SCOTUS Mulls Power of Administrative State in Obama-Era CFPB

SCOTUS Mulls Power of Administrative State in Obama-Era CFPB:

Image result for flickr commons images Supreme CourtThe United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Tuesday in a case challenging the unchecked power of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), part of the administrative state formed in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis as part of the 2010 Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
The case, Seila Law LLC v. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, made its way through the courts after Seila refused to honor CFPB’s request for information through a civil investigative demand, and challenged the agency’s structure, calling it unconstitutional.

Museum Director on Super Tuesday: 'I Hope' Every Republican Dies

Museum Director on Super Tuesday: 'I Hope' Every Republican Dies
"As Texans headed to the polls on Super Tuesday, a museum director posted a message on Facebook expressing the hope that every person voting Republican would die that day.
This threat comes amid a spate of politically-motivated violence, including

  • a truck driver attempting to run down Republicans registering voters,
  • a man sucker-punching a boy at
  • a voting booth, and a man threatening Trump supporters with a cane sword.

"I hope every single one of you pieces of sh*t that votes republican, dies today," Melonnie Hicks, director of the Pioneer City Museum in Sweetwater, Texas, posted on Facebook.
...Even so, screenshots of the Facebook post have gone viral on social media.--Read all.

Exclusive– Tom Cotton Launches Ad Exposing Joe Biden, Democrats: Socialism Has 'Taken Over the Democratic Party’:

After former Vice President Joe Biden’s big night on Super Tuesday in the Democrat primaries, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) is launching a new ad campaign exposing how there is not much difference between Biden’s radical views and those of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and other socialists taking control over the Democrat Party.
With images of socialist dictators from Cuba and Venezuela spliced together with images of Biden, Sanders, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the new ad from Sen. Tom Cotton — provided to Breitbart News exclusively ahead of its public release — features a narrator saying, “Socialism has now taken over the Democratic Party.”

“An Incredible Way Of Putting It”: MSNBC Host and New York Times Columnist Highlight The Declining Math Scores In The Post-Yang Period – JONATHAN TURLEY
"...Now, MSNBC Brian Williams and New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay have delivered a cringe-worthy moment on the math behind Bloomberg’s campaign.
New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay applied some new math to her analysis of the cost of the disastrous Bloomberg campaign.
On Tuesday, Gay tweeted “Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads. The U.S. population is 327 million. He could have given each American $1 million and still have money left over, I feel like a $1 million check would be life-changing for people. Yet he wasted it all on ads and STILL LOST.”
It is clearly not just life changing but math changing since that would mean that there was only 327 people living in the United States.
...Williams however declared “It’s an incredible way of putting it.”
Gay then responded “It’s an incredible way of putting it. It’s true.”
Incredible, yes. True, no."

Hemingway: If Bloomberg Couldn't Buy 2020, How Did Russia Buy 2016?
"Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway joined Fox News’ “Special Report” to discuss New York billionaire Mike Bloomberg’s historic level of campaign spending...
“We had years where people were saying a couple hundred thousand dollars in barely literate Facebook ads from Russians caused Donald Trump to win. Here you had a guy spend nearly $1 billion and he went nowhere. It’s a humiliating defeat for Michael Bloomberg,” she said.
Host Bret Baier drilled the point home: “So Russians influenced the election with $200,000, or $300,000 in Facebook ads? And Mike Bloomberg couldn’t get more than 50 delegates with $600 million dollars?”...

The Muslim Migrant Attack in St. Louis You Heard Nothing About | Culture

"St. Louis resident Alicia Clarke says she feels as if she has been “failed by the system” and is now “not feeling safe,” and she has good reason to feel this way.
After she was savagely beaten and stabbed by her neighbor, her attacker walked free.
The court considered it decisive that he has an IQ of 49.
He is also a Muslim migrant, which may explain both the reluctance to prosecute him and the scant and incomplete coverage this incident has received.
St. Louis’ KSDK reported Monday that Clarke went out for a run near her home; when she returned, her cell phone was missing.
Tracking it with Find My iPhone to her neighbor’s backyard, she went to get it, and told her neighbor, “I know you did this and I’m calling the police!”
At that point the neighbor, whom KSDK describes only as a “6-foot teen,” attacked her.
“He knocked me down, pulling my hair, kicking,” Clarke recounted. When he finally stopped the attack, Clarke called the police.
But then he returned: “I am on the phone with St. Louis police dispatch,” she said, “making my way to my backdoor, when he comes back with a weapon. He is on top of me. There was blood everywhere. I was literally fighting for my life at that point.”...

How they steal you vote!-----Michigan State Police arrest celebrated Democratic official on six felony charges of election fraud

"OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Michigan State Police have arrested a recently celebrated Democratic Party official on several felony charges related to voter discrepancies.
...now facing six felony charges for reportedly forging records and falsely marking absentee ballots as invalid during the 2018 election, reported The Detroit News.
Sherikia Hawkins, 38, city clerk for the city of Southfield, was arrested Monday after the Oakland County Clerk’s office noticed discrepancies in voter counts while certifying absentee ballots from Southfield.
State police investigated and found that records had been altered so that nearly 200 voter files were improperly listed as invalid.
...Hawkins’ arrest comes just months after she was honored May 18 at the Michigan Democratic Party’s Legacy Dinner, where she received the Dingell/Levin Award.
...“Sherikia takes pride in using unconventional methods to engage the community in voting,” the website says..."

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a despicable woman with no redeeming qualities.
  • During her weekly press conference last Thursday, she said, “Lives are at stake. This is not a time for name-calling or playing politics.”
  • Shortly after it had ended she was criticizing President Trump over his administration’s response to the coronavirus crisis as anemic, opaque, too late and often chaotic.
  • All the while, Pelosi was holding back a House bill to provide funding to fight it.
Speaking with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Monday night, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said, “Look how much politics they want to play. The dirty little secret. We have the coronavirus. We need to fund this. You know what Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker, did?  She withheld the bill last week. You know why? So the DCCC could run ads against seven Republicans.”...
