The good old days... are gone!

It could prove the "complainers" are fools. So what are they afraid of?

2020 was the deadliest year for law enforcement officers in decades - CNN
"A report released Monday by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) found that 264 federal, state, military, tribal and local law enforcement officers to date died in the line of duty last year -- the highest since 1974.
The reason that number is so high: Covid-19.
Law enforcement officers died last year of numerous causes, among them vehicle crashes, heart attacks and gun shots.
But more officers died of Covid-19 than all other causes combined, with 145 out of the 264 deaths attributed to the virus...Read all.

This is why we loath the lying, liberal media.

A Record 34% Of All Household Income In The US Now Comes From The Government

The next time one of your progressive friends starts prattling on about sustainability, show them this:

We are referring, of course, to Personal Current Transfer payments which are essentially government sourced income such as unemployment benefits, welfare checks, and so on. In March, this number exploded to a mindblowing $8.1 trillion annualized, which was not only double the $4.1 trillion from February, but was also $5 trillion above the pre-Covid trend where transfer receipts were approximately $3.2 trillion.

We’ve been spending our way into oblivion for a long time — Wuhan Flu and Presidentish Biden are just speeding things up.

Really, we care very deeply about the coming fiscal panic/crash/worse… but if Washington doesn’t, why should we?"

Twitter Blocks 'Uncle Tim' from Trending Despite Allowing It to Trend

Twitter has blocked Sen. Tim Scott’s (R-SC) “Uncle Tim” trending topic Thursday after he delivered the rebuttal speech to President Joe Biden on Wednesday.

“This is in line with our policies on Trends… to promote healthy conversations on Twitter. This means that at times, we may not allow or may temporarily prevent content from appearing in Trends until more context is available,” the Twitter spokesperson told Fox News. “This includes Trends that violate The Twitter Rules.”

Dispatches from the Lunatic Asylum America Is in Danger of Becoming
"...HUD Won’t Protect Women in Shelters:
...Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge...withdrew a proposed rule put forth by her predecessor, Dr. Ben Carson, that would have protected the right of shelters to define “sex” as they choose, thus protecting them against transgender legal assaults.
Here’s Fudge’s rationale for her decision:
“Access to safe, stable housing-and shelter-is a basic necessity. Unfortunately, transgender and gender non-conforming people report more instances of housing instability and homelessness than cis-gender people.“Today, we are taking a critical step in affirming HUD’s commitment that no person be denied access to housing or other critical services because of their gender identity. HUD is open for business for all.”
What Fudge’s decision means in practice is that no shelter can turn away a transgender man or a man who claims to identify as a woman, no matter if there are concerns about the safety of the women residents, meaning no protection can be afforded for the latter...Read all.

Lack of tanker truck drivers could lead to gas shortages this summer | KETK.com | FOX51.com
"(WJW) — With gas prices already surging this year, another fuel problem may soon be on the horizon.
Some in the industry are now predicting a fuel shortage come summer.
And it’s not due to a supply issue, but rather not enough tank truck drivers to move the fuel to gas stations.
CNN reported that industry group National Tank Truck Carriers said nearly 20% to $25% of tank trucks aren’t being used right now as there are not enough qualified drivers available.
...“I’ve talked to retailers, they say there could be places where there are brief outages,” Jeff Lenard, spokesman at the National Association of Convenience Stores, told CNN.
“If they have no fuel, they have no business. People aren’t going to stop in for a sandwich if you don’t have fuel.”

Border Patrol chief bucks Biden effort to scrub 'alien,' 'illegal': 'Further erode public trust' - TheBlaze

The Biden administration last week ordered Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to abandon words like "alien," "illegal," and "assimilation" when talking about migrants or immigration. Instead, officials were directed to use words like "noncitizen or migrant," "undocumented," and "integration." CBP top official Troy Miller said the lexical changes are necessary to protect the dignity of immigrants.

Lansing BP&L has only one source of power, one coal plant!-----GM spokesperson Kristin Zimmerman admits 95% of “clean” energy to charge electric cars comes from COAL

GM spokesperson Kristin Zimmerman admits 95% of “clean” energy to charge electric cars comes from COAL
"...General Motors (GM) spokesperson Kristin Zimmerman has become something of an internet sensation for letting the cat out of the bag that “electric” cars actually run on about 95 percent coal.
During a recent unveiling of the new Chevy Volt, Zimmerman demonstrated for the media how the supposedly “green” vehicle is simply plugged into a power source for energy.
And this power source, at least in Michigan, is mostly burned coal.
A man in a suit pulled out the giant plug (watch below) and waved it in front of the cameras, prompting laughter from the press, before inserting it into the Volt.
A journalist then walks up to Zimmerman to ask her about the power source behind the plug.

“So what’s charging the batteries right now? What’s the source?” one member of the press asked in response.
“Well, here,” Zimmerman answered. “It’s coming from the building.”
“I mean, what’s their mix of power?” the press member then responded.
“Oh, actually Lansing feeds the building. Lansing feeds power to the building, so I don’t know … I’ll bet you they’re a bit of coal, oh they’re heavy on natural gas, aren’t they?”
J. Peter Lark from the Lansing Board of Water & Light, the power company Zimmerman was referring to, quickly cleared up the discrepancy.
“Right, it would be charging off the power grid which is about 95 percent coal,” Lark told the reporter...Read all!

Cop Suspended Without Pay For Mocking LeBron James

  • Cop Suspended Without Pay For Mocking LeBron James
  • Don’t make fun of BLM
"An Idaho cop who mocked LeBron James in a viral Tik Tok video has been suspended without pay and is now under investigation, with many expecting him to lose his job.
The controversy started when Nate Silvester responded to the basketball star’s infamous deleted tweet where he wrote, “You’re next. #Accountability,” alongside a photo of Nicholas Reardon, the officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant.
Bryant’s death became a rallying point for Black Lives Matter despite the fact that she was literally attempting to stab two other African-American women to death with a knife before Reardon intervened with deadly force.
Silvester responded to LeBron’s awful take on the incident by creating a skit where he arrives at the scene of a violent crime taking place and then calls dispatch.
“Dispatch, I’ve arrived at that disturbance. Will you have LeBron call my cell phone right away, please? Thank you,” states Silvester while telling those involved in the altercation to hold on while LeBron calls back.
“LeBron, hey, yeah, it’s me again,” Silvester states. “Listen, I’m out here at this disturbance call and there’s a guy trying to stab another guy with a knife. What do you think I should do?”
