The Left's Latest Villain - by Peter Venetoklis

As I ponder how Elon Musk rapidly morphed from a darling of the Left to a Bond villain in their eyes, it became obvious that several of Alinsky's aphorisms explained it all. - Peter Venetoklis
Half a century ago, community agitator Saul Alinsky penned his now infamous book Rules For Radicals...
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have...
5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule..
As I ponder how Elon Musk rapidly morphed from a darling of the Left (and in particular the Green caucus) to a Bond villain in their eyes, it became obvious that several of Alinsky's aphorisms explained it all.
  • Start with Rule 1. Twitter, at the height of its political influence, was dominated by perhaps 2% of the American population. By the numbers, at that time about 10% of Americans had a Twitter accounts and 80% of political Tweets (or was it all Tweets?) came from 20% of users. Despite that population being a tiny fraction of the public, politicians, policy makers, and Corporate America cowered in fear of the Twitter mob's Eye of Sauron looking their way. Cancel culture scared the bejeezus out of the most powerful people in our society, no matter how small a minority the cancelers were. Thus, "power the enemy thinks you have."
  • This segues into Rule 5. Ridicule, especially when inflected with hate, was the Twitter mob's weapon of choice...

'Pardons for me, no justice for thee': Biden vetoes bill that would have let Trump nominate much-needed judges | Blaze Media

'Pardons for me, no justice for thee': Biden vetoes bill that would have let Trump nominate much-needed judges | Blaze Media

President Joe Biden appears keen to maximize consequential, controversial, and costly decisions in his final days as president.

Following President-elect Donald Trump's landslide victory last month, Biden and his administration undermined the Republican's goal of peace in Ukraine and risked turning America's proxy war with Russia into a direct nuclear conflict with the authorization of use of long-range American missiles; took steps to "Trump-proof" the federal bureaucracy; gave his felonious son Hunter Biden an "unconditional" blanket pardon and commuted the sentences of child-killers, grifters, and other loathsome convicts; rushed through DEI-satisfying judges; and set high-reaching greenhouse gas emission targets.

Par for the course, Biden — set to end his presidency with a record-low approval rating — vetoed a bipartisan bill on Monday that would have created 66 new judicial seats in the coming years in understaffed federal courts across the country.

C3: Hydrogen Hype: Unpacking the Challenges and Risks of a Controversial Energy Alternative

Does hydrogen really deserve all the hype as the next best green energy source or is it just another green-unicorn to dupe the masses?
The concerns about Green Hydrogen: Green hydrogen, often touted as a clean energy source, presents significant risks that cannot be overlooked.
  • Its propensity to explode when not handled properly raises serious safety concerns.
  • Additionally, its higher combustion temperature can lead to the production of nitrogen dioxide - it is speculated that nitrogen dioxide potentially produces 37-times more warming than CO2.
  • This pollutant also has been linked to serious health issues, including childhood asthma, making the promotion of hydrogen as a green alternative questionable...

"Kamala: "I grew up celebrating Kwanzaa"

Kwanzaa was invented in 1966 by Marxist professor Maulana Karenga to undermine Christmas, 2 years after Harris was born.

  • 5 years later he was jailed for kidnapping, torturing innocent women in California.
  • Karenga also founded the United Slaves Organization, a violent black nationalist organization with ties to the FBI.

The truth about Christmas: Debunking the pagan origin myth once and for all | Blaze Media

Christmas is a much-beloved holiday, celebrated by billions of people across the globe. In the U.S. alone, the Pew Research Center reports that nearly 96% of the population celebrates Christmas, including eight out of 10 non-Christians like atheists, agnostics, and those who have no faith commitment. However, Christmas is also a uniquely Christian holiday; its core message is about a personal God taking humanity upon himself and stepping into the world to redeem sinful human beings who could never redeem themselves. The Christian message is inescapable.

Global Warming Rope-A-Dope - Walter E. Williams - 2008!

Americans have been rope-a-doped into believing that global warming is going to destroy our planet.
Scientists who have been skeptical about manmade global warming have been called traitors or handmaidens of big oil.
  • The Washington Post asserted on May 28, 2006 that there were only “a handful of skeptics” of manmade climate fears. Bill Blakemore on Aug. 30, 2006 said, “After extensive searches, ABC News has found no such (scientific) debate on global warming.”
  • U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change Executive Secretary Yvo de Boer said it was “criminally irresponsible” to ignore the urgency of global warming.
  • U.N. special climate envoy Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland on May 10, 2007 declared the climate debate “over” and added “it’s completely immoral, even, to question” the U.N.’s scientific “consensus.”
  • In July 23, 2007, CNN’s Miles O’Brien said, “The scientific debate is over.” Earlier he said that scientific skeptics of manmade catastrophic global warming “are bought and paid for by the fossil fuel industry, usually.”...

'An embarrassment': Trump's incoming border czar Tom Homan sees huge problem with Biden's new deportation numbers * WorldNetDaily * by Jason Hopkins, Daily Caller News Foundation

However, Homan argued that the deportation numbers from fiscal year 2024 are largely a result of illegal migrants caught by Border Patrol and simply transferred over to ICE — not removals of illegal migrants caught by ICE agents in the interior of the country.

"Most of those were Border Patrol arrests, just processed by ERO [Enforcement and Removal Operations]. This wasn't really ICE work, this was Border Patrol work," Homan said to the DCNF.

"Interior arrests are way down, this is an embarrassment for them," Homan explained.

If they tell us the truth, they lose their funding!

MUST SEE: Elon Drops Powerful Video of Reagan That Is True Now More Than Ever

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy being in charge of the incoming Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is perhaps one of the most exciting ideas from President-elect Donald Trump. - Nick Arama
  • Through it, you could have a true change in government.
  • That's likely one of the reasons that the powers that be are fighting to separate Musk and Trump, and back him out of the equation.
  • They're afraid of free media and they're afraid of the change this could bring to government.
Javier Milei has shown what can be done. He's turned a deficit into a surplus for the first time in more than 100 years in their country, and in such a short time in office.
  • It may take a little longer for us, but how do you do it?
  • With commitment, will and afuera!
Musk cited remarks from Ronald Reagan from 1975, before he was president. But it's all kinds of sense when it comes to tax policy as he explains that even then the government was taking about half of what Americans earn. Reagan spoke out against taxes on businesses that the left pushes but then end up landing on the people.
  • "We oughta have tax reform, and we oughta start by making it so simple you don't have to hire a lawyer to figure out how much you owe every year," Reagan said.
  • "We live in the only country in the world where it takes more brains to figure out your income tax than it does to earn the income," he quipped.
  • "There's very little that government can do as efficiently and economically that people can't do themselves. And If government would shut the doors and sneak away for three weeks, we'd never miss 'em."...

Remember when they called it "global WARMING!". And promised that giving money to politicians would stop any climate change??!!

Ironic: Journalist Manipulates Data in Order to Portray Media Distrust As a Republican Problem

Kevin Drum, former writer for Mother Jones... one of way too many journalists whose mission seems to be to persuade by any means necessary rather than inform. - Gordon K
Pretty clear picture of how Republicans, as opposed to Americans (weird framing, but whatever) are actually the ones who mistrust mass media.
What can we conclude? Easy, right-wingers are unique in their false belief that media is untrustworthy. Case closed, right?
Not so fast. As a few people who pay attention to data noted, there's something missing.
Ah yes, independent voters...

'60 Minutes' helps Mexico blame US for gun violence but unwittingly make case against gun laws | Blaze Media

In an episode that aired Sunday, "60 Minutes" advanced the Mexican government's preferred line regarding its failure to clamp down on gang violence, smearing Americans as "the bad actors in this dynamic" — an allegation that the foreign nation has raised against U.S. gunmakers in a case that will be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court in February.

In the process of pinning Mexico's ills on America's Second Amendment, CBS News unwittingly helped make the argument that gun-control laws are ineffective in stopping violent crime.

It's time to get real help for the seriously mentally ill

Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres got it 100% right this month when he slammed progressives for their “perversion of compassion” in allowing vagrants to haunt our transit hubs and streets. - Post Editorial Board
  • Particularly those who are mentally ill and in need of help.
  • They make life miserable — and dangerous — for everyone. Including themselves.
Progressives think they’re being kind, considerate, compassionate to these troubled people...
Many of them truly believe they’re doing the moral thing by letting these people fester.
They’re horribly wrong...
