VIDEO: Students say Obama immigration quote racist…when they think it’s from Trump

  • Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips traveled to Georgetown University to ask students about a president's statements regarding illegal immigration and deportation.
  • The students assumed the statements were from President Donald Trump but they were actually from Obama.

...“I didn’t expect it to be Obama… it never occurred to me that it could be him.”
...Proponents of the move pointed out this week that President Barack Obama gave his support to the same policy when he was in office and bragged of deportations of criminals having increased 80 percent during his tenure.

9th Circuit rules in favor of Trump administration in 'sanctuary city' case

9th Circuit rules in favor of Trump administration in 'sanctuary city' case:

Image result for flickr commons images president trumpA federal appeals court ruled in favor of President Trump's administration in a case involving federal dollars being withheld from cities based in part on their "sanctuary city" status.
The 2-1 opinion from a panel on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a nationwide injunction issued by a federal judge, who sided the city of Los Angeles in its lawsuit over Community Oriented Policing Services grants, which are determined by a point system that takes into account whether the city applying is a sanctuary city.
The Trump administration found Los Angeles did not qualify for the grant because it failed to receive enough points under 2017 rules put in place by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions, which gave cities extra points for cooperating with the federal immigration officials with illegal immigrants who have been detained in city jails.

America Is Losing Its Grip

America Is Losing Its Grip

  • Raising the American Weakling

"When she was a practicing occupational therapist, Elizabeth Fain started noticing something odd in her clinic: Her patients were weak.
More specifically, their grip strengths, recorded via a hand-held dynamometer, were “not anywhere close to the norms” that had been established back in the 1980s.
...the revelation seemed to encapsulate any number of smoldering fears in one handy conflagration:
vanderbilt_BR-babyhangThe loss of human potential in the face of automation, of our increasing time spent on smartphones and other devices, the erosion of our masculine norms, of the fragility and general shiftlessness of millennials.
...That message was reinforced by the sheer predictive power of grip strength.
In a study published in 2015 in The Lancet, the health outcomes of nearly 140,000 people across 17 countries were tracked over four years, via a variety of measures—including grip strength.
Grip strength was not only “inversely associated with all-cause mortality”—every 5 kilogram (kg) decrement in grip strength was associated with a 17 percent risk increase—but as the team, led by McMaster University professor of medicine Darryl Leong, noted: “Grip strength was a stronger predictor of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality than systolic blood pressure.”...

Looney left aiming for yer TP!!-----Charmin stop flushing nature down the toilet

See the source imageCharmin stop flushing nature down the toilet
"Charmin stop flushing nature down the toilet
Charmin is one of the most recognizable toilet paper brands in the world.
Its parent company, Procter & Gamble, prides itself on being "made from nature."
But Procter & Gamble isn’t telling you that Charmin is really flushing nature down the toilet.
Single-use tissue paper products like toilet paper and paper towels are heavily impacting primary forests.
These impacts are massive — nearly half of all pulp exported from Canada goes into single-use paper products like toilet paper and paper towels.
Charmin, one of the biggest toilet paper brands in the world, contains no recycled fiber.
That means that Charmin and its parent company, Procter & Gamble, are significant destroyers of the Canadian boreal forest, habitat to wildlife including the endangered woodland caribou.
Tell Charmin to stop cutting down forests for toilet paper and tissue products.
Add your name."

The progressive-socialist party has absorbed what is left of the old Democratic Party. Its iconoclasts are not satisfied with erasing the images or commemorations of old white public enemies of the past—Father Serra, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson—but have quite logically turned their identity politics venom on all old white people of the present, including some of their own left-wing brethren.

Facebook Bans St. Augustine Quote as 'Hate Speech'

Facebook Bans St. Augustine Quote as 'Hate Speech'
"The Director of Community Engagements for Massachusetts Citizens for Life claims that Facebook has labeled a quote by St. Augustine as hate speech.
In a blog post, Domenico Bettinelli wrote, "Facebook has repeatedly banned a quote from St. Augustine every time I’ve posted it.
And it’s not some fire and brimstone 'Sinners are going to hell!' quote, but in fact, quite the opposite."
Pulled from one of St. Augustine's homilies included in the Roman Catholic Church's official liturgical books, the offending quote is this:
Let us never assume that if we live good lives we will be without sin; our lives should be praised only when we continue to beg for pardon. But men are hopeless creatures, and the less they concentrate on their own sins, the more interested they become in the sins of others. They seek to criticize, not to correct. Unable to excuse themselves, they are ready to accuse others."

New Michigan legislation would allow local “Rain Tax”.

New Michigan legislation would allow local “Rain Tax”.
  • "Local governments would be be allowed to disguise taxes as "fees."
See the source imageLast session, Senate Bill 756, sponsored by Republican Marty Knollenberg, would have authorized local governments to impose a “rain tax” to fund municipal sewer projects and maintenance without a local vote.
The bill was an attempt to get around a Michigan Supreme Court ruling that such “fees” are taxes and require a local vote.
The taxes are based on how much rain falls on a property.
In cities, where the tax was attempted, bills were sent to small businesses for thousands of dollars.
...Empowering local governments to subvert the constitutional process for raising taxes, by disguising them as fees, undoes the hard work that has been done to improve Michigan’s business climate."

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a new rule Monday indicating that migrants who cross the southern border are not eligible for asylum unless they apply in the first safe country they enter.
The rule, which only applies to prospective claims and will be finalized Tuesday, would effectively torpedo the current flood of asylum seekers, which consists mainly of Central American migrants who cross through multiple countries before reaching the U.S.

Ice too thick to break through (almost 10 ft thick), and more massive than expected – in the middle of July.
15 July 2019 – The Norwegian icebreaker “Kronprins Haakon” (Crown Prince Haakon), on a mission to the North Pole for the Institute of Marine Research, was forced to turn back north of Svalbard after meeting considerably thicker and more massive ice masses than expected, which the vessel was not capable of breaking through.

We had expected more melting and that the ice was more disintegrating, says Captain Johnny Peder Hansen at “Crown Prince Haakon”.

Thick one-year ice combined with large batches of multi-year ice joined together into powerful helmets, and several of these are impenetrable to us, said Captain Johnny Peder Hansen..."
