ROGER KIMBALL: Crime Hiding Crime: A Motive for the Steal.

ROGER KIMBALL: Crime Hiding Crime: A Motive for the Steal.
"My point is this: fear as well as greed has been a powerful motivating force in explaining the desperate tactics employed by the Left to secure the presidency for the disagreeable and senescent political hack at the head of the Democratic ticket.
  • The agenda he and—more to the point—his leftwing puppeteers hope to enact was one motivating factor.
  • Their desire to free themselves from scrutiny for their years—in some case, decades—of corruption was another, equally powerful motivation.
Doubtless, many of them of them believe they can breathe easy now.
Joe is almost president, isn’t he?
Well, is he?
I said that the whole Russia Collusion hoax was the biggest scandal in American history.
That award might be about to be transferred to the 2020 presidential election.
Fair and free elections are essential to the maintenance of democracy.
Perhaps we have just witnessed how difficult it is to assure their perpetuation in the face of concerted partisan interference.
The first U.S. presidential election was held in December, 1788.
We’ve come a long way in two hundred and thirty-two years.
It was a good run, maybe the best in history.
It would be sad to see it go."

Make no mistake, they want more free money to GOVERNMENT, not more for you to earn!-----Commentary: Deficit and Debt Shouldn’t Factor Into Coronavirus Recession Response

Commentary: Deficit and Debt Shouldn’t Factor Into Coronavirus Recession Response
"... “THE RISKS OF DOING TOO LITTLE TO SUPPORT FAMILIES AND THE ECONOMY FAR OUTWEIGH THE RISKS OF DOING TOO MUCH.”
With so much economic activity now at risk, a recession looms, and this one could rival or even exceed the Great Recession of 2008-2009.
...Today, spending is falling off the table, even among those who have not lost their jobs, as people are asked to stay at home, events are canceled, and establishments close.
...Meanwhile, many states and localities will face budget shortfalls as shrinking economic activity erodes their tax revenues and prompts them to consider budget cuts.
...Given the magnitude of the crisis, now is not the time for policymakers to worry about raising deficits and debt as they consider what steps to take...Read all.

Court strikes blow against LGBTQ tyranny

And remember, under these oppressive ordinances, to sit and talk with the child was forbidden by law if that child wanted to feel at home in her own body. But to put her on puberty-blocking hormones as a child, then remove total healthy parts of her body, then put her on hormones for life, was allowed by the law. To call this perverse is an understatement. Child abuse would be more accurate.

Arizona 'expert witness' Bobby Piton suspended from Twitter same day of explosive testimony
"Bobby Piton, a mathematician who testified Monday at an election integrity hearing in Phoenix, Arizona, was suspended by Twitter that same day.
As the state certified its election results, Piton testified that the data he has collected county-by-county showed clear anomalies, as 95-99 percent of registered voters voted in key demographics: “Something is very wrong,” he said.
The Trump campaign shared a video clip of his remarks, to include Piton saying, “I would have never ever have certified, I would rather resign than have certified those results.”...Read all.

What statistics tells us about the efficacy of the Pfizer, Moderna, & Oxford vaccines | American Enterprise Institute - AEI

What statistics tells us about the efficacy of the Pfizer, Moderna, & Oxford vaccines--American Enterprise Institute - AEI
"The news that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines are 95 percent effective at preventing COVID-19 disease...
...While this is certainly welcome news, it requires context, based on the statistical methods used to evaluate efficacy in clinical trials.
In the case of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, for example, the estimated efficacy is based on 170 observed cases of COVID-19 among trial participants, 162 of whom received the placebo.
Thus, only 8 trial volunteers who received the vaccine developed COVID-19, which translates into an observed efficacy rate of about 95 percent.
A reasonable question for those trying to understand the implications of the trial, however, is whether this impressive result could have occurred by chance, given that the sample size of 170 cases is relatively small...Read all.
