“This suit is about those nine affidavits and the Michigan voters who signed them,” the lawsuit reads.
  • Four were not accepted by the board due to signatures not matching what’s on record in the state’s qualified voter file.
  • The other five were submitted after a procedural deadline that requires members of the public to submit information at least 48 hours before a board meeting.
