"Several days ago, the mega-popular podcast host Joe Rogan advised his young listeners to skip the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I think you should get vaccinated if you’re vulnerable,” Rogan said.
“But if you’re 21 years old, and you say to me, ‘Should I get vaccinated?’ I’ll go, ‘No.’”
Rogan’s comments drew widespread condemnation.
But his view is surprisingly common.
One in four Americans says they don’t plan to take the COVID-19 vaccine, and about half of Republicans under 50 say they won’t get a vaccine.
...What are they thinking, these vaccine-hesitant, vaccine-resistant, and COVID-apathetic?

1. Try something like “DoorDash for vaccines.”
2. Make it suck more to not be vaccinated.

- Or, they make their “good guy” look like Mother Teresa. Recipients of this treatment range from law enforcement and Ferguson’s Gentle Giant Michael Brown, to George Zimmerman, and even President Donald Trump.
- Many cable news channels, or newspapers simply say or print falsehoods, as in Trump-Russia collusion, Russian bounties on American soldiers, or the cause of death of a Capitol Police officer. The error or correction, if acknowledged at all, is relegated to a couple of lines buried in back of the newspaper several days or more later.

- Dubious stories about FBI briefings intended to tar Republicans.
"Three prominent media outfits on Saturday issued embarrassing retractions of a story alleging that the FBI had warned Rudy Giuliani that he was a target of a Russian disinformation campaign.
The retractions seem appropriate, but the larger issue is whether Democratic leakers are again working with the press to smear Republicans with false claims of collusion with Russia.
The New York Times , Washington Post and NBC News corrected their earlier reports...
...The Post described its sources as “current and former U.S. officials,” conveniently unidentified.
The story suggests that both men ignored the warnings and as a result were tools of malign foreign influence. 
The story looked fishy even before the correction, smacking of a repeat of the 2016-17 stories that peddled the false narrative about the Trump campaign and Russia.
We now know those leaks were dirty tricks spread with the help of friendly journalists.
...The Post’s correction didn’t include (Sen. Ron) Johnson, but the story was sketchy to a fault.
The story provided no details on the threat Mr. Johnson was supposedly warned about, or when, where or how he was supposedly compromised.
The Senator told the Post that the FBI briefing last summer was so “generalized” as to be “useless and unnecessary,” especially because he was already “fully aware of the dangers of Russian disinformation.” He said he worried even at the time that the briefing’s purpose was to be used “at some future date” to “offer the biased media an opportunity to falsely accuse me of being a tool of Russia despite warnings.”

I always suspected something of the sort, but it is nice to see it made official:
The Rochester Public Schools board voted unanimously Tuesday evening to make several phrases and images, including “Black Lives Matter,” government speech, meaning the school can’t be held liable for allowing those views while not allowing opposing views.
Got that? Dissent from the “Black Lives Matter” orthodoxy will not be permitted. The government says so. Several other phrases have been declared “government speech” as well:

There were hundreds of media outlets and some Democratic politicians that pushed conspiracy theories claiming Trump was colluding with the Russian government, including stories that the former U.S. president was a "handmaid" to Russian President Vladimir Putin because he was blackmailed by kompromat. Veteran journalist Brit Hume went so far as to say the mainstream media's coverage of the Russia investigation is the "worst journalistic fiasco" he has ever witnessed.
The Russian collusion story came crashing down when Robert Mueller's nearly two-year "investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities."
