MAID in the Great White North: Canadian per Capita Euthanasia Deaths Now Beat U.S. Gun Deaths

The story in question is about Kathrin Mentler, a woman who struggles with suicidal ideation. She sought help for a crisis and was offered assisted suicide rather than suicide prevention: - Amy Curtis
Back in March, Canada added mental illness to its list of MAiD-eligible conditions.
What's MAiD?
It's Canada's 'Medical Assistance in Dying' program.
It was meant to help patients with terminal illnesses die with 'dignity' and now it's devolved into being used to off the poor, Canadian military veterans, the disabled, and the mentally ill...
  • FIVE PERCENT of Canadian deaths were medically-assisted suicide last year.

Action is the only guarantee for peace!

As Demand for Electricity Soars, a Key Part of the Power Grid Is In Short Supply

Transformers keep everything running and the power industry can’t make them fast enough. -
Matthew Gault
Everything in the world runs on electricity and power is in constant demand.
To solve the geometric demand for more power, humans are reviving nuclear power plants, advancing fusion energy, investing in solar power, and building more traditional gas and oil plants.
  • No matter how you make it, all these methods of creating electricity require a crucial piece of tech: transformers.
According to IEEE Spectrum, there are not enough of them...

Socialist Creates "Most Wanted CEO" Deck of Cards After United Healthcare Shooting - Victory Girls Blog

The founder of a “socialist apparel” brand who has called online for the death of corporate executives is planning to sell a deck of cards of “most wanted CEOs” — complete with names and faces and decorated with illustrations of gun range targets.- Victory Girls Blog by Nina Bookout
And thus, he created one and gleefully touted it on Instagram and TikTok.

Comrade Workwear founder James Harr announced the disturbing project just days after UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was executed on the streets of Midtown Manhattan.

He said it was inspired by the “most-wanted Iraqi” playing card decks famously distributed to US and coalition forces during the 2003 invasion of Iraq to help identify key targets in Saddam Hussein’s circle.

J6 was planned by democrat leaders in order to ban Trump from running for President by redefining the term "INSURRECTION"

Key US Air Force base shut down over drone activity as aerospace CEO unveils chilling theory on wave of mysterious drones | Blaze Media

Robert Purtiman — a spokesman for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base — stated on Sunday, "Installation leadership has determined none of the incursions impacted our base, our residents, our facilities, or our assets. We're taking all of the appropriate measures to safeguard the installation and all of our residents."

The drone incident in Ohio highlights growing concerns over the barrage of drone activity in the Northeast, especially in New Jersey.

Duh!-----Scientists develop revolutionary new tool that uses trees to help cool down cities: 'That information hasn't been available'

Planting trees is a common cooling method, but it relies primarily on guesswork and isn't backed by precise science.

  • "Trees are good at cooling because they pump a lot of water from the ground into the air, and when that water evaporates at the leaf surface, it absorbs a vast amount of heat," said Steward Pickett, co-author and urban ecologist at Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies.
  • "That's just the physics of evaporation. The shade provided by trees also helps with cooling," he added...

Can counselors legally free people trapped by LGBT feelings? Supreme Court pushed to get involved * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

Can counselors legally free people trapped by LGBT feelings? Supreme Court pushed to get involved * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

For a number of years already, state and local governments that abide by the leftist ideology found in the LGBT movement have tried to promote their beliefs by censoring ideas that contradict. Specifically, they've labeled ordinary talk therapy delivered by counselors to patients who want to rid themselves of various LGBT ideologies as "conversion" therapy and banned it, despite the fact that infringes on the First Amendment's protection of free speech. They demand that pro-LGBT counseling is acceptable, but anything that contradicts the ideology must be banned.

Not Your School’s Reading List 3: Fiction for the Ages

This week’s entries include fictional stories with timeless themes and insight into reality, in addition to being enjoyable tales in their own right. - Intellectual Takeout
Read the previous list here.

1. Joseph Conrad. Heart of Darkness. 1899.

“From humble beginnings as the son of a dissident in Poland, to a life of adventure on the far corners of the globe, to at last a dignified position as an elder statesman of the English literary community, Conrad’s personal story is as engaging as his writing. … His incredible stories and the characters in them captured the human condition with a degree technical and artistic perfection often imitated but never full captured again.”

2. Norman Mailer. The Naked and the Dead. 1948.

“Hailed as one of the finest novels to come out of the Second World War, The Naked and the Dead received unprecedented critical acclaim upon its publication and has since enjoyed a long and well-deserved tenure in the American canon. … Written in gritty, journalistic detail, the story follows a platoon of Marines who are stationed on the Japanese-held island of Anopopei.”

3. Ray Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451. 1953...

Woman Gets $34M From Jury That Found Police Had Framed Her

  • ...“They asked me their standard questions: ‘Are you injured? Do you need an ambulance?’ I told them, ‘Yes. I’m injured. I don’t know if I need an ambulance.’ And then because I know the police don’t always show up right away in Chicago, I asked if they were coming. They wouldn’t give me an answer. So, I waited.”...
  • “At 3:30 in the morning, I woke up to a call back. They asked if I was still on the scene – this was like four hours later...
  • “So, Monday, I went in person to file a police report. They told me they would assign a detective in three days or so. That was infuriating because, again, at the time it happened, the guy was right there on the scene.”...
  • “After more than two months, I did, miraculously, get a call back from a detective in late November...
“When I filed my report, one of the officers actually hinted to me that if you do say you need an ambulance, they’ll send a squad out to protect the EMTs while they work on you...

Gavin Newsom is one sore loser. Now that President-elect Donald Trump is planning to remove the electric car "mandate" and end the $7,500 tax credit for EV buyers, the California governor has plans to offer his own version of the credit.

Portal/NIL--The end of honest college sports?-----Marshall Football Team May Face Punishment for Withdrawing from Bowl Game

College Football Team May Face Punishment for Withdrawing from Bowl Game - Athlon Sports - MICHAEL GALLAGHER
If that weren’t enough, the Marshall Thundering Herd recently withdrew from the Independence Bowl against Army on Dec. 28 because they’ve lost a reported 25 players to the transfer portal since losing head coach Charles Huff to Southern Miss...
But American Athletic Conference commissioner Tim Pernetti...“… We should consider legislation that requires programs that accept invitations and commit to bowl games to play the games or be subject to consequences for the impact it has on their opponent.”...
After Marshall’s withdrawal, Louisiana Tech (5-7) stepped in as its Independence Bowl replacement against Army (11-2).
While teams are required to have at least six wins for bowl eligibility; however, extenuating circumstances such as this allow certain five-win teams to step in and play in a bowl.

All enthusiastically spread by the liberal media!

Compelling!-----Veteran Journalist Dismantles Liberal Case Against Trump’s Deportation Plans: ‘It’s Easier Than You Think’

“Too many analysts [whom he refers to as deportation deniers] have confused what they want to be true with what actually is true. - Elizabeth Stauffer
In a weekend op-ed published in The Kansas City Star, veteran journalist David Mastio pushed back hard against the naysayers who consider the plans “unrealistic” and say that “the effort will cost $1 trillion.”
He dismissed their arguments as “bunk” and systematically dismantled each of their so-called “myths” using facts and historical data...
  • The first is that it will cost too much...
  • The second myth is that “we don’t know who to deport.”...
  • The third myth is that mass deportations would violate individuals’ civil rights...
  • The final myth is that countries will refuse to accept their citizens back...
