"...The COVID-19 pandemic and its resulting toll on an overtaxed workforce, on labor prices, on supply chains and almost every aspect of health care operations has squeezed margins. 
Despite the receding pandemic, however, other issues including overseas conflicts, rising labor costs and disruptions to still-healing supply chains are keeping hospital systems largely in the red.
  • Across the U.S., hospital leaders are buckling in for a tight year for margins as costs for labor and supplies rise while compensation on the insurance front no longer meets their needs.
