Democrats’ latest excuse: Blame the Constitution

Democrats’ latest excuse: Blame the Constitution:

Image result for Who Signed the ConstitutionDemocrats have gone from bragging about their permanent majority a few years ago to complaining it’s impossible for them to win under the governing regime that we’ve had for more than 200 years, since it’s so tilted toward “minority rule.”
It’s certainly true that the Senate is not fully democratic and gives an outsized role to small states, since this was the price they exacted for signing on to the Constitution. This arrangement isn’t a conspiracy against the left.

The Best-Governed State Is…? | International Liberty

See the source imageThe Best-Governed State Is…? | International Liberty
"I recently wrote about the Tax Foundation’s State Business Tax Climate Index, which is a snapshot of current competitiveness (New Jersey is in last place, which shouldn’t surprise anyone).
But what if we want to know which states are moving in the right direction or wrong direction?
If so, the best document to review is Chris Edwards’ Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors.
The new edition just came out, so I immediately looked at the rankings.
The nation’s best governor – by a comfortable margin – is Susana Martinez of New Mexico.
She is joined by four other governors who earned top marks.
Eight governors, including two Republicans, were in the cellar.
The report has some other data worth sharing..."

Democrats Consider Becoming 'More Ruthless' After Losing Brett Kavanaugh Battle

Democrats Consider Becoming 'More Ruthless' After Losing Brett Kavanaugh Battle
"After losing the war to defeat Brett Kavanaugh, Democrats are thinking about becoming even “more ruthless,” reports the far-left Politico.
After launching at least a half-dozen debunked and outright phony allegations of criminal sexual deviancy against Kavanaugh, after accusing him of running a gang rape ring where women were drugged as a means to incapacitate them, after legitimizing the harassment of President Trump and Kavanaugh supporters up to and including chasing them out of public spaces, Democrats are thinking about becoming “more ruthless”?
Other than violence, what is left?
In all seriousness, how can Democrats become “more ruthless” than they have already been without resorting to violence?
...What?
Are we talking about the same Democrats who
  • violated every norm to hold onto Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations against Kavanaugh until it could do the maximum damage?
  • Are we talking about the same Democrats who used procedural trickery to pass Obamacare?
  • The same Democrats who nuked the Senate filibuster
  • Who politicized the FBI to try to frame Trump as a Russian spy?
  • Who weaponized the IRS against the Tea Party?
  • Who accused Mitt Romney of murder
  • Who investigated Sarah Palin’s womb
  • Who accused Palin of a mass murder in Arizona
  • Who invented Borking?
  • Who threatened a broadcast network’s license over a miniseries? Who are promising to pack the Supreme Court with more justices?

Those Democrats?
Those Democrats seriously believe they are playing by the rules and need to become even more ruthless?...

Millionaire Democrat Wants To Tax Parents With More Than Two Kids As "Irresponsible Breeders" | Zero Hedge
"A democrat congressional candidate in Pennsylvania has desires to tax parents who have more than two children as “irresponsible breeders.”

Wallace is also supported and endorsed by both Planned Parenthood and NOW (National Organization for Women).
According to The Daily Wire, Wallace, a millionaire and democrat who believes in taxing families with more than two kids for being privileged, also believes that the tax would be on “the privilege of irresponsible breeding.”...

The question is, why did the FBI, knowing this, lie about it? In effect, its application for a FISA tap on the Trump campaign was done at the direction of a political opponent, Hillary Clinton.
And that's entirely illegal, for both the FBI and Clinton.

Postmodernism Relativism Breeds Bullies & Conflict | National Review

Postmodernism Relativism Breeds Bullies & Conflict | National Review
"When we knock down truth, we get a free-for-all where bullies reign supreme.
When Allan Bloom published The Closing of the American Mind in 1987, he described an American academy awash in postmodern relativism.
Universities, rather than pushing students to find the truth, were inculcating the moral virtue of “openness,” such that the only belief that united anyone was that truth is relative.
“What right,” Bloom described students perpetually asking, “do I or anyone else have to say one opinion is better than the others?”
...What fruits did the relativist approach bear?
Certainly not what most commentators anticipated..."

Image result for flickr commons images Kevin McCarthy, R-CalifHouse Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., has signaled his intent to introduce legislation this week that would fully fund President Trump’s wall on along the nation's southern border.
The legislation by McCarthy, who is looking to drum up support among the GOP's rank and file as he eyes House Speaker Paul Ryan's speakership, is expected to call for full wall funding alongside other enforcement measures already approved in the House.
“Few things are more fundamental to a nation than a protected border,” McCarthy tweeted on Tuesday. “Proud to introduce the Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act.”

Now the boy’s parents, Michael J. and Alicia Flood, are suing the parents of the five girls and the Seneca Valley School District in Pennsylvania over their son’s treatment. They say in their 26-page lawsuit their son “was forced to endure multiple court appearances, detention in a juvenile facility, detention at home, the loss of his liberty, and other damages until several of the girls reluctantly admitted that their accusations were false.”

"Brooke Baldwin says description does not apply to the thugs who chased Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife out of a restaurant
For many Americans, it is offensive when a mob of people swarms a senator while he tries to have dinner with his wife in a public restaurant — but to CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin, using the word “mob” is what’s outrageous.
Baldwin reacted Tuesday to Daily Beast columnist Matt Lewis, who talked about how Republican voters are energized after the battle to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and all of the antics that accompanied it.
“I believe it’s the overreaction of the Left,” he said. “When you see people like Sen. Ted Cruz [R-Texas] getting chased out of restaurants by a mob —”
Baldwin cut him off.
“Oh, you’re not going to use the ‘mob’ word here,” she said to him..."

Women voters see through Democrats' partisan use of Ford accusations:

Image result for flickr commons images democrat logoWomen also saw the future of a society that puts politics over the principles of fairness and the presumption of innocence. And they saw Democrats leading that charge.
Democratic politicians, professional protesters and reproductive-rights activists are so blinded by their rage at how President Donald Trump succeeded in appointing a second originalist justice to the Supreme Court, they cannot see the anger they unleashed in the apolitical populace across America. They will see it, though, come November.

This bullying tactic is in obvious contradiction with feminism’s historic promise to uphold the individuality and agency of every woman. Can women actually think for themselves, or must they necessarily fall in line with progressive groupthink? The resounding answer from feminists seems to be the latter.
In response to Kavanaugh’s confirmation, prominent feminist pundit Jessica Valenti tweeted that “women will not forget,” while Jill Filipovic tweeted that “at least women now see a little more clearly how much we don’t matter to the people in charge.”

College students nationwide turn to goat yoga to de-stress - The College Fix
"Goat yoga is officially trending on college campuses nationwide.
Image result for goat yogaDozens of universities from coast to coast have hosted goat yoga events this year, promising students a chance to unwind with the farm animals to help cope with the stresses of college life.
A UT Chattanooga event last month billed it as a chance to “de-stress and engage in self care.”
At a CU Boulder over the spring, the students pet the goats in between poses and tried to maintain their posture as the goats came up to them in curiosity.
At St. Cloud State in September, goat yoga was part of a larger “Cloudfest” that included free food, a large sandpit and friendly puppers.
“Obviously, college students are at a stressful time in their life..."

Sgt. Kevin Healy was showing me known drug dealers, and they were everywhere — swarming the neighborhood, chatting and smiling.
They didn’t seem to have a care in the world.
That’s because they don’t.
Not in San Francisco.
“It’s almost impossible to get convicted in this city,” said Healy, who works in the Police Department’s narcotics division.
“The message needs to be sent that it’s not OK to be selling drugs.
It’s not allowed anywhere else.
Where else can you walk up to someone you don’t know and purchase crack and heroin?
Is there such a place?”...

We know the democrats cheated in the last election.
And they expected an easy win.
This time it's different and the "full-court press" is gonna be out.

Muskegon elections have been relatively fraud free but Nov. 6 may be different.
I believe the best way to help our quest for a fraud-free election is to work the front lines on election day.
And it will put us in a position to observe, report and (hopefully) STOP any irregularities.
• F and I will be working as "Election Inspectors" (the poll workers at each voting precinct) in the City of Muskegon. It is an all-day, paid job. 2 hour training is required and date/time will be announced soon. Expect late Oct. I will alert you when we get info. See below.
• A less time intensive alternative, Election Day Poll Challenger (info below), is an easy way to help. 2-6 hours on election day. Training is a webinar every Tue. and Thu.
