"Democrats livid over GOP’s COVID-19 attacks on Biden.

Democrats are up in arms this month over GOP charges that President Biden is to blame for the prolonged COVID-19 crisis.

...The criticism of masks and vaccines has sabotaged Biden’s efforts to get the nation past the pandemic, some argue...

And later in the year:

It would seem that the arrogant powers that be at Twitter feel they are more qualified to determine what is dangerous to readers than actual scientists...Read all.

Liberal billionaire is fed up with failing public schools, so he's committing $750 million to fund charter schools: 'American public education is broken' - TheBlaze

"Instead of giving students the skills they need to succeed in college or in a trade, the public education system is handing them diplomas that say more about their attendance record than their academic achievement," Bloomberg continued. America is "moving backward" in the education challenge, he said, so we need "the courage to rebuild public education from the bottom up."

"In the Michigan Shooting, What Is the School’s Responsibility?"

"In the Michigan Shooting, What Is the School’s Responsibility?"
"The NYT asks.
First, a teacher found Ethan Crumbley searching online for ammunition. The next day, there was an alarming note on his desk: “The thoughts won’t stop. Help me.”...

The parents have been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter. Isn't the school more  responsible?

Catherine J. Ross, a law professor at George Washington University and expert on student rights, said she found the school’s reaction “truly astounding.”... If the parents refused to take Mr. Crumbley home, it was the legal and ethical responsibility of the school, Professor Ross said, to “remove the student from the classroom and put them in a safe place — safe for other people and safe for themselves.”

...This is part of a larger issue of government declining to keep the peace and attempting to convince us that it cannot keep the peace, something I wrote about last month, after the Rittenhouse verdict and the Waukesha massacre, here:...Read all!

WH Busted on Huge Biden Hypocrisy, but Psaki Doesn't Handle It Well
"...one very important Biden hypocrisy caught up to him this week during a White House press briefing.
When President Donald Trump was in office, Joe Biden took every effort to blame all the COVID deaths on him.
But White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked by Fox’s Peter Doocy about Biden’s prior comments on the subject attacking President Trump, when there were 220,000 COVID deaths, that “anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as President of the United States.”
Doocy asked Psaki if that was “still the standard now that more Americans have died under President Biden than President Trump.”...

“I think the fundamental question here is what are you doing to save lives and protect people?” Psaki said, further claiming that Trump “was suggesting people inject bleach” and “continued to provide a forum for misinformation” that led to low vaccination rates...Read all!!!

Nothing is Anybody’s Fault By Clarice Feldman

Nothing is Anybody’s Fault By Clarice Feldman

"Some time ago, P.J. O’Rourke was both prescient and witty when he observed:

"Liberals have invented whole college majors -- psychology, sociology and women's studies -- to prove that nothing is anybody's fault."

This week we have more evidence that nothing is anybody’s fault although the reasons for that may include even more than those P.J. named. Narcissistic celebrities, mendacious media and politicians, and blinkered prosecutors and Soros-funded district attorneys like Milwaukee County’s John Chisolm and San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin are also part of the mix. Stupid voters aren’t off the hook in my estimation either.

  • Retail Theft Rings, How Can We Not Stop Them?

San Francisco has been the worst-hit of many Democrat-run cities by organized retail theft rings stealing for profit millions of dollars in merchandise. So I was heartened to read that leaders of one such ring pled guilty after an extensive investigation caught them dead to rights...

...But if you read to the end you’ll see that the actions of his office belie Bonta’s words. Here are the sentences  Five of the six thieves received for stealing and fencing millions of dollars worth of merchandise (One thief, Danny Drago, has not yet been sentenced):

“Fowler was sentenced to three years in state prison, but the judge agreed to spare her from that time behind bars if she completes two years of supervised probation and spends 364 days in San Mateo County jail.

Morales and Villanueva were sentenced to probation. Villatoro was sentenced to probation and 30 days in jail. “..Much more, read all!
