Black Lives Matter Believes Jussie Smollett, ‘We Can Never Believe Police’

"...Black Lives Matter movement is standing in solidarity with the disgraced actor and will continue to do so regardless of the trial’s outcome, which she called a “white supremacist charade.”

“In our commitment to abolition, we can never believe police, especially the Chicago Police Department (CPD) over Jussie Smollett,” Dr. Melina Abdullah, Director of BLM Grassroots and Co-Founder of BLM Los Angeles, said in a statement. Abdullah also described Smollett as a black man “who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for black freedom.”

“While policing at-large is an irredeemable institution, CPD is notorious for its long and deep history of corruption, racism, and brutality,” she continued...Read all.

Top Dem Economist Says Woke Math Is a National Security Threat

Radical education activists want to purge math curricula of allegedly racist practices, which include showing your work and arriving at the right answer. Democratic donors have played a role in propagating this now-popular trend in math education, the Washington Free Beacon previously reported. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation bankrolled A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction, the nonprofit behind a curriculum that asks teachers to observe how math "is used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views."

Judicial Watch Victory: Delaware Supreme Court Demands More Answers on Biden Senate Document Secrecy | Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch announced that the Delaware Supreme Court ruled yesterday that the University of Delaware must provide more information justifying its decision to keep secret its deal to house and restrict access to the U.S. Senate records of President Joe Biden. The Delaware Supreme Court reversed the Delaware Superior Court and found that the University of Delaware had not carried its burden justifying its refusal to produce records. The case returns to the Delaware Superior Court for further proceedings.

She took particular aim at farmers markets as being too white. She uses a quote from Rachel Slocum (“a preeminent researcher on whiteness and food”) as a jumping-off point.

“What that does is it erases the past and present of race and agriculture. What whiteness also does is ‘mobilizes funding to predominantly white organizations who then direct programming at nonwhite beneficiaries,'” she said. “And we’ll talk about that a little bit more when we talk about communities that can’t take care of themselves.

The plummeting temperature will then lead to something called the "Maunder minimum"

Gus Mahlr
"Amid rising concerns over the effects of global warming, a group of scientists has claimed that the Earth could in a little over a decade be hit by a "mini ice age" that would freeze major rivers.
The startling prediction is based on a mathematical model of the Sun's magnetic energy which also suggests that Earth's temperature will start dropping in 2021.
The plummeting temperature will then lead to something called the "Maunder minimum", which is referred to a previous mini ice age that occurred between 1646 and 1715, turning London's Thames into a frozen river, scientists claimed...Read all.

Why Gun Storage Laws Would Do More Harm Than Good | RealClearPolitics

Why Gun Storage Laws Would Do More Harm Than Good | RealClearPolitics
  • "...Gun storage is primarily designed to prevent accidental gun deaths of children. According to the Centers for Disease Control, Michigan averaged less than two accidental gun deaths a year for those under 18 from 2010 to 2019. That’s about half the rate of such deaths nationwide...
  • ...Since 2000, including Oxford, there have been four U.S. mass public shootings by juvenile killers in any venue. But the Red Lake, Minn., attack in 2005 was committed by a 17-year-old who killed his grandfather, an Indian reservation police officer, and then took his service weapons. Fifteen-year-old Jaylen Fryberg, who committed the Marysville, Wash., shootings in 2014, stole the gun from his father, whose possession of it was illegal because there was a permanent restraining order against him. Would he have legally stored his illegally possessed gun? Again, it appears unlikely that gun locks would have stopped those attacks.
Unfortunately, mandating gun locks can have unintended consequences.
According to my research, which has been published in the Journal of Law and Economics and elsewhere, such laws make it more difficult for people to defend themselves and their families successfully.
As a result, criminals became more emboldened to invade people’s homes.
There have been 300 more total murders and 4,000 more rapes occurring each year in states with these laws
Burglaries are also dramatically higher...Much here, read all!

Union Wants High Schoolers Teaching THEMSELVES Once a Week - Louder With Crowder
The Portland Association of Teachers floated a proposal that would have high school students teaching themselves once a week. This would be to help educators, quote, "adjust to the stresses" of returning to work after the pandemic. The union says it would help the students, too. My eyes just rolled so hard they detached my retinas. Presumably, the self-teaching would take place online. Either that, or high school students would be on their own as they're given a day off.
