Not!-----Gloomy 1970s predictions about Earth’s fate still hold true.

Gloomy%201970s%20predictions%20about%20Earth%u2019s%20fate%20still%20hold%20true:
  • Four decades ago, the Club of Rome predicted looming economic collapse in its iconic report The Limits to Growth. An update of the analysis sees much the same picture.
From a FB post about this idiotic article:
"So the sun is no longer providing the solar forcing driving temperatures on the planet?
So what is driving the hocus temperatures of the planet?
The Club of Rome!
1) They said the world would run out of oil.  That is not true.
Now they say burning energy is bad, which isn’t true either
2)  They said the world could not sustain economic prosperity at a level comparable to the 1970s.  That is not true.
The prosperity of Indo-Asian Countries is enormous, like no other time in history.  Even areas of the Middle East, under constant threat of war, have managed to prosper, while their neighbors go to war.  The economic engine is set at full speed.
Now they say that economic prosperity is unfair to the poor., which isn’t true either.
3)  They said that world hunger and poverty could not be solved without an entire collapse of civilization.  That is not true.
Poverty and hunger have been eradicated in most places outside the war torn infrastructure purposefully designed to destabilizing certain regions of the globe.
Now they say migration across international boundaries must be allowed to continue in an attempt to bring about the destruction and collapse of the very civilization that may eventually bring about the end of poverty and hunger.
What a shift in paradigm?"
