Purging the liberals, replacing them with power-mad dictators!-----ANNALS OF LEFTIST AUTOPHAGY: Why Matthew Yglesias Left Vox.
The journalist Matthew Yglesias, a co-founder of Vox, announced today that he is leaving that publication for the paid-newsletter platform Substack, so that he can enjoy more editorial independence.
...Like Andrew Sullivan, who joined Substack after parting ways with New York magazine, and Glenn Greenwald, who joined Substack after resigning from The Intercept, which he co-founded, Yglesias felt that he could no longer speak his mind without riling his colleagues...
Safetyism claims yet another scalp, just as it did during the Tom Cotton freakout at the New York Times this past summer, and at the Atlantic (where the above article appears), whose crybully staffers suffered a collective meltdown when Kevin Williamson was hired to write there.--Posted by Ed Driscoll...Read all!

This scam has got to stop!-----THE GRIFTERS: Tax filings reveal Biden cancer charity spent millions on salaries, zero on research.
FTA - "The Biden Cancer Initiative was founded in 2017 by the former vice president and his wife Jill Biden to “develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes,” according to its IRS mission statement. But it gave out no grants in its first two years, and spent millions on the salaries of former Washington DC aides it hired.
The charity took in $4,809,619 in contributions in fiscal years 2017 and 2018, and spent $3,070,301 on payroll in those two years. The group’s president, Gregory Simon, raked in $429,850 in fiscal 2018 (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019), according to the charity’s most recent federal tax filings."....

Doug Ross @ Journal: The New York Times' Pennsylvania Voting Data Seems to Confirm Massive and Obvious Vote Count Manipulation for Biden
"I've retrieved all of The New York Times' 2020 presidential datasets, which have a time-series of voting data from a company called Edison Research. Here, for instance, is Pennsylvania's.
What I found is pretty fascinating, especially in Pennsylvania.
As just one example, here is a graph depicting the shifts in votes starting on election day. The X-axis represents the change in votes (positive values represent shifts for Trump, negative values represent shifts for Biden.
May I call your attention to the differences between the left and the right sides of the graph?
Please note that after about 23:00 hours on 11/4/20 Zulu, virtually all vote swings went for Biden.
But you need to see the data. Below is a spreadsheet with the time-series...Read all!
The Futility of “Renewable” Energy in Two Easy Charts
Figure 1. US primary energy consumption (1949-2019). EIA“Renewable energy” includes hydroelectric, wind and solar power.
A quick look at this graph should tell anyone with at least two functioning synapses in their brain (the typical brain has trillions of synapses) that this is the dumbest thing ever said:
Democrat Joe Biden’s remark that he would “transition” away from oil in the U.S. in favor of renewable energy drew quick attention Thursday night from President Donald Trump, who saw it as a boon to his election chances in key states.
“I would transition away from the oil industry, yes,” Biden said in the presidential debate’s closing minutes under peppering from Trump. “The oil industry pollutes, significantly. … It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.”
AP
Despite an “investment” of about $380 billion from 2004-2015, “renewable” energy consumption only increased by 3.6 quadrillion BTU.
That’s $105.56 per million BTU (mmBTU).
The wellhead price for natural gas is currently around $3.30/mmBTU ...Read all!
