Reporter claims NY Times sat on her Kenosha riots story until after election
"...we should have guessed there was more to the story.
Now we know there was. Bowles is back and she’s describing how she wrote an article covering the riots in Kenosha last August and the impact they had on local businesses.
But to her surprise and apparent suspicion, her editors informed her that the story wouldn’t run until after the election. (NY Post)
'A former New York Times reporter claims the newspaper held her story about the ravaging effects of the Kenosha riots on impoverished neighborhoods until after the 2020 elections.
...Bowles said she was sent to report on the “mainstream liberal argument” that vandalizing buildings for racial justice was not detrimental because businesses had insurance.
“It turned out to be not true,” Bowles wrote.
“The part of Kenosha that people burned in the riots was the poor, multi-racial commercial district, full of small, underinsured cell phone shops and car lots. It was very sad to see and to hear from people who had suffered.”...Read all!

"It's so dangerous what she said right there," Dave said in response. "What she's saying is, as gas prices rise we're gonna have to do more of all that stuff that they've been trying to push down your throats with 'Build Back Better.'"

Democrat Strategists Have Plan To Turn Critical Race Theory Controversy To Their Advantage In 2022
  • More of the same: “It’s not just that Republicans want a bigger role for parents in education, it’s that Republicans are willing to let white supremacists write curricula.”
"...Some high-level democratic strategists, however, believe they’ve hit on the issue that will save their electoral prospects next year: Critical Race Theory, or CRT.
...Once again, the DCCC follows the gameplan of the radical supporters of CRT, by putting forth the false premise that opponents want to censor the “real history” of race in America.
...Amusingly, democratic leadership’s message has gone from
  • denying CRT exists to denying it’s being taught
  • to giving it a full-throated defense and
  • believing that incorporating it into public schools is an electoral winner for them...Read all.

Job Creators Network Demands Biden WH 'Cease and Desist' Pushing Small Businesses to Comply with Its 'Illegal' Vaccine Mandate

Job Creators Network Demands Biden WH 'Cease and Desist' Pushing Small Businesses to Comply with Its 'Illegal' Vaccine Mandate

The Joe Biden White House, through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), is attempting to enforce a vaccine mandate for private employers with 100 or more staff members. The mandate has faced massive legal pushback. It was halted for the second time earlier this month by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. The judge in the case pointed to “grave statutory and constitutional issues” with Biden vaccine mandate.

OSHA has since suspended implementation per a court order.

Still, JNC says, “the White House continues to willfully ignore the judiciary and call on businesses to continue implementing the rule by January 4, 2022, as if these judicial decisions never occurred.”

Who's the Boss: Student Successfully Orders Her Professor to Recite an Apology, Attend Racial Bias Training
"...an instructor at the University of Michigan caught the ire of the offended by introducing his class to a 1965 film.
The cinematic iteration of Shakespeare’s Othello starred Sir Laurence Olivier.
...Professor Bright had survived Mao’s China, but he couldn’t escape America’s social conscience.
...Despite the teacher’s letter of apology, he was replaced as head of the class.
  • And now, the blackface-ish controversy continues its carnage.
At Oregon’s Lewis & Clark College, Associate Professor of English William Pritchard showed students a clip from Othello for discussion.
...Claire demanded William attend racial bias training.
Additionally, she ordered, he must compose “a well-written apology, two pages in length or longer” and read it aloud in class.
...So will William retain his class? His job? That remains to be seen....Read all.

FNC's Carlson on Rittenhouse Verdict: Turns Out the American Media Aren't in Charge of Our Country -- 'Most People Don't Watch that Crap'

Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson reacted to Friday’s Rittenhouse acquittal with a scathing rebuke of the media for its portrayal of Kyle Rittenhouse, which based on the trial proceedings turned out to be incorrect.

Carlson also said it showed the diminished role the media play in America.

Gee, I wonder if they've ever done same when the accused was a minority? White privilege?

Here’s Everything That’s Wrong With the Build Back Better Spending Bill House Democrats Just Passed
"It's uniquely terrible even by the abysmally low standards we expect from Congress.
  • First, the cost is astronomical...The true cost of the legislation, once one accounts for budget gimmicks and dishonest political rhetoric, is up to $4.9 trillion. That’s an astounding $32,000 per federal taxpayer.
  • And most of this money would go to wasteful government programs and counterproductive expansions of the welfare state...electric vehicle subsidies...It similarly wastes billions funding a “Civilian Climate Corps” that would pay people to do environmental activism that even proponents admit won’t reduce emissions.
  • So, too, the Build Back Better agenda openly violates President Biden’s promises that he wouldn’t raise taxes on anyone earning less than $400,000. It raises billions in new taxes on nicotine products that millions of working-class Americans regularly consume and hikes corporate taxes that ultimately fall on workers’ shoulders via lower wages.
  • It does all this while, rather hypocritically, giving the rich a net tax cut...Read all!
