Something regarding Russia's invasion into Ukraine — and the way the west responded to it — hasn't made sense to Glenn Beck since the chaos all began.
While Russia is increasing its nuclear preparedness and while western oil markets are struggling amid sanctions, the Biden administration closed yet another avenue for oil here in the United States. Western countries have also blocked certain Russian banks from the SWIFT international payments network, but that comes with a potentially devastating catch for the U.S. too.
actively trying to use this crisis to impose its green agenda. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) chief Michael Regan confirmed that on Monday.
The Sacramento Bee reported that Regan was at the White House, along with Buttigieg and alleged Vice President Kamala Harris, to announce “proposed limits on new buses and large trucks to curb some of their greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% in the next decade.” In the course of his remarks, Regan boasted, “We’re pressing the accelerator to reach a zero-emissions future sooner than most people thought.”
Nothing presses the accelerator to reach a zero-emissions future more effectively than gas prices rising so high that driving a carbon-emitting car is simply too expensive.
At the Monday White House event, Harris was likewise enthusiastic, saying, “We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technology to transition to a zero-emission fleet. We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time.”...Read all.
"...One of the weirder scenes in our recent politics took place this week in the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee. Three Democratic state senators linked arms and did a sort of semi-dance down a hallway singing an impromptu song, "Gay, gay, gay! My daughter's gay! Gay, gay, gay, gay, gay!"...
...What was that about? The video was another step in state Democrats' (very successful) campaign to label a Republican-sponsored bill, H.B. 1557, the "Don't Say Gay" bill. Democrats claim the bill, which passed the Senate on Monday, would ban the very mention of homosexuality in Florida schools. With "Don't Say Gay," they came up with a catchy phrase that many in the media picked up immediately.
...Does the bill really do that? Does the bill include, perhaps in obscure legislative language, some version of "Don't Say Gay?" The answer is no, it doesn't. Here is the part of the bill that has caused so much controversy:
Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.
Notice that the bill prohibits
"classroom instruction"
on "sexual orientation or gender identity" by teachers or other adultsin kindergarten through third grade.
It also says that such instruction after third grade must be "age-appropriate" or "developmentally appropriate." Another way of looking at it is that Florida law will allow classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity beginning in the fourth grade...Read all.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took an apparent shot at President Joe Biden on Saturday, telling members of Congress that inaction from the Biden administration in the face of Russian aggression enabled Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Does anyone want to take a guess as to why Biden said that Rep. Allred and Rep. Veasey look like they could play basketball? Is it because both are black? And what about Rep. Ellzey made Biden say that he looked like he would “bomb you”?
"We do have a damn fool in the White House, there's no question about that, and we should be muscling up our military for any possibilities. We're not. Despite spending trillions and trillions of massive debt, we are not muscling up the United States military. Russia, China, Iran, the axis of evil, the real axis of evil that now exists."
...On the other hand, the incident did lead to the spectacle of a prominent Lincoln Project member complaining that powerful adults should not use their position to force teens to bend to their will.
Who saw that coming, right? These are the kind of situations where you see who went to basic training and who did not.
It’s all part of the toxification of manhood designed to undermine the kind of strength and discipline that, not at all coincidentally, provides a powerful bulwark – the defensive structure kind, not the cheesy blog kind – against feminized nanny fascism.
Men are not born – they are made.
And they are not made with just hugs and participation trophies...Read all.
From Nazi Resistance to Ferguson's Unrest: The Weird History of the Molotov Cocktail
"Easy and cheap to make, the Molotov cocktail is thought to have been invented during the Spanish Civil War, where it was used by the Republicans against Nationalist tanks. ...But why is the weapon named after Vyacheslav Molotov, the Soviet foreign minister who signed the secret 1939 Nazi-Soviet non-aggression pact that heralded World War Two? The answer comes from Finland...Read all.
