Ted Cruz CALLS FOR END to Syrian refugee resettlement to America after #Paris TERROR ATTACK » The Right Scoop -

Ted Cruz CALLS FOR END to Syrian refugee resettlement to America after #Paris TERROR ATTACK » The Right Scoop -:

"Even as chaos rages in Paris, we need to take immediate, commonsense steps to preserve our own safety. We need to consult closely with our NATO allies who may be targeted for additional attacks. We need to immediately declare a halt to any plans to bring refugees that may have been infiltrated by ISIS to the United States. We need to redouble our efforts to prevent ISIS agents from penetrating our nation by other means."

Islamic State Claims Responsibility for Paris Terrorist Attacks | TheBlaze.com:

"CAIRO (TheBlaze/AP) — The Islamic State group on Saturday reportedly claimed responsibility for a wave of attacks in Paris that killed 127 people and said France would remain at the “top of the list” of its targets.

An online statement said eight militants armed with explosive belts and automatic weapons attacked carefully chosen targets in the “capital of adultery and vice,” including a soccer stadium where France was playing Germany, and the Bataclan concert hall, where an American rock band was playing, and “hundreds of apostates were attending an adulterous party.”

Why an Obama Executive Action Closing Gitmo Might Be Tough to Stop | TheBlaze.com:

“If they are going to close down Gitmo, these people are going to have to go Illinois or go to South Carolina,” Adams said, referring to the Naval brig in South Carolina and a federal prison in Illinois. “That’s where the Gitmo detainees are going to go. If that happens, it will be a done deal, and knowing Obama, he’ll just do it because he doesn’t really care about the law or the process. This is so core to his presidency that he’ll do something radical.”

On his first full day in office, Obama signed an executive order to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center within a year. But even the Democrat-controlled Congress blocked this action during his first two years."

America’s real drug problem not what people think

America’s real drug problem not what people think:
"America has a huge drug problem, which bestselling author David Kupelian explored in a recent viral column.
But the biggest drug problem of all, he says, may not be with illegal drugs.
“The legal drug world of psychiatry and psych meds and the illegal drug world of heroin and crack,” he says, “they’re not as different as we like to think.”
Discussing his popular new book, “The Snapping of the American Mind,” during a recent appearance on The Dove TV’s “Focus Today,” Kupelian bluntly summarized the increasing convergence of the legal and illegal drug worlds:
“It’s basically people that are hurting, [who are] taking, in many cases, the same drugs for the same reasons.
It’s just in one case they got it from a doctor, in another case they got it from a pusher.”
No matter how people acquire them, however, mind-altering drugs are being relied on by far too many Americans, Kupelian contends.

ObamaCare’s Failure Contagion - WSJ:
"The majority of ObamaCare’s insurance co-ops—12 of 23—have now folded, and their $1.24 billion in federal loans has all but vaporized.
More will fail, nearly a million Americans may lose coverage, and now the contagion from their failures is spreading.
The co-ops are government-sponsored nonprofits that were supposed to increase competition, but instead they’re causing the greatest insurance disruption in decades.
The co-ops aren’t merely jilting their displaced members or the taxpayers who supplied their “seed money.”
Local regulators are defying the feds to close them because other insurers are liable for their toxic balance sheets..."

CSUN: Reagan Library Like KKK CAMP

CSUN: Reagan Library Like KKK CAMP | The Daily Caller
A professor at California State University, Northridge is appealing a finding by school officials that he retaliated against students who complained of anti-gay and anti-women discrimination after they voluntarily attended an event concerning family issues at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for class credit.
The Cal State Northridge professor is Robert O. Lopez.
The taxpayer-funded university’s office of equity and diversity conducted a secret, 245-day investigation against Lopez, a tenured associate professor of English and classics.
When Lopez was finally presented with the secret charges against him, school officials permitted him to defend himself in an interview with Susan Hua, Cal State Northridge’s Title IX Coordinator.
On three occasions during the two-and-a-half hour interview, Hua compared voluntary attendance at a conference at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to appearing at a Ku Klux Klan camp, Lopez told The Daily Caller.
Throughout the duration of the interview,
Lopez also said, Hua did not permit him to see the actual complaint lodged against him or an official list of the charges he faced.
The Reagan Library conference occurred on Oct. 3, 2014.
It was entitled “Bonds that Matter” and featured speakers discussing family issues and the rights of children.
Lopez gave an assignment to the students who opted to attend the six-hour conference. The assignment involved creating family-related exhibits drawing on in-class readings about family obligations.
“You should not be commenting on present-day debates about children’s rights, rather giving an objective view of children and family,” Lopez explained in his syllabi.
...“It appears that the allegations against me can be summarized thus:
Because I did not warn women and gays not to attend the conference I organized, I caused them to come unprepared for dangerous ideas,” Lopez wrote in his defense this summer.
“In other words, the students allege the conference was sufficiently discriminatory against gays that they would have needed trigger warnings before going.”
...However, school officials then found the professor guilty of charges of retaliation — charges which Lopez says school officials only brought later.

Black student group vows bloodshed over Constitution

Black student group vows bloodshed over Constitution:

"A well-established black student coalition is calling for violence if the U.S. Constitution is not replaced with a version that serves “the interests of black people.”

Afrikan Black Coalition was created in 2003 to connect activists across the University of California system. It has gone from concentrating on the low admittance and retention rates of black students in California to developing leadership and communication skills for members.

The group posted an op-ed, “A New Constitution or the Bullet,” Nov. 4 against a backdrop of racial tension at campuses across the U.S."

Missouri Confirms It: US Campuses Are Sliding into PC Chaos

Missouri Confirms It: US Campuses Are Sliding into PC Chaos - Breitbart:
"November 2015 may well prove a tipping point in the college campus descent into politically correct chaos.
Yesterday, I described the rise of emotionally incontinent, Maoist-style mobs at Yale, screeching at a professor who refused to apologise over… something to do with Halloween costumes.
Now we learn that a football team at the University of Missouri has taken the unprecedented step of boycotting future games until their concerns about alleged campus racism are addressed, and the university president has resigned over his supposed “white privilege.”
There’s even a hunger strike involved.
Unlike Yale, where outrage was generated over dressing-up boxes, students at the University of Missouri have alleged that more serious incidents took place.
The African-American student government president claims that in September, he was on the receiving end of racial slurs from people driving a passing pick-up truck.
Other black students have also reported racial slurs, and, more recently, a “poop swastika” was found smeared across a campus bathroom.
The swastika thing is just an allegation, of course — and anonymous swastikas on campus do have an unfortunate history of turning out to be hoaxes.
There have been a lot of campus hoaxes involving black students, of course – though for the sake of politeness you’re not supposed to say so.
Normally it involves students who have been ginned up by race hustlers.
The most notorious case involved fake rape allegations from Tawana Brawley.
What’s remarkable about Missouri is that mere allegations have been enough to topple a college leader.
You see, when you start telling students that their feelings and their “lived experience” is more important than facts, it follows that they will consider their own aggravated sense of personal victimhood sufficient grounds for the resignation of college staff....

Junk science!-----The Climate Agenda Behind the Bacon Scare

The Climate Agenda Behind the Bacon Scare - WSJ:
Headlines blaring that processed and red meat causes cancer have made this steak-and-bacon-loving nation collectively reach for the Rolaids. Vegans are in full party mode, and the media is in a feeding frenzy. But there is more to this story than meets the (rib)eye.
With United Nations climate talks beginning in a few weeks in Paris, the cancer warning seems particularly well timed.
Environmental activists have long sought to tie food to the fight against global warming.
Now the doomsayers who want to take on modern agriculture, a considerable source of greenhouse-gas emissions, can employ an additional scare tactic:
Meat production sickens the planet; meat consumption sickens people.
Late last month, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)—part of the World Health Organization, an arm of the U.N.—concluded that red meat, like beef and pork, is “probably carcinogenic” to humans, and that processed meat is an even greater cancer threat.
The IARC placed foods like bacon, sausage and hot dogs in the same carcinogen category as cigarettes and plutonium.
The working group assessed “more than 800 epidemiological studies that investigated the association of cancer with consumption of red meat or processed meat in many countries.”
But support for the IARC’s sweeping conclusion is flimsy at best.
First, the report largely addresses only one cancer—colorectal—while making passing mention of other cancers, like stomach and prostate.
Yet the evidence linking red meat and colorectal cancer is unconvincing.
Read on. Junk science will kill us faster than anything we eat!

Feel-good video of the day-----Jihadist Was Mid-Interview When A Mortar Shell Landed On Him

Jihadist Was Mid-Interview When A Mortar Shell Landed On Him | The Daily Caller:
Newly released footage from the war in Syria shows what appears to be a Jihadist receiving an unexpected surprise in the form of a mortar shell while giving an interview on camera.
The whistling artillery strike, which hit the Jihadist right in the middle of an interview while in Tall Sukayk, Syria, apparently came from the Syrian Arab Army.
Also hit and killed by the strike was Syrian media activist Ahmed Abu Hamza, who was filming the interview.
More than 250,000 Syrians have died during the civil war, which has now continued for four-and-a-half years. The Islamic State has taken advantage of extreme instability by making deep incursions into northern and eastern Syria, as well as parts of Iraq. While the U.S.-led coalition has conducted airstrikes on ISIS since last year to help Kurdish forces push back against invading forces in Kobane, ISIS still remains a formidable force.
The strikes are carefully calculated, as the U.S. does not want to hit any of the rebels, who are intent on taking down Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Fragile Snowflakes or Manipulative Narcissists?

Fragile Snowflakes or Manipulative Narcissists? | Intellectual Takeout:
"At the same time some students are flexing their political muscles (with the help of some professors) at the University of Missouri, Yale, and other schools demanding “safe space”, we’re treated to an increasing number of stories about the lack of resilience and overall fragility of many college students.
Quite honestly, the psychology of it all is fascinating, but deeply worrisome when you consider we're all in this as a society.
So, what’s going on?
Peter Gray, Ph.D., a research professor at Boston College, recently wrote for Psychology Today about the issue.
“A year ago I received an invitation from the head of Counseling Services at a major university to join faculty and administrators for discussions about how to deal with the decline in resilience among students.
At the first meeting, we learned that emergency calls to Counseling had more than doubled over the past five years.
Students are increasingly seeking help for, and apparently having emotional crises over, problems of everyday life..."

Mark Levin Reacts to Paris Attack: Seal Our Borders, ‘Thank God for the Second Amendment’ - Breitbart:

"Levin argued what happened in Paris could happen here and called out a number of so-called “front groups” in the United States.

“You know ladies and gentlemen, I don’t know about you, but I am so sick and tired of politicians telling us we can’t control our border, we can’t determine who is coming into this country. I’m so sick of these ethnic front groups — groups like CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood-associated groups in this country pretending to be civil rights groups and using our laws against us and using our freedom against us. I’m so sick of it.”

“What is going on in France is going to happen here — I truly believe it,” he continued."
