Teaching hate and ignorance to children!-----Oregon’s DOE ‘acted to obscure’ radical ideologies ‘woven’ into policies, lessons

Oregon Department of Education promoting “ethnomathematics” (which instructs educators to “identify and challenge the ways that math is used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views”) - Dave Huber - Associate Editor
  • There’s also the fact that Governor Kate Brown signed into law a bill which did away with “all [Oregon high school graduation] essential skills requirements” in the name of “equity” and “anti-racism.”
(In 2021, The Fix reported that Oregon’s “Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction” toolkit claims “the concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false,” and notes a way “to improve equitable outcomes for Black, Latinx, and multilingual students”
is to
  • “visibiliz[e] the toxic characteristics of white supremacy culture with respect to math.”
Some of these “toxic characteristics” include a “focus on getting the
  • ‘right’ answer,”
  • “independent practice is valued over teamwork,” and
  • “requiring students to show their work.”)

SICK: Taylor Lorenz and Fellow Leftists Celebrate Healthcare CEO’s Murder - Selwyn Duke

They’re also, usually unwittingly, enabling the murder of the United States’ first-world status as Third World behavior becomes normalized.
  • Certain people in our society are members of what has been called the “culture of death.”
  • They have outed themselves again, too, in a most shocking way:
Celebrating the murder of the healthcare CEO assassinated Wednesday on a Manhattan street.
What’s more, in this they’re not just cheering the murder of a man..

Biden-Harris regime able to eliminate 1 million native-born jobs in a year * WorldNetDaily * by Owen Klinsky, Daily Caller News Foundation

Biden-Harris regime able to eliminate 1 million native-born jobs in a year * WorldNetDaily * by Owen Klinsky, Daily Caller News Foundation:

"Biden's economic legacy, besides 40-year-high inflation and record debt, could perhaps best be described as transforming the American labor market into a temp agency for foreign workers and government bureaucrats," E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation's Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, told the Daily Caller News Foundation regarding the increasing disparity between foreign and native-born employment. "He [Biden] has left behind blue collar America to import new blue voters."

Alleged Journalists are Freaking Out About Trump Allowing Independent Outlets in Press Briefings By Jeff Charles

...suggesting podcasters, internet personalities and media deemed more friendly to him could replace outlets like the major television networks, The New York Times and The Washington Post in the room’s front rows.
  • President-elect Donald Trump’s team is reportedly floating the idea of shaking up the White House press briefing room.
As expected, members of the press are already whining about it...

It’s a tech-sensational Saturday, friend! I saw “Wicked,” and the trailers before the movie started were so annoying. Cinemark averages 26 minutes of previews before the movie starts. AMC’s not any better, at 21 minutes. My advice? Book online ahead of time to get the best seats and stay at dinner a little longer … or just wait to watch it at home, where you can sing your heart out. “Wicked” will probably be on Peacock in mid-February to boost its Oscar buzz before the March 2 ceremony.

UPDATE: Manslaughter charge against Daniel Penny dropped | Blaze Media

UPDATE: Manslaughter charge against Daniel Penny dropped | Blaze Media:

After three days of deliberation, the jury in the trial of Daniel Penny reported Friday to the judge that they were unable to reach a verdict in the first count of manslaughter in the second degree, and prosecutors decided to drop the charge. Penny, a 26-year-old Marine veteran, was arrested after he got into an altercation with a man named Jordan Neely, who was making death threats against passengers on a subway train in New York City. Videos showed Penny subduing the man with a chokehold, which led to Neely's death. Penny was charged with manslaughter by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The 58,000 Member Mess

The government tells us this week that there are now over 58,000 criminals who also happen to be illegal aliens in New York City. - Dan Zoernig
  • New York City calls itself a Sanctuary City.
And I was surprised to learn that it's been that way since the 1980s when Democrat Ed Koch declared it as such to support people fleeing political oppression and looking for political asylum...

Trump reportedly has plan when countries refuse to take back their illegal aliens * WorldNetDaily * by Jason Hopkins, Daily Caller News Foundation:

Trump plans to enter office and begin to not only conduct the largest deportation program ever witnessed in U.S. history, but he has also vowed to resume border wall construction, end birthright citizenship for those born to illegal migrant parents, restart the travel ban and bring back the Remain in Mexico program — which kept asylum seekers waiting in Mexico while their claims were adjudicated in immigration court.

FEMA Illustrates Perfectly What's Wrong With Government When Hurricane Victim Asks for New Window

In western North Carolina, a place that might not often feel the effects of a hurricane, Ronald Reagan's declaration that "...government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem" has been on full display. - By Becky Noble
  • Hurricane readiness and aftermath assistance are usually down to a science in places like Florida and Georgia, sometimes even before federal government agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) arrive.
  • However, in western North Carolina, a place that might not often feel the effects of a hurricane, Ronald Reagan's declaration that "...government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem" has been on full display.

Why an age of energy rationing is looming over Britain Paul Homewood

We all knew it was going to happen, but the green blob turned a blind eye:

But in the nearer term, some fear the breakneck pace of change could stretch the grid to the limit.
  • In September, the country’s last coal-fired power station, at Ratcliffe-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire, closed.
  • As Britain’s reactor fleet shrivels, the amount of nuclear capacity will fall from six gigawatts (GW) today to just 1.2 GW by 2028 or soon after.
Along with rising demand from power-hungry data centres and technologies of the future, it will make it even harder to keep the lights on when wind and solar generation is low...

The possibility of preemptive pardons is sparking instant reaction on the political right. "Why would they need to do that if they did nothing wrong?" wondered Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA.

The Banned Books Hoax

Let me make it absolutely clear: There are NO BOOKS BANNED in the United States. Not a single one. - Kip Hansen
Now, I mean this quite literally.
And I urge you to do your own research on this: I would be pleased if readers could find a single book that is on any list anywhere as forbidden to be sold, imported, or read in the United States. [see end note [i]]
So, you may well ask, “How can Banned Books be an ongoing social controversy if there are no banned books?”
The long and short of it is:
1. Some people think that some books are not appropriate for school children of various ages.
2. Other people, specifically the American Library Association, the trade group of librarians in the United States, and PEN America, a writers advocacy organization, hold the position that ALL books should be made available to all people in all libraries and if there are to be any exceptions, only librarians or the books’ authors are qualified to make those decisions.
Now, let’s get real...
The real story is that the American Library Association (ALA) label any challenge, any questioning of librarian’s choices about which books to include in which sections of any library: Book Banning.
