Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been telling those naughty Americans who are struggling to afford fuel for their older, gas-guzzling vehicles to just go get a brand-new electric vehicle like the Ford Mustang Mach-E (listed at a market average of $47,553 in Consumer Reports.)

Excellent advice!

The Aspen Times censors are literally crying about their new owner “censoring” them
"...The kids of Aspen City Council got involved too, as they do in everything.
I’m not being mean in characterizing them as kids – one is a tennis instructor with just one name (which might be one more name than he’s earned) and another is named “Skippy” (which might be exactly the name he’s earned).
These kids control a $200,000,000 city budget for this 7,000-person town.
Do the math – that means the city budget is about $30,000 per resident..."

How companies' Juneteenth celebrations are 'tone deaf' - CNN
"(CNN)Cherlisa Starks-Richardson was disappointed when she learned that the beloved children's museum in her community was selling a "watermelon salad" in celebration of Juneteenth.
...To make matters worse, she said, watermelon has historically been used as a racist trope against Black Americans.
"People were very offended by it," said Starks-Richardson, an educator in the Indianapolis area. "Everybody is trying to capitalize off Juneteenth to make money..."
The Indianapolis Children's Museum has since apologized and removed the salad from its food court.
...Other organizations and major retailers are also receiving backlash for their attempts to monetize Juneteenth with new products since President Joe Biden signed a bill declaring it a national holiday last year.
From the Indianapolis Children's Museum's watermelon salad to Walmart's swirled red velvet and cheesecake flavored ice cream to Dollar Tree's Pan African-themed plates and napkins, inclusion experts say corporations are missing the mark with Juneteenth...

Time to stop the Climate misinformation.
As the population rises, so should GHG emissions - but not so in the USA?
If indeed one believes that Climate Change is an existential threat, then it's time to acknowledge where the REAL problem lies.
We've MORE than done our job.

BIDEN ECONOMY: Kamala Harris Holds Presser to Celebrate Arrival of Baby Formula from Overseas
"This is how far down the Biden Administration has taken the USA.
This is absolutely pathetic.

Now after months of shortages, the Biden Administration reports that they have secured baby formula coming into the United States. Kamala Harris celebrated this event this morning..."

Republicans Beating Democrats in Most Important Area of All - Louder With Crowder

After Republicans scored a solid win in a primarily Hispanic congressional district earlier this week, the Democrats have to be shaking in their boots, biting their nails, and, in Pelosi's case, probably knocking back a few extra shots of the sauce (the good stuff she keeps from her wino husband). And after some new numbers have come to light, it might be about time for Democrats to start dusting off their resumes--as if anyone would actually want to hire any of these useless dolts.

Just for the purposes of keeping score, Tribe declared evidence supporting criminal charges of
He has now added attempted murder in an interview on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront.”
In addition to declaring former President Donald Trump clearly guilty of the attempt to murder Vice President Mike Pence on January 6, 2021, Tribe is again assuring viewers that “without any doubt, beyond a reasonable doubt, beyond any doubt, and the crimes are obvious.”
I guess there is no doubt.
There is also no compelling legal basis for the claim..."

Record high diesel prices threaten domino effect to other goods | National | thecentersquare.com
(The Center Square) – Record high diesel fuel prices are yet another driver of rising costs for Americans, and those costs could get even higher this year.
Diesel gas prices hit another record high Thursday at $5.79 per gallon, according to AAA.
That is a spike from $5.57 a month ago and much higher than the average of $3.22 the same time last year.
Diesel, though, is used to transport all kinds of goods, not just food.
Right now, businesses are paying more than ever to transport via diesel trucks while the market also deals with a truck driver shortage.
...Experts say higher energy costs will only make that worse if they remain elevated for an extended period of time..."
