My friend and colleague Jeff Reynolds wrote yesterday about a study that came out a couple of weeks ago which I had wanted to get to then but was probably distracted by the fact that my liver was in training for CPAC.
The study found that conservative students on college campuses tend to self-censor their political opinions out of fear of backlash from their increasingly unhinged leftist peers..."

Trump Brings Warrior Mark Meadows into White House as Chief of Staff
President Donald Trump has fortified his White House with a new chief of staff, former House Freedom Caucus chairman and retiring Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC).
On Friday night, the president named Meadows his new incoming White House chief of staff, announcing that his acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney would become the new special envoy to Northern Ireland.

Using only the foundation allowance ignores millions of dollars in other state funding that also goes to school districts.
For example, in 2018-19 Wayne-Westland received an additional $5.4 million from the state for “at risk” students.
That “at-risk” money is not part of the foundation allowance.
When reviewing all of the state dollars that Wayne-Westland has received over the past nine years, it has increased faster than inflation.
In 2009-10, Wayne-Westland received the equivalent in 2019 dollars of $7,665 in per-pupil state foundation allowance dollars.
By 2018-19 this had risen by $680, to $8,645 per student."
