Although ranked-choice voting is always presented by its proponents as nonpartisan, the truth is that it’s now being used by many on the left as part of an effort to undermine districts where conservatives hold much of the power. That’s why many of the groups pushing for ranked-choice voting just happen to support left-wing policies.
For example, left-leaning organizations FairVote.org and Rock the Vote are lobbying hard to convince lawmakers to adopt the voting scheme. These groups and their allies support policies such as a national popular vote, open primaries, and universal voter registration — all of which are widely favored by the left and disfavored by conservatives. Their wholehearted support for ranked-choice voting is telling.

It's been involved in recommending the controversial HPV shots, as well as promoting LGBT ideology. And then it was caught up in the maelstrom of the COVID shots, which actually injured tens of thousands of Americans.
And now its reputation has taken another major hit, with a judge's determination it was breaking the law by deleting information that should have been kept for government records.

“I can’t, in good conscience, with the values that I have and my commitment to represent the voters of California, continue to call myself a Democrat,” Alvarado-Gil continued.
Lamenting fighting an “uphill battle” to make positive changes with her fellow Democrats, she stated that her Republican colleagues “have a plan to fix California, and I want to be part of that.”
