- No one is safe from thugs anymore—whether a commuter on a New York subway or the Pelosis in Pacific Heights.
- The country reportedly has a 25-day supply of diesel fuel—the energy source that runs the nation.
- We never fixed the supply-chain crisis of last year, and so still face shortages of key consumer goods.
- The labor participation rate is at an all-time low—given fat government COVID subsidies, the Siren-song appeal of staying home after the lockdowns, fear of COVID, and millions of workers with long COVID...

Sweden’s Public Health Agency recommended suspending administration of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine to individuals aged 30 years old and younger this week.
The agency said Wednesday it was a temporary measure due to concerns about the vaccine increasing risk of heart inflammation. Authorities will wait until more data is available on the risk of developing pericarditis or myocarditis from the shot before making a final decision.

Seven out of ten Americans believe America is heading down the wrong track under Democrat leadership, a recent Ipsos survey found.
Most Americans, 71 percent, believe the country is headed down the wrong track. Just 17 percent, overall, believe it is headed in the right direction. Perhaps what is more damning for the left is the fact that most Democrats, 56 percent, believe the country is going off on the wrong track — a sentiment held by 88 percent of Republicans and 75 percent of independents as well.
