A proposed California schools curriculum includes anti-Israel programming and also aims to teach students a one-sided view of police officers and police brutality.
The Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum, proposed by the California Department of Education, includes anti-Israel bias and aims to teach students about the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, a Palestinian-led anti-Israel initiative. The curriculum also has students study issues of police brutality and asks teachers to find incidents of bias by police in their own communities.

On several other occasions I would stare at a high rise being built and try to envision someone buying a flat on the 27th floor knowing that it was just a rough out sans plumbing and appliances and after a month the elevators would likely stop working.

When I saw the Ordos ghost city for the first time, I knew there was some batshit crazy process that had infected their psyches.
Almost a cargo cult mimicking of our real estate development without any sense of the idea that you build for a customer base that’s anxious and ready to buy what you are making.

In Beijing and I’m sure many other places they would go into a neighborhood of ancient brick hovels occupied for a millennium by peasants and clear it out like the razed neighborhoods in Detroit.

I think there was such a complete disconnect with everyone that they just imagined that they would magically move into the high rises.
And finally, I think someone here posted a link maybe a couple years ago of a couple of guys who were going around making videos of some of these developments and showing stuff like faux brick veneers sloughing off the exteriors before they were even finished.

"We conservatives tend to argue that “green” energy (wind and solar) is unreliable, inefficient, expensive, and virtually useless, even if we accept the climate change gospel*.
But the truth is worse than that.
Far from being well-intentioned, as most assume, “green” energy is the great corporate scam of our age.
And green energy is not kind to the Earth as school children are taught.
Rather, wind and solar are terrible for the environment.

Outrage Culture is the Left's latest attempt to end an argument they can't win. Leftism wrecks economies and endangers America's historically unique commitment to individual liberty. Since every leftist ideal from socialism to disarming the populace is a threat to our founding ideals, and since any open debate will expose that threat, the Left spends an inordinate amount of time inventing new strategies to try to force the opposition into silence.
Political correctness is such a strategy: If you don't use our words, you're evil. Calling people racist, white nationalist, white supremacist and Hitler — another strategy: as if the only possible reason you could want to enforce the rule of law at our borders is because you don't like brown people! Pretending to take jokes seriously is yet another strategy. And so on.
