"... I must ask, which science?:
- The science based on the virtual world of computer simulations and computer-revised data bases,
- or the science based on real-world observations and laboratory experimentation, plus use of the original, unaltered data sets?
I'm old school....I live in a real world, not a virtual one.
I have lived in that real world long enough to have followed the proclamations of science during the 60s and 70s that an ice age was again upon us, so know science is susceptible to bandwagoning.
I put my trust in the empiricists, and find (shock) that as a general rule, their credentials in terms of professional achievement and awards are far superior to the virtualists.
And those scientists living in the real world are not finding any impending doom, other than from the rash political policies being imposed by our governments.
