Angelina Jolie and George and Amal Clooney have EIGHT houses between them

Monument: Jolie and Pitt renovated this £35million château in Brignoles, Provence in the south of FranceAngelina Jolie and George and Amal Clooney have EIGHT houses between them | Daily Mail Online:
How many houses do Angelina Jolie and George and Amal Clooney have between them? EIGHT.
And how many refugees do they house?
NONE
  1. Angelina Jolie and George and Amal Clooney all vocal on the refugee crisis
  2. Jolie held press conference from camp and Clooneys filmed with migrants
  3. Couple own five homes across globe while Jolie and Brad Pitt have three
  4. But none of have refugees in them despite the celebrities' passionate pleas

  5. Whether it was staging a press conference from a refugee camp or being filmed comparing their life to the plight of migrants, both Angelia Jolie and George Clooney made sure their voices were heard.
America has 'forgotten who we are', Clooney told a group of Syrian families in front of the camera, as the actor and wife Amal revealed their anger at his country's failure to tackle the migrant crisis.
The international community must do more, a drenched Jolie demanded as she braved the driving rain in Lebanon. In an impassioned plea, she went on to attack the 'tragic' failure to resolve the Syrian war which has forced millions to flee their homes.
But despite their vocal views on Europe's worst refugee crisis since the Second World War - announced to a global audience - both the Clooneys and Jolie are much more reticent when it comes to revealing what they personally are doing to help..."

Blinding Bling

By Tammy Derouin

How many votes does it take to vote away our freedom?  We are getting dangerously close to the answer.  For the 2008 presidential election, the American people made a terrible mistake.  We ignored that little voice which was trying to tell us that something wasn’t right.  We didn’t question statements or look at the directions being put before us.  When questions went unanswered or answers didn’t make sense, we didn’t demand an explanation.

We put the future of our country into the hands of an individual who was virtually unknown and had a lack luster career.  His unchecked background would eventually prove that we had plenty of reasons for concern.  Would we have hired him to guide us had we checked into his background more thoroughly?

The nation spoke.  Our country decided to follow an inexperienced travel guide.  As time passed, his intelligence was called into question.  Was he really so naïve?  Did he truly not grasp the seriousness of many situations and the potential consequences?  He wouldn’t intentionally steer us in the wrong direction, side with our enemy or deliver our nation into their hands, would he?

We took a wrong turn, got terribly lost and suffered some long term damage.  The damage was repairable but it would take some time to recover.  The evidence was transparently clear.  Our guide put us all at great risk.  He showed no sign of ending his quest to destroy us and everything we cherished.  We needed to eject him before he drove us off a cliff.

The time had come, with red flags flying everywhere, a new guide needed to emerge. What happened?  The reckless, destructive leader managed to distract the majority of the passengers.  Even with evidence mounting right outside their windows, the lies and deceit were concealed in blinding bling......

Garland comes in with a mixed record and will likely face scrutiny from Republicans about his stance on the Second Amendment."

Students hit by chemical spray during incident at Detroit Central:
"More than a dozen students were arrested after numerous fights broke out Tuesday afternoon at Detroit’s Central Collegiate Academy as police responded to a false fire alarm at the school, according to sources.
...Principal David Oclander said a disturbance broke out as students returned to the building after evacuating because of a fire alarm.
At some point, Detroit Public Schools Police officers, who provide security at the state operated high school, used “crowd control devices,” as Oclander put it.
Oclander referred all other comment to school district police, who could not be reached immediately on Tuesday afternoon.
Detroit city police confirmed it had officers at the school, which is operated by the state-run Education Achievement Authority, but could not provide any more details.
...More than a dozen city and school district police vehicles were reported at the scene..."

Serrano-Vitorino’s case involved a series of errors that kept him from being detained by federal immigration authorities, and from facing another deportation last year when he should have been removed from the country.
...Last week, Serrano-Vitorino was charged with four counts of first-degree murder for a shooting in Kansas City, Kan. Serrano-Vitorino was also charged with murder in the death of a fifth man in a separate shooting across the Kansas border in Missouri. H.R. 347, which updated existing protest regulations in 2011, makes it a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison to “impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of government business or official functions” — and that applies to a candidate if they’re under Secret Service guard..."

Protesters Violently Riot Over Protected Political Speech

Protesters Violently Riot Over Protected Political Speech :: IPT in the News :: The Investigative Project on Terrorism:
Voltaire – to whom variations on the quote "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" are attributed – is spinning in his grave after the events of the past weekend.
Protesters forced the cancellation or violently disrupted rallies organized by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, as the level of political discourse continues deteriorating over the 2016 election cycle.
Ugly rhetoric is not limited to one party.
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has provided his own incendiary comments by routinely targeting the "greed, fraud, dishonesty and arrogance" of Wall Street bankers.
It more befitted the goon squads of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad or dictatorial strongman Vladimir Putin than citizens of a country founded by the principle that freedom of speech is the most fundamental freedom in the world.
A principle that distinguishes fascist states from democracies.
Such activities in the U.S. are unfortunately nothing new.
For years we and many others have been accosted and heckled on college campuses around the country, most recently by Brown University students and clergy just three weeks ago over views concerning balancing accepting Syrian refugees with U.S. national security.
In 2010 Muslim students carefully plotted a heckling campaign for a lecture by the Israeli ambassador at University of California, Irvine because he represented the policies of the Jewish state.
To make matters worse, various national well-heeled political organizations allied with the Democratic Party actually encourage and support such conduct.
The George Soros-funded MoveOn.org Political Action not only credited itself for the violence in Chicago, but promises more.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) supported the 11 students who obstructed the Israeli ambassador from speaking. CAIR stated: "Delivering this message in a loud and shocking manner ... falls within the purview of protected speech."
MPAC added "These students had the courage and conscience to stand up against aggression."
The trademark of Code Pink and Black Lives Matter is to disrupt congressional hearings, public events and speeches by political candidates, even those on the left.
They argue that nasty heckling is constitutionally protected.
Well, no, their behavior is not a constitutional right if they are suppressing the ability of others to voice an opinion.

Farming, not fracking, likely causing methane levels to rise, study finds

Farming, not fracking, likely causing methane levels to rise, study finds - Washington Times
A newly released international study finds that farming, not fracking, is the likely culprit behind rising global methane levels, undermining the Obama administration’s crackdown on methane from oil-and-gas production in the name of climate change.
The research published Friday in the journal Science came a day after President Obama unveiled a pact aimed at cutting methane emissions from oil-and-gas producers by 40 to 45 percent from 2012 levels by 2025.
Hinrich Schaefer, an atmospheric scientist at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research in Wellington, New Zealand, and the lead author of the research team, called the results “a real surprise.”
“That was a real surprise, because at that time the US started fracking and we also know that the economy in Asia picked up again, and coal mining increased.
However, that is not reflected in the atmosphere,” Mr. Schaefer told the website Phys.org.
He said agricultural practices are the likely reason for the spike of methane, or CH4, in the atmosphere since 2007, not fossil fuels, as many have assumed.
“Our data indicate that the source of the increase was methane produced by bacteria, of which the most likely sources are natural, such as wetlands or agricultural, for example from rice paddies or livestock,” Mr. Schaefer said.
The study was conducted by a team of scientists from New Zealand and Germany as well as U.S. researchers from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado.
“The finding of a primarily biogenic post-2006 increase [in methane] is robust.
Further, it seems like that fossil-fuel emissions stagnated or diminished in the 1990s.
Importantly, they are a minor contributor to the renewed [CH4]-rise,” said the article.
The “most probably causes” of the methane spike are “either food production or climate-sensitive natural emissions,” the study concluded..."

YET ANOTHER Gay Hate Crime Hoax

YET ANOTHER Gay Hate Crime Hoax | The Daily Caller
A gay Central Michigan University professor has pleaded guilty for falsely claiming that a random guy at a Toby Keith concert called her a “cross-dressing fag,” punched her in the face and spat on her.
The professor, Mari Poindexter, had alleged that the man approached her at the Aug. 19 concert at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, Mich., reports The Morning Sun, a local newspaper.
The man began hurling a rich tapestry of obscene slurs at Poindexter, she told police.
Later that night, the professor said, the same man ambushed her in the parking lot of The Cabin — a local bar.
The man thumped Poindexter in the eye, she said, and spat on her.
Poindexter, who announced her lesbianism three years ago and has since been passionate about it, later posted a Facebook photo of herself with an impressive black eye and a corresponding story of indignant outrage.
That post went viral and was reported by several news outlets.
Much pity ensued.
“We’re proud of you, Mari, for taking a stand,” taxpayer-funded Central Michigan University officials wrote on the school’s Facebook page. “CMU stands with you.”
Turns out, Poindexter got the shiner because she “punched herself in the eye,” according to local police.
Poindexter’s story began to unravel when police probed the incident.
Investigators sat down with her to review security footage from the bar to identify the man, court documents say.
Then, when the investigators informed Poindexter that there was also surveillance footage of the parking lot, she became anxious.
She said she was no longer interested in viewing any video which might incriminate her assailant.
...The tall tale Poindexter told is the latest in a long series of hate crime hoaxes perpetrated by gay people...
Lots of hateful hoaxes here.

"It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong." --- Richard P. Feynman.
From Heartland:
Climate scientist Daniel Alongi has been indicted by the Australian government on charges of defrauding taxpayers out of $556,000 in false expenses since 2008.
Alongi has already admitted to creating false invoices, credit card statements, and e-mails to cover his misappropriation of funds.
Alongi’s indictment raises serious questions concerning the credibility of his research.
During the period of Alongi’s alleged fraud, his research focusing on the impact of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef, coastal mangroves, and coastal ecosystems was published in numerous national and international journals.
Meteorologist Anthony Watts said in a post on his popular climate website Watts Up With That he’s concerned Alongi may have falsified scientific findings to justify his expenses.
Alongi has published 140 scientific publications and his work has been cited 5,861 times by other researchers.
“If Alongi falsely claimed to have spent half a million dollars on radioisotope testing, it would look pretty strange if he didn’t produce any false test results, to justify the expenditure of all that money,” wrote Watts..."

Chicago Cop: Anti-Trump Mob More Aggressive and Destructive than Reported

Chicago Cop: Anti-Trump Mob More Aggressive and Destructive than Reported - Breitbart:
The protests launched by militant leftists who shut down Donald Trump’s Chicago rally were far more aggressive and destructive than reported, says a Chicago Police officer.
“It seems the [media] aren’t broadcasting footage of the debris being thrown across Harrison by Sanders/Hillary supporters at Trump fans,” the officer wrote shortly after the canceled Trump event.
The officer, who posed anonymously on the Second City Cop blog, also noted the media didn’t report that protesters were running through parking lots and breaking windows of cars with Trump stickers on them, or that the department called out emergency Incident Teams to cope with the anti-Trump riot at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Later that same day the officer posted a second, much longer post, to detail the failures of the police leaders to plan for and respond to the protests.
The officer insisted there was “pretty much zero in terms of a unified Command Post” for the event, and that officers had no central command to report to or coordinate response from.
“Who wrote this plan?” the officer wrote. “
We’ve seen and heard reports that UIC was woefully unprepared for this..."
