Emirates' Brilliant New Ad Sums Up How We All Feel | One Mile at a Time
There aren’t many airlines putting effort into ads right now, but Emirates has just released a new ad called “Do you remember?” 
This comes at a time when Emirates’ entire fleet is grounded, and global aviation is more or less shut down.
This ad is brilliant, and it made me both emotional in a sad way, and put a smile on my face about the better days that are (hopefully) on the horizon.
I think most of us can relate to the message, so check out the 60 second ad:

"...a new opinion poll by Rasmussen Reports shows that Americans are turning hardline in the face of the new and deadly Chinese coronavirus. 
Two out of three want to ban interstate travel and fine those who violate social distancing guidelines.
To be precise, 67% of likely U.S. voters say they want to ban all out-of-state travelers from entering their state -- except for emergencies. 
A mere 21% are opposed, 12% are undecided. 
As for fining those who break social distancing guidelines: 68% support such a measure, while 20% oppose it and, again, 12% are not sure.
That's all incredibly fascinating. But what's even more interesting is this tidbit from the survey:
[T]here is virtually no difference of opinion on either question among Democrats, Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major political party...

On the heels of his promise to shut off power and water for nonessential businesses that refuse to close amid California's coronavirus "safer at home" order, Democratic Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti encouraged residents to report such businesses to authorities, KCBS-TV reported.
"You know the old expression about snitches? Well, in this case snitches get rewards," a smiling Garcetti said at a Tuesday media briefing. "We want to thank you for turning folks in and making sure we are all safe."

See the source image"...in the Coronavirus relief package recently passed by Congress, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats tried to include language making it easier to commit vote fraud with the ballots of our military stationed overseas.
...House Democrats used the word "temporary" twenty-two times in their legislative requests.
But all changes to election law were to "go into effect in the November 2020 election and for each succeeding federal election."
Pelosi and team wanted to make sure provisions imperiling election integrity, particularly military votes, were permanent.
General changes would usurp states' Article I rights to determine election procedures, remove voter ID requirements, and provide vote harvesters with the ability to collect and deliver as many absentee ballots as they could fit in a moving truck.
  • Changes to military vote protocols were even worse.
...at least seventeen percent of overseas military members did not vote because ballots were late or did not arrive at all. ...Absentee military ballots are currently printed with service member's names and states of residence.
Instead of strengthening these protections, Speaker Pelosi wanted to use COVD-19 relief to send blank ballots to our military in foreign countries and hostile areas. 
This opens up fraud at domestic mailing and delivery points, within foreign mail services, and again at local voting stations.
...In a move both insulting and ironic, Ms. Pelosi would require these honorable soldiers, sailors and airmen provide a ridiculous assurance to the government that they are not the ones committing vote fraud when their ballots are only at risk when out of their hands.

  • ...Although Democrats' changes were not included in the final bill, we now know the liberal plan to dilute the integrity of the military vote. 
  • We at home must remain vigilant on behalf of those who are not.

“There are 15,905 people currently hospitalized. Cuomo said two-thirds of hospitalized patients have been discharged, and the total number of hospitalizations dipped yesterday.” 
The numbers in New York are bad, but don’t seem to be going as predicted.

During an interview broadcast on Friday’s “PBS NewsHour,” Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci stated that without China’s “delay in transparency” on the coronavirus, “other countries would have maybe been more quick on the trigger to try and inhibit travel from China to their country.” Fauci also stated that nothing “would have prevented the spread of this virus.”
