NEW DATA SHOWS GREAT BARRIER REEF CORAL COVER IS AT A ‘RECORD HIGH’
"For years Australians have been fed the lie Queensland’s mining, energy and agricultural industries are destroying one of Australia’s most valuable gems: The Great Barrier Reef.
- We’ve been bombarded with headlines from the ABC declaring the “Great Barrier Reef outlook worsens to critical as climate change named number one threat to world heritage sites”.
- Our children attend Climate Strikes carrying placards saying “coral over coal” – a mere echo of Greens leader Adam Bandt’s claim “it’s coal or the reef - you can’t have both”.
- Earlier this month, a Chinese Communist Party led United Nations committee asserted Australia’s “insufficient progress” on climate is putting the reef “in danger”, even though Xi Jinping is building military bases on top of reefs in the South China Sea.
- Even “miserable ghost” Malcolm Turnbull fell for the hype and hysteria as Prime Minister, giving a sneaky $444 million grant to the climate-obsessed Great Barrier Reef Foundation with no tender.
Very different, of course.
According to the very latest data from the “experts” at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, coral cover on the Great Barrier Reef has increased significantly to a record high value of 28 per cent with no serious coral bleaching found at all...Read all.
Infrastructure Bills: Socialism on Steroids
"Under the innocuous title of “infrastructure,” a revamping of our society into a socialist state is hurtling through the Senate.
...The $3.5 trillion Democrat version includes
- federally controlled universal preschool,
- taxpayer-subsidized child care,
- low-income housing,
- free community college, and
- more Leftist fake energy projects like clanky windmills.
- ...inner city buses on which hardly anyone ever rides.
Meebee cuz obesity is terribly unhealthy?-----WHY IS BODY-SHAMING BAD?
It can’t be because shaming is bad, because God knows the people denouncing body-shaming are fine with other varieties.
And it can’t be because you can’t change your body, because anyone can.
So there must be another agenda here: “The woke left is composed of ugly people who want to be treated as beautiful people, bad people who want to be treated as good people, stupid people who want to be treated as smart people, and the grifters who profit from the above.”
And judging from the photos accompanying the article, the people condemning the body shaming are pretty much all fat.--Posted by Glenn Reynolds"
GA House Speaker Demands 'Independent Forensic Investigation' Into 2020 Election in Fulton County
In a Thursday letter directed to Fulton County Elections Director Richard Barron, Ralston called upon the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to explore the possibility of election fraud in Fulton County.

Lib-loons trying to destroy ANOTHER city!-----‘Best value’ ballot proposal headed to Ann Arbor voters
"ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor will have a special November election to let voters decide city charter changes regarding how big city contracts are awarded.
...City Council voted 10-1 this week to call for an election Nov. 2 and place a
- “‘best value purchasing” proposal on the ballot.
- It’s one of multiple proposals that could go on the ballot, along with
- a 20-year tax to fight climate change
- and a ranked-choice voting proposal.
That would give the city more flexibility to implement a responsible contractor policy approved by council last year and give more consideration to other factors that impact value beyond simply bid price, Eyer said...

Texas Reportedly Unveils Its Own Border Fence That Will 'Cut the Feds Out of the Equation'
Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott has reportedly launched the construction of his state’s own fence along the southern border in an effort to slow the border crisis and “cut the feds out of the equation.”
“I asked what a chain link fence is going to stop?” Fox L.A. reporter Bill Melugin tweeted on Tuesday. “Texas [Department of Public Safety] tells me the idea is to cut the feds out of the equation. No trespass signs allow them to arrest on local charges. Instead of calling Border Patrol, they will take migrants to jail for violating Texas law.”

The Panic Pandemic | City Journal
"The United States suffered through two lethal waves of contagion in the past year and a half. The first was a viral pandemic that killed about one in 500 Americans—typically, a person over 75 suffering from other serious conditions. The second, and far more catastrophic, was a moral panic that swept the nation’s guiding institutions.
Instead of keeping calm and carrying on, the American elite flouted the norms of governance, journalism, academic freedom—and, worst of all, science...
If, as seems increasingly plausible, the coronavirus that causes Covid-19 leaked out of a laboratory in Wuhan, it is the costliest blunder ever committed by scientists. Whatever the pandemic’s origin, the response to it is the worst mistake in the history of the public-health profession. We still have no convincing evidence that the lockdowns saved lives, but lots of evidence that they have already cost lives and will prove deadlier in the long run than the virus itself.
- One in three people worldwide lost a job or a business during the lockdowns, and half saw their earnings drop, according to a Gallup poll.
- Children, never at risk from the virus, in many places essentially lost a year of school.
- The economic and health consequences were felt most acutely among the less affluent in America and in the rest of the world, where the World Bank estimates that more than 100 million have been pushed into extreme poverty...
The panic was started, as usual, by journalists...Read all.

Tulane medical school put on probation for alleged racism and sexism, promises more ‘diversity’ programs
- The probation comes after a lawsuit from a black female doctor
...Tulane is currently being sued by a former program director who still teaches at the medical school.
MedPageToday reported:
The ACGME’s decision to place Tulane on probation follows a public debate over the removal of Princess Dennar, MD, from her position as director of the Medicine-Pediatrics residency program last February.
