Botched: More Embarrassing Details Emerge In FBI’s Snag Of Rioter With Lego Set

Botched: More Embarrassing Details Emerge In FBI’s Snag Of Rioter With Lego Set
"Remember last week when The Daily Beast published a “scoop” revealing that one of the men charged in the January 6 Capitol riot had a “fully assembled” Lego model of the Capitol in his home? It turns out it wasn’t true; the man merely had the unopened box set.
“Federal investigators seized an unusual piece of evidence from a Pennsylvania man indicted last month for his role in the Capitol riot — a Lego replica of the building he allegedly stormed,” The Daily Beast originally reported.
“Robert Morss, 27, is accused of leading fellow rioters in what prosecutors say was ‘one of the most intense and prolonged clashes’ with officers on Jan. 6.”
...“In original detention memoranda, the undersigned stated that law enforcement found a ‘fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set.’
That statement appears to be inaccurate.
The Lego set was in a box and not fully constructed at the time of the search,” the new filing says...Read all.

Reporter witnesses 'surreal' moment when 'mostly black families' rally to support police while Antifa protests - TheBlaze

Talk about narrative-busting.

Just weeks after Oakland lawmakers voted to slash funding from the Oakland police department, a reporter witnessed what he called a "surreal" moment in Oakland on Saturday — black families rallying to support police while "mostly white" Antifa protesters demonstrated against police.

No. There is zero "silver lining" from inflation!

Democrats Hate Election Integrity

Democrats Hate Election Integrity
"Somewhere along the way, the Democrats in America became completely broken.
...That brokenness has resulted in the Democrats rejecting pretty much anything that Republicans support.
Sometimes it finds them rejecting positions on issues that, until recently, they supported themselves.
The Democrats are now opposed to anything that Republicans advocate for in the way of election integrity.
If Republicans were to propose a law that mandated that everyone breathe freely while voting, Democrats would find a way to call that a “restriction.”
We are currently witnessing some thoroughly embarrassing (for America) and pathetic behavior by members of the Texas House of Representatives, which Tyler wrote about yesterday before it even got underway:

Almost every single Democrat in the Texas House of Representatives plans to leave Austin on Monday in an attempt to stymie the special session that Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) called. As PJ Media’s Bryan Preston reported, Abbott called the special session in order to advance legislation on election integrity, border security, social media censorship, family violence prevention, protecting women’s sports, fighting critical race theory, and curbing access to abortion-inducing drugs, among other things.

At least 58 of the 67 Democrats in the Texas House plan to skip out on their jobs, an echo of the stunt Democrats pulled in 2003, NBC News reported. The move would paralyze the chamber...Read all.

The good old days-----WHY NBC GOT RID OF JAY LENO

Kathy Green
WHY NBC GOT RID OF JAY LENO--News is leaking out from Hollywood executives in-the-know that the Obama White House had been leaning on, pressuring executives at NBC for the last two years to replace Jay Leno because the comedian was criticizing Obama every night. Obama didn't like it and considered it a racist attack on him.
After data came to light that $100's of millions had been spent on First Family vacations during a recession, Mrs. Obama's unpopular new laws that changed food in America's schools and other negative news including the disastrous Obamacare roll-out & website mess, Jay Leno took his comedy to a new level and his ratings skyrocketed -- none of the other comics were so bold...
GOLDEN OLDIES FROM JAY:
  • "I was going to start off tonight with an Obama joke, but I don't want to get audited by the IRS."
  • On NSA surveillance: "We wanted a president who listens to all Americans -- now we have one."
  • On a new IRS commissioner: "He's called 'acting commissioner' because he has to act like the scandal doesn't involve the White House."...Read all!

Is failure a byproduct or an aim of Democratic policy? | Washington Examiner

Is failure a byproduct or an aim of Democratic policy? | Washington Examiner
"...What stands out is the Democrats’ corrosive policy of paying people not to work.
...Everywhere one looks, it’s impossible to recruit staff.
  • A local grocery has posted a notice asking customers to be patient with slow service because the place is short-staffed.
  • A builder who’d like to take on more projects amid the real estate boom is frustrated because he “can’t hire people to do the work.”
  • The local YMCA has lost 30 lifeguards because it can’t keep them on the wages it can pay.
  • A lodge catering to whitewater rafting groups on the Kennebec River turns customers away because its diminished staff can’t cope. In its restaurant, tables are left uncleared around other diners because it’s impossible to hire busboys to tidy up. The frazzled manager says bluntly that his inability to match what Joe Biden pays people to stay idle “has something to do with it.”
  • A hostess in another understaffed restaurant put the issue with succinct completeness, saying, “Until the unemployment runs out, no one wants to work.”
Paying people not to work saps morale, slows wealth creation, and becomes a habit of idleness — a malaise even.
Does anyone think this is good for the country?...Read all!

Ted Cruz Introduces Bill Banning Feds Maintaining Vaccine Database

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is introducing a bill banning the federal government from maintaining a vaccine database amid President Joe Biden’s door-to-door outreach across America to pressure citizens to take the coronavirus vaccine.

“When the Biden admin calls for ‘targeted’ ‘door-to-door outreach’ to get people vaccinated, it comes across as a g-man saying: ‘We know you’re unvaccinated, let’s talk, comrade,'” Cruz tweeted Thursday evening.

Most Voters Want Schools To Teach Traditional Values - Rasmussen Reports

At a time when many schools are embroiled in controversy over the teaching of Critical Race Theory (CRT), voters still think it is important that kids learn traditional values in school.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 78% of Likely U.S. Voters say it’s at least somewhat important for schools to teach the traditional values of Western Civilization, including 52% who say it’s Very Important. This is virtually unchanged from four years ago, and in line with surveys dating back to 2013. ...Read all.

Rand Paul on CDC Guidance, Federal Mandates on Masks: 'It's About Submission'

Rand Paul on CDC Guidance, Federal Mandates on Masks: 'It's About Submission'

Friday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) criticized the justification for mask mandates, arguing that they were not based on science.

“It’s about submission,” he said. “There’s never been any evidence of spreading events in the schools. The kids do very well with this. The idea that we’re going to put masks on the kids, and then we’re going to punish the kids who, for their own medical decision-making or their parents, decide not to submit to this mandate. To me, it’s the biggest, basically advertisement and encouragement to get out of the government schools. Go to private schools, if you can afford them, teach your kids at home. But don’t submit to the state, don’t submit to the government.”

School District That Suspended Kids Over BB Guns At Home Forced To Pay Up

School District That Suspended Kids Over BB Guns At Home Forced To Pay Up

You may recall the story of Ka’Mauri Harrison, the Louisiana elementary school student who was suspended from school last year after a teacher briefly spotted a BB gun in Harrison’s room during a virtual class session. Harrison had simply picked up the BB gun from the floor of his bedroom and put it away so that his younger brother wouldn’t trip over it, but the mere sight of the BB gun through the boy’s laptop camera was enough to cause the Jefferson Parish School District to claim that Harrison had violated the district’s weapons policy, and they
barred from attending class, even online, for several weeks.

Not long afterwards, a sixth grader in the same district was suspended for basically the same reason; an accidental and brief display of a BB gun...Read all.

Biden Administration Claims Cuban Anti-Communist Protests Are About 'Rising COVID Cases/Deaths'

"President Joe Biden’s administration responded to protests in Cuba against the Communist regime on Sunday by issuing a statement through a minor official commending protests “about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages.”

On Sunday, protests broke out in Havana and several other Cuban cities, during which people chanted “Freedom!” and “Down with the dictatorship!” while marching against Communist Party institutions. The New York Times noted that while the demonstrations were triggered by “food and medicine shortages,” they also “openly protested against the Communist government” for the first time in nearly 30 years. Some activists called it the largest spontaneous popular protest since Fidel Castro took power in 1959, with protesters openly denouncing the regime of Miguel Diaz-Canel.
