Trump fires back at Gov. Whitmer for accusing him of being 'complicit' with militia allegedly plotting to kidnap her - TheBlaze

President Donald Trump fired back at Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) after she accused him of being "complicit" with white supremacists and militias like the one that allegedly plotted to kidnap her in an attack on the government.
The president took to his social media account on Thursday to respond to Whitmer's claims.

If they will silence them, will they silence you?

LinkedIn Goes Full Facebook: Declares War on AGW Skeptics | Watts Up With That?
"...Gregory Wrightstone is a fellow geologist, past president of the AAPG’s Eastern Section and author of INCONVENIENT FACTS: The science that Al Gore doesn’t want you to know.
This August 2018 article in the AAPG Explorer resulted in a veritable feud in the comments section. Many working geologists (like me) expressed support, while others (mostly academics) viscously attacked him and the AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) for publishing the article. Greg and I have become acquainted over the past couple of years through LinkedIn and email exchanges.
He has been the author or subject of a number of WUWT posts.
This morning, I received a rather unsettling email from Greg.
His LinkedIn account was suspended because LinkedIn “detected behavior that appears to violate our Terms of Service.”
It follows that up with:
For more details on the behavior that can result in restriction, see the “Do’s and Don’ts section of our User Agreement.
This all started a few weeks ago, when Greg wrote an article about polar bear populations.
The article was very well sourced and largely based on the work of Susan Crockford, one of the foremost polar bear experts in the world.
The article featured this image:
The graph accurately reflects the data, it is well sourced and properly attributed to the original author.
It merely points out that the hype about dwindling polar bear populations is nothing but hype.
After the article was taken down, Greg shared this meme on his LinkedIn page...Read all.

CDC says 6 percent of COVID-19 deaths solely from coronavirus - TheBlaze

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has published a report stating that just 6% of COVID-19 deaths listed the only cause of death as coronavirus and no other comorbidities.
"For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death," the CDC website reads.
Phil Kerpen, president of American Commitment, noticed the important information on the CDC's website on Aug. 6.

Facebook Threatens to De-platform Louder with Crowder Weeks Out from the Election - Louder With Crowder

Facebook Threatens to De-platform Louder with Crowder Weeks Out from the Election - Louder With Crowder

Less than one month out from a presidential election, Facebook is moving its queen in for a checkmate, targeting pages and groups it has deemed are "spreading misinformation," or "violating its community standards" as a reason to throttle those pages' reach. What that means is, websites like this, which offer counter opinions to what the leftist media has deemed "truth" aren't getting to you. It means if you or other organizations share stories, memes or direct status updates on your personal pages, you might also get throttled if not loose access to Facebook entirely. Before I dive into how Nazi-ish this behavior is, let me first provide recent examples of what Facebook is actively doing to the Steven Crowder Official Page. It's a long accounting which I've appropriately headlined for your skimming pleasure. If you'd rather just get to the call to action, scroll all the way to "What you can do." See. I just care so much about you.

Ohio State Prof Pens Hyperbolic Apology For His "Whiteness" After Suggesting College Football Could Unify The Nation | Zero Hedge
"...This week, Mayhew is writing a lengthy and possibly immensely hyperbolic apology for advocating for a sport that "places Black bodies at disproportional risk".
"I recently led a piece in Inside Higher Ed titled 'Why America Needs College Football.'
I am sorry for the hurt, sadness, frustration, fatigue, exhaustion and pain this article has caused anyone, but specifically Black students in the higher education community and beyond," Mayhew wrote in a part two, published in Inside Higher Ed.
He continued, in an apology that was dripping with so much emotion that Reason suggested it could be satirical:
I learned that I could have titled the piece "Why America Needs Black Athletes." I learned that Black men putting their bodies on the line for my enjoyment is inspired and maintained by my uninformed and disconnected whiteness and, as written in my previous article, positions student athletes as white property...
The New York Times, perhaps bewildered by whether or not Mayhew was being serious and confused as to what, exactly to be offended by the most, then came out and publicly criticized the apology, noting  that "such a dramatic public apology is obviously weird and bad."
"The obsequious tone of the groveling should be a red flag that there's something seriously awry with this mode of discussion," the Times wrote...Read all.

Kamala Harris: Joe Biden will Revoke Trump's Tax Cuts 'On Day One'
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) pledged on Wednesday that, if elected, a Biden administration would revoke President Donald Trump’s signature tax cuts “on day one.”
The California lawmaker made the pledge at the first and only vice presidential debate of the general election when asked if the Biden campaign’s pledge to raise taxes would hamper the economic recovery once the novel coronavirus pandemic has receded.

Washington Post Blames "Systemic Racism" for George Floyd Robbing a Latino Woman at Gunpoint | Frontpagemag
"The Washington Post took a shot at making its own version of the 1619 Project for George Floyd.
"Born with two strikes - How systemic racism shaped Floyd’s life and hobbled his ambition," the paper owned by the richest man in the world falsely claims.
Floyd, you see, wanted to be a Supreme Court justice.
But a racist country just kept arresting him for drugs, theft, and... armed robbery.
But the Post does its best to dance around that by writing about anything and everything except Floyd's crimes.
"Early in life, he wanted to be a Supreme Court justice.
Then, a pro athlete.
At the end, he just longed for a little stability, training to be a commercial truck driver."
...Did the Post speak to the Latino women he robbed?
One of them at gunpoint.
