Beware the double-masking double-crossers: In the new techno-dictatorship, ‘science’ equals control

Beware the double-masking double-crossers: In the new techno-dictatorship, ‘science’ equals control
  • At what point do we stop calling ourselves a ‘free country’?
"After all that’s transpired over the past year, after all the official lies have been exposed, it’s astonishing to see how many Americans still walk around like obedient drones, masked up, distanced, distrusting, avoiding eye contact, rarely cracking a smile.
Why bother smiling at your neighbor?
Such expressions of humanity are no longer visible in Chairman Biden’s lawless, jobless and joyless America.
The mask edicts – they are not laws they are edicts – are now so ubiquitous and so oppressive that one U.S. senator is warning they may never be lifted.
“They will never relent. These people are never gonna let you not wear a mask,” said Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, in a recent interview.
Paul, who is also a medical doctor, is calling for a mask rebellion. I wish he had found his voice earlier but we must heed his words of warning.
“I promise you,” Paul said, “you will never get out from the mask because they’re saying that even after all are vaccinated, we don’t know, you still might catch it a little bit, you still might transmit it, even after everybody’s vaccinated. So don’t listen to these people.”...Read all.

Sen. Paul's Cage Match With Stephanopoulos Is A Pattern For The Right

Sen. Paul's Cage Match With Stephanopoulos Is A Pattern For The Right

Rand Paul’s patience ran out this week when he made an appearance on ABC with George Stephanopoulos and the latter exchanged journalistic inquiry for partisan hackery. The ensuing fight, however, was a case study in what the media has become and how all conservatives who hit the airwaves ought to take them on.

Rather than pose legitimate questions to the Kentucky senator, Stephanopoulos, who made his money as a Clinton-era Democratic operative before jumping over to the world of “objective journalism,” assumed one of the corporate media’s favorite stances. Let’s call it “media antagonism.”

That Would Be a Very Bad Idea, Cupcake

That Would Be a Very Bad Idea, Cupcake
"Allow me to explain, Pam, why this is a really, really bad idea.
I have warned about how bad an idea legal reprisals against a departing administration would be, but let’s consider the specific case you present here.
Let’s consider for a moment, purely for the sake of argument, that this were actually true.
If folk, including governors, started treating Trump as the legitimate president and, therefore, the election illegitimate, what’s to stop them from treating an impeachment or indictment as equally illegitimate?
...So, what’s the solution?
If this is truly the path they were to take how would they stop that “shadow government”?
There are only two ways.
  • One would be to hold Trump completely incommunicado, even to the extent of forbidding him contact with counsel to discuss appeals and other aspects of due process.
  • Or they would simply have to kill him (assassination or execution depending on whether they fig-leaf it with a kangaroo court).
That would be absolute “go time”.
Count on it...Read all.

Biden Exec Order Creates Depression-Era ‘Civilian Climate Corps’
"President Joe Biden plans to create a New Deal-style “Civilian Climate Corps” to mobilize “a new, diverse generation of patriotic Americans” for the battle against climate change.
On Wednesday, Biden unveiled a flurry of executive actions his administration planned to undertake to “tackle the climate crisis at home and abroad.”
...To help implement the unified national response, Biden is proposing the creation of a civilian climate corps.
The program, based on the poverty-relief programs of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal, will focus on employing individuals to work on energy-efficient infrastructure and conservation programs.
The “Civilian Climate Corps Initiative [will] put a new generation of Americans to work conserving and restoring public lands and waters, increasing reforestation, increasing carbon sequestration … and addressing the changing climate,” a policy brief prepared by the White House reads.

British professor backed by Natural Trust claims gardening is “racist”
(Natural News) A professor in the U.K. has claimed that gardening is a racist pastime rooted in class and privilege.
University of Leicester post-colonial literature professor Corinne Fowler said in her new book that the British countryside is a “terrain of inequalities.”
...In her book titled Green Unpleasant Land, the professor argued that botanical knowledge “has had deep colonial resonances” as many British estates were partly financed by colonialism and slavery.
She continued that the scientific classification of plants had “engaged in the same hierarchies of ‘race'” that justified colonial occupation and slavery.
Thus, Fowler posited that “gardens are matters of class and privilege.”...Read all.

"The Virginia Board of Elections rule allowing officials to count ballots that arrived without a postmark up to three days after the election was illegal, a state judge ruled.

Virginia Circuit Court Judge William Eldridge ruled the state’s late mail-in ballot law violated state statute and permanently banned the law in future Virginia elections, the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) announced Monday. This has been simmering for over a year and the story behind it is great.
I’ve been tracking this since September and devoured all of the details from the origin through today.
So back in September 2019 (!) some guy named DeepFuckingValue posted this on r/wallstreetbets:
It was just a post about his LEAPS (aka, Long-Term Equity Anticipation Securities —long-dated calls) on GME.
At the time, nobody understood his position at all.
The top comment on that post?
"Bid-ask spread on these are ridiculous, good luck getting rid of them" lol.
For the next year, every month about once a month, he posted his "YOLO GME" position.

Colorado residents seek to secede to join Wyoming, citing shift in state's priorities | OutThere Colorado
"Dubbed "Weld County, Wyoming," a group has popped up with the goal of getting an initiative added to their county's November 2021 ballot that would "instruct Weld County Commissioners to engage and explore the annexation of Weld County with the State of Wyoming's Legislature."
Located in northeast Colorado, Weld County is one of Colorado's top agricultural counties, with members of the group citing a shift in Colorado's priorities away from this industry, as well as oil, gas, and gun rights, as a reason for their proposal.
If the proposal is eventually included on the November ballot and the initiative passes, the Colorado legislature and the Wyoming legislature would have to approve it, along with possible approval from Colorado voters and Congress required, according the Mayor of Erie, Colorado.
Weld County has an estimated population (2019) of around 325,000 residents while Wyoming has an estimated population (2019) of around 579,000 residents statewide.
Weld County joining the state would mean a huge uptick in population and a big shift in population distribution.
