Texas Governor Strips State Grant Funding from Sanctuary City Sheriffs:
"Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced a new plan to strip state grant funding from county sheriff’s with a Sanctuary City policy of not honoring ICE detainers. 
The move follows Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez’s order that criminal illegal aliens in her jail will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if ICE detainers will be enforced.
“I am establishing new standards for Sheriff’s Departments that seek grants from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division (CJD),” Governor Abbott wrote in a statement obtained by Breitbart Texas.
“Beginning now, all CJD grant awards will require that Sheriff’s Departments fully honor ICE’s detention requests for criminal immigrants.
Any applicant that cannot certify that their office will honor all ICE detainers for criminal immigrants will be ineligible for CJD funding. 
Further, any applicant that certifies full compliance with ICE detainer requests—but subsequently fails to honor an ICE detainer—will be subject to claw-back provisions and must refund the full amount of their CJD grant award....”

Kathleen Willey: Willey was a White House volunteer aide who, in March of 1998, alleged on the TV news program 60 Minutes that Bill Clinton had sexually assaulted her during his first term as President.
Eileen Wellstone: Wellstone, an English woman, alleges that Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near Oxford University where Clinton was a student in 1969.
Carolyn Moffet: Moffet was a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979, said she met Governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and was invited to his hotel room. Moffet alleges that she fled the hotel room after Clinton demanded she perform sex acts on him.

Gay Gaddis: Did you always think you would be an entrepreneur?
Lizzie Velásquez: I didn’t really ever think of myself as an entrepreneur.
First and foremost, I had to flip the hurt and negativity of social media and turn it into something positive, to hopefully help others who have suffered from severe bullying to not let it get them down. I didn’t realize I was an entrepreneur until I was a speaker at a Malaysia conference for entrepreneurs!
Gaddis: It is one thing to have a cause. What did you do about it?
Velásquez: First, I decided I had to speak out about bullying and the devastation it had meant to me and others. 
My assistant principal in junior high asked me if I would make a speech to the student body.
When I spoke, you could hear a pin drop.
It was then I gained the understanding that people could relate to me.
They would listen to me..."

CRISPR is easy for biotechnologists to use and makes almost any imaginable genetic manipulation possible.
Derived from what amounts to a bacterial immune system for fighting off attacking viruses, the CRISPR gene-editing technique was first developed barely three years ago.
CRISPR can edit genes much like a word processing program can edit text.
Researchers hope it will allow them to cure cancer, correct genetic diseases, generate more productive and nutritious crops and farm animals, spread desired genetic modifications through wild ecosystems, engineer pigs as organ donors for people, and prevent heritable diseases by altering the genomes of human embryos—all in the not-so-distant future. 
In December, some 400 scientists, ethicists, policy makers, and activists convened at the International Summit on Human Gene Editing declined to recommend a permanent ban on making inheritable changes in the human genome
