"LONG BEACH, Calif. - Two Kroger grocery stores in Long Beach are set permanently close on April 17 due to mandated raises, also known as the "hero pay" ordinance that was implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Fauci admits considering personal freedoms over COVID restrictions is 'very frustrating' - TheBlaze

While speaking with MSNBC host Joy Reid, Fauci suggested that personal freedoms should take a backseat to public health measures.

Reid asked Fauci, "Does it shock you, frustrate you, how do you feel when you are peppered with questions about, you know, restrictions and freedoms — and the dead, the 560,000 dead are not mentioned?"

Fauci told Reid that he finds it "very frustrating."

"Well, it's very frustrating, because, you know, as a public health official, I'm very much aware of this issue of COVID-19 fatigue, about people really being worn down and tired of the kinds of restrictions that we have when we do public health guidelines," Fauci said.

The $8T (and growing) Biden wants to spend on changing America forever

The $8T (and growing) Biden wants to spend on changing America forever
Eight trillion dollars. That’s how much President Joe Biden has proposed in new spending — in just the 2½ months since taking office. It’s an absurd figure, equal to more than a third of America’s entire yearly economic output.

And it’s overwhelmingly meant to transform the nation — to empower and enrich Democratic special interests, lock in permanent Democratic control and impose radical left-wing ideas.

Upper West Side is too white and Jewish: City Council candidate manager
"The campaign manager for an Upper West Side candidate for the City Council is in hot water for saying the neighborhood is too white — and Jewish.
Quinn Mootz, who is running Sara Lind’s council bid, is catching flak for her April 13 comments on Twitter, which have since been deleted — but not before critics took screen grabs.
...Mootz also also lambasted “sh–ty people” who refer to “homeless people as zombies and think anyone to the left of you is too woke. You f–king moron.”...Read all.

Purdue Researchers Created the Whitest White Paint Ever
"If you’ve ever redone a room in your house and gone to the hardware store to pick out some fresh paint, you know that there’s a lot of different shades of white on the market.
Turns out, there’s a new shade of white in town—and this one may have some pretty cool (literally) climate implications.
In a study published Thursday in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, researchers at Purdue University say they’ve now made the whitest paint on the planet.
In creating the whitest paint ever, which researchers say reflects up to 98.1% of light...Read all.

LA County sheriff blames 'defund the police,' progressive policies for murder, violent crime wave - TheBlaze

LA County sheriff blames 'defund the police,' progressive policies for murder, violent crime wave - TheBlaze

Los Angeles County's top cop, Sheriff Alex Villanueva, says the far-left "defund the police" narrative and progressive officials are responsible for a worrying spike in violent crime. What is the background? Major cities across the U.S. have experienced a spike in violent crime this year. In Los Angeles, for example, murders are up nearly 200%, Fox News reported. Through the first two months of 2021, there were 60 murders in Los Angeles County compared to just 21 during the same time period last year.

Facebook Has a Private Army: Its Founders Want to Free Criminals | Frontpagemag
  • Facebook’s private force is half the size of the San Francisco Police Department.
"...Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, has plowed a ton of cash into various pro-crime bids through the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative with $350 million going to the Justice Accelerator Fund.
Accelerating justice and freeing criminals is a process that starts far from the Zuckerberg manor.
The Zuckerberg estate in Dolores Park is protected by a 15-man security team who helped turn the area into what neighbors described as "nothing short of a fortress."
  • ...The Facebook CEO's security operation isn't a private matter. The guards are part of the company's massive security force with 6,000 personnel, some of whose thugs come from Pinkerton, while its intelligence unit spies on its employees, its users, and everyone else.
  • Facebook’s Chief Security Officer is a former CIA agent. Its Global Security Operations Center has three operational hubs, and monitors Zuckerberg’s home and top employees, while Its BOLO watchlist appears to track even those who speak badly about the CEO.
  • ...Big Tech security teams are one of the industry’s best-kept secrets. ...Facebook has 1,000 security officers in the Bay Area alone. The San Francisco Police Department has less than 2,000 police officers. Facebook’s force is half the size of the SFPD.
...Facebook’s “public-private partnership” had paid for its own police force with arrest powers.
This is public safety reimagined for the elites.
Everyone else gets George Gascon and police defunding.
  • We get riots in the streets, smashed windows, and looted stores while Facebook and its top executives get a private police force half the size of the real one.
  • We get junkies, crazies, and thugs roaming the streets, beating, raping, and killing, while anyone who even annoys a Zuckerberg guard will be hit with restraining orders and then arrested in a flash.
...Big Tech execs want us to reimagine public safety. Armed guards for them, crime for us...Read all!!

Twitter Permanently Blacklists James O'Keefe After CNN Expose

James O’Keefe, the founder of the investigative journalism organization Project Veritas, has been permanently blacklisted by Twitter, just as his organization releases bombshell undercover footage showing senior CNN employees admitting to using “propaganda.” @Project_Veritas, the organization’s official account, has also been suspended.

In a comment to Breitbart News, a Twitter spokeswoman said the suspension was permanent. This comes directly after O’Keefe and Project Veritas publicly embarrassed the far-left news network CNN.

This is racism!

Must read!!-----How corporations conspire with Democrats to hoard power at the public's expense

How corporations conspire with Democrats to hoard power at the public's expense
"Georgians adopted voter-integrity measures supported by a large majority of Americans, that are in the mainstream of state regulation and in fact are less stringent than the rules in Delaware, President Joe Biden’s home state, and New York.
By more than a 2-1 margin, Americans think such rules are not unfair or discriminatory.
Nonetheless, these measures have produced an unprecedented effort by large corporations to interfere in the workings of a democratic government.
  • Major League Baseball moved its All-Star Game out of (majority-black) Atlanta to (majority-white) Denver in protest.
  • Coca-Cola’s president weighed in against the changes.
  • And in a statement organized by Kenneth Chenault, former chief executive of American Express, and Kenneth Frazier, the chief executive of Merck, hundreds of CEOs voiced opposition.
Why?
...As always, this is defended in the name of racial equality. But as usual, that’s just a smokescreen for power.
Don’t ask me, listen to what lefty independent journalist Glenn Greenwald has to say: Big corporations, he writes, are “now deploying woke ideology the way intelligence agencies do: as a disguise.”
  • They run sweatshops and depend on slave labor abroad — many playing footsie with the Chinese government, which is committing genocide against its Uighur population even as many are subjected to forced labor — but they talk “social justice” at home because it helps distract people.
  • And their interference with politics is dangerous, Greenwald notes: “When giant corporations use their unparalleled economic power to override that process — by forcing state and local governments to rescind or reject laws they would otherwise support due to fear of corporate punishment — then the system, by definition, far more resembles an oligarchy than a democracy.”
Well, oligarchy’s their goal, pretty much.
And the tech media are their handmaidens, censoring (truthful) stories from this paper on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the possible lab origins of the Wuhan coronavirus and, most recently, the multiple mansion purchases by Black Lives Matter co-founder (and avowed Marxist) Patrisse Khan-Cullors, which Facebook blocked on spurious “privacy” grounds.
With the news media having become a leftist monoculture and with tech companies censoring “hate speech” — i.e., speech that cuts against their preferred narrative — the voting booth is one of the few outlets the public has to advance its interests and beliefs...Read all.
