If Quebec can build on her French roots, then why can't Alberta return to her American roots?

During the 19th century, Alberta was on the US dollar, and the US postal service, before there was any connection to eastern Canada via railroads. - Alberta 51st State Movement
  • Cattle were purchased in Texas and driven up to the grasslands of Alberta via the Great Western Trail.
  • Later, American farmers brought the agricultural technologies that had been developed on the Great Plains, and used them to cultivate Alberta.
  • American school teachers also went to Alberta, and took special oaths that still protected their American citizenship, while teaching Albertan school children.
  • After that, Texas oil men came and developed the oil industry.
  • In 1906, nearly 25% of the people living in Alberta were American BORN.
And, prior to that multi-generations of Albertans originally had American roots.
