Yes, A Michigan Law Rations Number Of Hospital Beds Here – Michigan Capitol Confidential"Michigan may be about to undergo a stress test of its capacity to manage the health care needs of patients stricken by the COVID-19 coronavirus.
That’s the view of some experts who believe the number of available hospital beds here is artificially constrained by Michigan’s bureaucratic and archaic Certificate of Need program.
Michigan’s CON law requires any proposal to build new medical facilities or add hospital beds to be approved by a state board dominated by already-established hospitals and health care providers..."

New York Times Authors Deceptively Edit Trump Quote on Medical Ventilators
At least eight New York Times authors shared a deceptively edited quote Monday from President Donald Trump’s recent call with state governors, creating the false impression that the president is denying federal support for ventilators that are needed in hospitals treating coronavirus patients.
In his message, the president recommended that states procure respirators and ventilators because it would be faster — but added that the federal government “will be backing you.”

A leading Israeli virologist on Sunday urged world leaders to calm their citizens about the coronavirus pandemic, saying people were being whipped into unnecessary panic.
...It’s not in the air.
Not everyone [who is infected] dies; most of them will get better and won’t even know they were sick, or will have a bit of mucus.”But in Israel and around the world, “everybody is whipping everybody else up into panic — the leaders, via the media, and the wider public — who then in turn start to stress out the leaders.

Overton Window
Overton Window
"The Overton window is the range of policies politically acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time.
It is also known as the window of discourse.
The term is named after Joseph P. Overton, who stated that an idea's political viability depends mainly on whether it falls within this range, rather than on politicians' individual preferences.
According to Overton, the window frames the range of policies that a politician can recommend without appearing too extreme to gain or keep public office given the climate of public opinion at that time."

Thunderdome 2020 Begins – Philadelphia Police Will Not Arrest for Burglary or Theft Due to Coronavirus… | The Last Refuge
"As an outcome of short-sighted coronavirus issues, the Philadelphia police department has announced they will no longer be arresting suspects for retail theft, auto theft, burglary, narcotics or other “non violent” offenses.
Instead they will write tickets, release the suspects and address the criminality later on. Now watch what happens.
CTH saw the instructions earlier today (see below) but we did not want to immediately distribute the information.
The only thing standing between law-abiding citizens and those who would take their possessions is an ability to defend your own property.

It should be remembered the current Philadelphia police commissioner, Danielle Outlaw (pictured left), is a social justice activist from Portland, Oregon.
Unfortunately, there is a predictive element to this. Perhaps some are familiar with the post Hurricane Andrew experience in Homestead and Miami-Dade.The only thing standing between law-abiding citizens and those who would take their possessions is an ability to defend your own property.
This is now the Philadelphia reality..."
