"Members of the Senate Energy and Environment Committee wanted answers for the thousands of DTE Energy and Consumers Energy customers who were left without power and heat for days after back-to-back ice storms last month.
“Many people in Michigan suffered greatly due to the effects of the recent ice storms, and we all know that it’s exceedingly frustrating to have these situations repeated and more frequently,” said committee chair Sen. Sean McCann, D-Kalamazoo.
