Losing our children to PC madrassas!-----Teacher Gives Behind-Scenes Look at How Unions Promote Wokeness

Teacher Gives Behind-Scenes Look at How Unions Promote Wokeness
"California teacher Brenda Lebsack says she began seeing “red flags” in her school district when she decided to become more involved with her union, the California Teachers Association.
After she began attending the union’s conferences in 2015, Lebsack says, she was alarmed to see that many of the topics weren’t academic but instead focused on social justice, human rights, and LGBTQ issues.
“I thought, wow, my union does not seem to care that much about academics as much as they do the political side of things,” Lebsack told The Daily Signal in a phone interview.
...In states such as California, unions and lawmakers are “removing more and more local control,” she says.
“And they are removing parent rights.”
...While attending an Equity & Human Rights Conference in Torrance, California, in March 2016, Lebsack says, she spoke with union lobbyist Seth Bramble.
Lebsack told Bramble about a former student, a Mormon, who said he believed that marriage is between a man and a woman, and that gender is ordained by God.
“How do you think I should have responded to that student?” Lebsack recalls asking the union lobbyist.
She says he responded: “You should treat that student as though he said black people should be burned at the stake.”...Read all!

Carlson pointed to examples of where the FBI had not been truthful in the past and asked why media outlets like CNN were so trusting of it regarding the January 6 investigation.

Inventing "hate"-----NO, THERE WASN’T AN LGBTQ ‘TERROR ATTACK’ ON SATURDAY:

Instapundit--NO, THERE WASN’T AN LGBTQ ‘TERROR ATTACK’ ON SATURDAY:

"It Was Likely a Drunk Driving Gay Chorus Member. “But, according to local media, the suspect in the crash apparently ‘was wearing a Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus t-shirt’ when taken into custody.

To that extent, ‘Justin Knight, the chorus’ president,’ confirmed that ‘chorus members were the ones injured and that the driver was ‘part of the Chorus family’

Regardless of the truth, the left could not wait to blame this incident on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. #DeathSantis began trending on Twitter as soon as word got out.”--Posted by

Rogan was speaking with progressive commentator Kyle Kulinski when he went on a tirade against a CNN panel for complaining that some YouTube personalities have more views than CNN. "They didn't even understand the way they were describing it," Rogan said. "They were describing it as if they're entitled to viewers. They were saying, 'There are people on YouTube right now that get more views than this show,'" he explained. "This is because the market has spoken and your show's.......

Whitmer, lawmakers call for ‘hero pay’ for essential workers

Whitmer, lawmakers call for ‘hero pay’ for essential workers
"...She is supporting a pair of newly introduced resolutions from Sen. Marshall Bullock, D-Detroit, and Rep. Cynthia Neeley, D-Flint, supporting the concept of additional pay
...They call for using some of the federal money flowing into Michigan for the bonuses, and in a press release, the lawmakers cited previous examples of additional pay for essential workers, including
  • the one-time $1,000 bonus for first responders earlier in the pandemic and
  • the $2-per-hour wage hike for direct care workers who provide Medicaid-funded care.
Bullock and Neeley support “hero pay” that applies more broadly to other sectors, too.
“Essential workers are heroes who faced the COVID-19 pandemic with unbelievable strength and courage.
These are people — from
  • grocery stores,
  • hospitals,
  • schools,
  • mass transit, and
  • so many other industries — who went to work every day knowing they risked bringing home a deadly virus to their own families,” Bullock said.
Andrea Acevedo, president of SEIU Healthcare Michigan, said she was advocating for a lump-sum payment for essential workers....Read all.

California Exported Activists to Cure Ballots in Arizona, Georgia in Days Following Election

California Exported Activists to Cure Ballots in Arizona, Georgia in Days Following Election

"As the Arizona audit of 2020 ballots winds down, progressive activists — continuing the tradition they laid out in that extraordinary TIME Magazine article where they admitted all the things they did to ensure a Biden win — are now admitting to traveling from California to Arizona and Georgia to help cure ballots in the days following the election.

A California nonprofit called Unite Here is profiled in yet another extraordinary piece in The Atlantic in which they admit they sent activists across state lines to Arizona to help “cure” ballots in the days following the election.

The article titled, “How Unite Here Turned the West’s Biggest Red State Blue” (subtitled: “Arizona was pivotal in the 2020 presidential election. Its shift was no accident.”), rather shamelessly details how activists associated with the nonprofit had affected races in Arizona in the past and had their sights set on the general election as early as July...Read all!

Black father destroys critical race theory at school board meeting: 'How did I get where I am right now if some white man kept me down?' - TheBlaze

Ty Smith — a black man who has two sons, 17 and 19 — absolutely annihilated critical race theory during his comments to an Illinois school board earlier this month, saying it will teach children of different races to "hate each other" and will reverse Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream that all people may be judged by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin.

Must read! This is the template they will use for future racist policies!-----Detroit marijuana licensing program ‘likely unconstitutional,’ says federal judge who shut it down

Detroit marijuana licensing program ‘likely unconstitutional,’ says federal judge who shut it down
"Detroit’s marijuana licensing program that gives preferential treatment to longtime residents suffered a potentially lethal legal blow Thursday when a federal judge wrote that it is “likely unconstitutional” and issued a preliminary injunction halting the program indefinitely.
...‘The city ordinance governing the process for obtaining a recreational marijuana retail license gives an unfair, irrational, and likely unconstitutional advantage to long-term Detroit residents over all other applicants,” Judge Friedman wrote.
...Detroit Councilman James Tate, who spearheaded creation of Detroit’s ordinance, said he’s “disappointed” by the ruling and ensures “no adult-use licenses will be issued in the city unless Detroit residents are provided the ability to truly compete for the same wealth building opportunities that other communities have benefited from in the cannabis industry.”
“Social equity policies like the Detroit Legacy portion of our licensing ordinance always come under attack when there are genuine efforts to remove excessive barriers and create a more just process for those who have been harmed by the system,” Tate said.
“Our intention for crafting such legislation was never to prevent anyone from participating in the recreational marijuana industry but to ensure that the long-standing residents of this city – residents who have endured ill effects of the nation’s ‘War on Drugs’ through mass incarceration, punitive hiring policies, blight and generational poverty -- have a fair shot of participating in a potentially lucrative opportunity for Detroit.”

The Detroit marijuana licensing program defines legacy applicants as those
  • who have lived in the city for 15 of the last 30 years;
  • have lived in the city for 13 of the last 30 years and are low income;
  • or have lived in the city for 10 of the last 30 years and have a marijuana conviction
  • or a parent with a marijuana conviction.
It gave various perks to legacy applicants, including
  • a head start on application processing. .
  • Legacy applicants were also to receive a 99% discount on licensing fees in 2021,
  • a 75% discount on licensing fees in 2022, and
  • the opportunity to purchase city-owned land for 25% of the market value...
  • The Detroit licensing plan calls for no less than 50% of up to 75 new retail businesses to be owned by legacy residents and the 50% legacy minimum applies to most other license types...Read all!!!!
