airport
  • Finding and securing an apartment
  • Setting up the apartment “so it’s livable”
  • Providing bus orientation
  • Transporting them to Social Security office to apply for card
  • Helping find employment
  • Eight weeks of English as Second Language (ESL) classes
The employee says volunteers help by setting up apartments.
The organization gives the volunteer a Walmart gift card to buy “all the items needed for the refugee’s apartment....”

Why Governments Aren't All That Different From Street Gangs

Why Governments Aren't All That Different From Street Gangs | The Daily Sheeple:
"At some point, you may have heard someone call the government a “gang of thieves writ large,” which is a generalization of a quote attributed to libertarian thinker Murray Rothbard.
However, if you’re not familiar with the philosophy behind that quote, you might mistakenly believe that it is nothing more than a clever observation on the wasteful and corrupt nature of government. That’s because you may not be aware of the meaning of “writ large.”
It’s synonymous with “clearly” or “obviously.”
In reality, Rothbard wasn’t trying to make a clever statement.
He was quite literally calling the government a gang.
Most people would have trouble wrapping their minds around that notion.
Clearly there are differences between governments and gangs right?
Agents of the state don’t lie, extort money, murder rivals, train and initiate uniformed enforcers, go to war with their neighbors, protect the integrity of their borders, enforce protection rackets, or conduct any other activities that aren’t permitted in their legal codes.
In case you didn’t detect my sarcasm, governments and gangs routinely engage in all of the activities I listed above.
That’s because they are one in the same.
The only significant differences between the two, is that gangs are usually smaller than governments, and their borders are a little more fluid."

CIA Head: 'Analysts Never Said the Video was a Factor in the Benghazi Attacks' | Select Committee on Benghazi

CIA Head: 'Analysts Never Said the Video was a Factor in the Benghazi Attacks' | Select Committee on Benghazi:

"All of this raises several important questions:

First, if the CIA and intelligence analysts never even mentioned the YouTube video, why did Secretary Clinton?

Second, if the first full intelligence assessment of what happened was not available until September 13, how can it be claimed that this assessment influenced Secretary Clinton’s statements on September 11 and 12? She couldn’t have read it before it was written.

Third, if intelligence analysts and Secretary Clinton believed from the beginning that Benghazi was a terrorist attack, why did Secretary Clinton not say so publicly until September 21?

Fourth, Secretary Clinton told the Egyptian Prime Minister on September 12 that “It was a planned attack – not a protest,” but when a reporter asked her on September 18 about the Libyan President saying it was a planned attack, she dodged the question, saying, “the Office of the Director of National Intelligence has said we had no actionable intelligence that an attack on our post in Benghazi was planned or imminent.” Why the dodge?

Secretary Clinton continued to associate the video with what happened in Benghazi in public remarks two and three days after the attacks, including at a transfer of remains ceremony at Andrews Air Force Base with family members of the victims present. "
