VIRAL VIDEO: Cop Goes Nuts When Driver Exercises His Constitutional Rights at Police Checkpoint:
"Did you know that the U.S. Constitution is the real  law of the land? Did you know that the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution protects us from “unreasonable searches and seizures,” protecting us from arbitrary searches for no reason?
Did you know that this applies to local matters as well? "

Obama: ‘This Is Not America’s Fight Alone’

Political Cartoons by Nate BeelerObama: ‘This Is Not America’s Fight Alone’ | TheBlaze.com:
"Seeking to downplay the image of America launching a new unilateral military mission, President Barack Obama said the first round of airstrikes in Syria against the Islamic State were done with a broad coalition of allies in the Middle East and asserted:
“This is not America’s fight alone.””"

Record number of Americans are losing the itch to get hitched

Record number of Americans are losing the itch to get hitched | Rare:
"In 2012, 20% of Americans (that’s 42 million Americans for those counting) 25 and older had never been married, which is up from 9% in 1960.
Broken down by gender, 23% of men and 17% of women have yet to tie the knot.
Wendy Wang and Kim Parker, the report’s authors, found that many prefer shacking up to having that white picket fence with three little boys and a dog named Skip."

Freshmen: Here Are the Friends and Values We Want You to Have

Freshmen: Here Are the Friends and Values We Want You to Have | Minding The Campus:
"At Delaware, the “community values” being pushed by the university were, for example, this version of anti-racism:
A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system.
The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality.

Fortunately, Chancellor Chopp’s ideas are more like Cass Sunstein–style “nudges” than like Delaware’s “treatment.”
In addition to requiring students to have roommates selected by the university, Chopp would support year-long “orientation programming,” perhaps mandatory, to ensure that students are having enough diversity in their contacts with others.
It may seem valuable, as Chancellor Chopp has put it, for colleges to be “cultivating social and intellectual skills in the context of community.
Let’s … think consciously about how students are developing their character and wisdom.”
But that sounds manipulative.
Asking freshmen to share a room with a roommate with a different background seems harmless. Guiding students toward values the college thinks they ought to have sounds too much like Big Brother."

The SEAL who was with him was shot once and died. Day, on the other hand, was shot an incredible 27 times and lived to tell his story, though he himself can’t believe it."

Feel-good story of the day!------IRAQI SUICIDE BOMB MAKER ACCIDENTALLY BLOWS HIMSELF UP ALONG WITH 22 STUDENTS

IRAQI SUICIDE BOMB MAKER ACCIDENTALLY BLOWS HIMSELF UP ALONG WITH 22 STUDENTS |:
"It was a day like no other at the ISIS school of suicide bombers where a man was teaching a group of around 50 students how to make a suicide vest.
All of a sudden, the teacher accidentally set off the bomb killing himself and 21 students as well as injuring another 15.
An Iraqi Army officer explains that the teacher, whose name is being withheld, has been confirmed, “as a recruiter of young militants.”
The officer went on to share his ecstatic mindset saying that the man was finally, “able to kill the bad guys for once.”"

LIBERTY REVIEW

LIBERTY REVIEW:

http://www.libertyreview76.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-road-block-by-tammy-derouin-last.html

Our freedoms and our sovereignty are disappearing.  Do you feel freedom has increased or decreased since the 2008 election?  How are your unalienable rights holding up?   Do you feel you can express your thoughts or beliefs without fear of retribution from the government?  Has this administration strengthened our military, supported our allies and protected our borders?  Do you feel the president has the best interests of the American people in mind or do you feel like we the people, are the road block?

School Accused of ‘Purging’ Christian Books

School Accused of ‘Purging’ Christian Books:
"It’s hard to imagine that any school would have a problem with a book about a Christian family that helped Jews escape the Holocaust.
But Springs Charter Schools in Temecula, Calif., not only had a problem with “The Hiding Place,” they also took issue with any other book that was written by a Christian author or included a Christian message."

New Study on the Cause of Global Warming Might ‘Take People by Surprise’

New Study on the Cause of Global Warming Might ‘Take People by Surprise’ | TheBlaze.com:
"A new study suggests that the warming trend on the West Coast over the last century was not caused by human activity but more so by a change in the winds."
It's all about control.
They can't control the climate but they will control the humans. When did we become so gullible?

Union Bullying Members is Shedding Them: Over 500 People Leave Operating Engineers

Union Bullying Members is Shedding Them: Over 500 People Leave Operating Engineers [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"An official from a Michigan union that bullied members who opted out under the state's right-to-work law by printing their names in its online newsletter is now saying they have had to abandon local public school bargaining units for lack of support.
In its winter 2013 newsletter, Operating Engineers Local 324 used the derogatory term “freeloaders” to identify 19 members who had opted out of the union under the right-to-work law.
At that time, Business Manager Doug Stockwell said the union had “weathered the storm” with right-to-work.
Michigan Capitol Confidential broke that story and it went on to receive national media attention.
By the summer of 2014, that list of “freeloaders” had grown to 503 members.
And Stockwell’s tone had changed.
Now, the union official talked about “walking away” from public school bargaining units that simply no longer wanted to support their union."

Obama Urges World to Follow U.S. Lead on Climate Change

Obama Urges World to Follow U.S. Lead on Climate Change | TheBlaze.com:
"UNITED NATIONS (AP) — In the first international test for his climate-change strategy, President Barack Obama pressed world leaders Tuesday to follow the United States’ lead on the issue, even as a United Nations summit revealed the many obstacles that still stand in the way of wider agreements to reduce heat-trapping pollution.
The United States has made ambitious investments in clean energy and ambitious reductions in our carbon emissions,” Obama said. “Today I call on all countries to join us, not next year or the year after that, but right now. Because no nation can meet this global threat alone.”"

Nebraska environmentalist starts petition to stop release of Husker balloons

Nebraska environmentalist starts petition to stop release of Husker balloons « Watchdog.org: "LINCOLN, Neb. – A Nebraska environmentalist has started a petition on change.org urging University of Nebraska officials to end the tradition of releasing thousands of red Husker balloons after the first touchdown of every Husker football game.
“Releasing balloons to celebrate the first touchdown at Husker football games is nothing short of mass littering — punishable by fines most everywhere else — and the practice kills wildlife while polluting Nebraska and states thousands of miles away,” petition promoter Benjamin Vogt wrote on his blog Tuesday.
“This is not a tradition worth keeping if we love Nebraska, our home.”
Vogt teaches English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and owns a native plant garden coaching and design business....."

POLITICO: Lois Lerner is the REAL Victim of the IRS Scandal

POLITICO: Lois Lerner is the REAL Victim of the IRS Scandal:
"Breitbart’s John Nolte beautifully summed up the situation:
It’s a hard knock life for Democrats who oversee a federal agency that tied a sitting president’s political enemies up in knots during an election year.
Imagine how much better our country and government would be if the media’s Politicos put as much effort into pressuring the IRS to cough up those emails as they do playing Oprah for a corrupt federal bureaucrat…
Every hard-earned gain for civil rights in this country has been about one thing: equal protection under the law by our government. This fundamental protection under our Constitution is what the IRS violated. If Lerner had targeted for partisan purposes black, gay, and Hispanic groups — well, let’s just leave it at…

Democrats sure got it good.

Shame on Politico for taking part in advancing this outrageous fiction."

Blackwater founder: We could have fought ISIS if Obama hadn't 'crushed my old business'

Blackwater founder: We could have fought ISIS if Obama hadn't 'crushed my old business' | The Daily Sheeple:
“It’s a shame the [Obama] administration crushed my old business, because as a private organization, we could’ve solved the boots-on-the-ground issue, we could have had contracts from people that want to go there as contractors; you don’t have the argument of US active duty going back in there,” Prince said during the discussion with retired four-star Gen. James Conway. “[They could have] gone in there and done it, and be done, and not have a long, protracted political mess that I predict will ensue.”
Nearly two weeks ago, President Obama said the US would conduct airstrikes and “hunt down” the fighters of the Islamic State jihadist group in Iraq, Syria, and “wherever they exist.”
Washington has promised $500 million to so-called “moderate” Syrian rebels for fighting both the Syrian government and Islamic State militants.
While the US has also sent 1,600 “support force” troops to advise the Iraqi military in the fight against Islamic State,
Obama has stressed - despite contradicting sentiments from Pentagon officials – that ground troops will not be necessary during the latest offensive.

Deval Patrick says brother-in-law’s sex offender classification was factor in firings

Deval Patrick says brother-in-law’s sex offender classification was factor in firings | Boston Herald: "Gov. Deval Patrick finally broke a week of silence yesterday and said he fired the head of the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board and put its executive director on leave in part because they tried to pressure a hearing officer to list the governor’s brother-in-law as a sex offender.
Patrick said the move to list Bernard Sigh — who was convicted of raping the governor’s sister — as a sex offender “involved some inappropriate at least, maybe unlawful pressuring by the chair and the executive director of a hearing officer to change an outcome of a case.”
In discussing the reasons he terminated Saundra Edwards, the registry board chairwoman, however, Patrick also revealed for the first time a 2008 whistle-blower lawsuit by the hearing officer who ruled that Sigh should not be listed as a sex offender.
...“Not every execution needs to be in public,” Patrick said yesterday."

California's Environmentalists are Threatening to Put an End to Hunting

no huntingCalifornia's Environmentalists are Threatening to Put an End to Hunting | The Daily Sheeple: "In August of 2013, Governor Jerry Brown was handed a stack of gun control laws, compliments of the state legislature.
While many were vetoed, the governor did sign AB-711  into law.
This piece of legislation would outlaw the use of lead ammunition for hunting anywhere in the state, effective January of 2019.
The law is essentially an update from a previous lead ammunition ban designed to help save the California Condor.
However, many fear that this could effectively ban hunting across the state."

I'm thinkin' he's not gonna use the Obama family checkbook........Obama Offers Climate Change Help to Other Nations

Obama Offers Climate Change Help to Other Nations - ABC News:
"President Barack Obama is pledging new U.S. help for other nations struggling to address global warming, as heads of state from around the world converge for a major summit on climate change.
Obama will use his speech at a U.N. summit Tuesday to announce plans to sign an executive order requiring the U.S. government to take climate change into account when it spends money overseas to help poorer countries, the White House said.
The U.S. will also offer vulnerable communities abroad new tools to address the effects of climate change through science and technology.
The measures join a host of commitments Obama will announce at the summit, where more than 120 world leaders will gather on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly to galvanize support for a global climate treaty to be finalized next year in Paris.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the summit's host, is expecting leaders to come with specific pledges in hand to mitigate climate change, as a way to show they're serious about ambitious emissions reductions in the treaty."
