High-ranking officials in the Biden administration worked hand in hand with influential social media companies to censor content that was deemed "misinformation," according to emails revealed this week. The government identified "examples of problematic content," and social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter would remove the posts, said the emails obtained in a lawsuit by Republican attorneys general Erich Schmitt of Missouri and Jeff Landry of Louisiana.

"Sweden has established a new Psychological Defence Agency to combat potential Russian disinformation, the London Times reports. The agency hasn’t actually spotted any Russian disinformation yet, the article says, but it knows where to look...The important thing, apparently, is that the Russians not mention what everyone knows.
But this is what really interested me. The quote is from Henrik Landerholm, the head of the new Psychological Defence Agency:
That explains a lot! Most of what liberals have labeled “disinformation” here in the U.S. has turned out to be true..."“Good disinformation is actually not false. Good disinformation is basically true and only somewhat tweaked. Getting people to accept facts that are not true is so much more difficult than just tweaking well-known and existing facts,” he said.

The recipe for a Democrat October surprise - American Thinker
The recipe for a Democrat October surprise - American Thinker
- Start with one divisive presidential speech accusing 74 million voters of being enemies of the state.
- Add two Marine guards against a blood-red background for flavor.
- Whip up the base.
- Stir in a large pool of resentment and bring to a boil.
- Sprinkle in a large contingent of FBI operatives to mix with low-intellect stoned bloggers living in repair shop basements and calling for civil war.
- Bake for a few weeks and allow resentment to rise.
- The FBI will supply the necessary heat and preparation to foment Insurrection 2.0.
- Frost the cake with the state-controlled news and social media reacting in horror and disgust at the evil, violent actions of MAGA Republicans.
This is the recipe for a Democrat October Surprise.
The corrupt media are already working overtime to set the stage by playing up the "civil war" potential and predicting violence from "white supremacists and far-right extremists."...

PA Manufacturing Workers: Biden Wants to Help People in Big Cities with Loan Plan and We Have to Cover the Cost:
During portions of interviews with Fox News Digital released on Saturday, manufacturing workers in Pennsylvania sounded off on President Joe Biden’s student loan debt cancellation program.
Jim Davis said, “It’s not going to affect the people that are here, the people that are actually out doing all the work. So, yeah, he’s going to help the people in the bigger cities because that’s what he wants. But as far as me, it’s not going to help me.”

SPAKOVSKY: The Federal Gov’s Bungled Census Is Bad News For Red States. Here’s Why OPINION - HANS VON SPAKOVSKY"If a politician from Florida decides to run for president in 2024, his (or her) home state will be short two votes in the Electoral College, and when the new session of the U.S. House of Representatives convenes in January 2023, Florida will be missing two congressional seats to which it is entitled.
Why?
Why?
Because according to a post-2020 census survey, the U.S. Census Bureau significantly undercounted the population of Florida, as well as Arkansas, Illinois, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
At the same time, it overcounted the population of eight states, all but one of which is a blue state..."

Yet behind all of this there definitely IS widespread malice.

GOP Sen. Kennedy: 'Revisionist History' for WH to Claim School Closures Were Fault of GOP -- It Was Left-Wing Areas That Closed Longest:
On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) reacted to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s claim that school closures were the fault of Republicans and reopening schools was done by the work of Democrats and the Biden administration by stating that the claim is complete “revisionist history” because left-wing policymakers shut down schools and President Biden even encouraged school closures. Kennedy also said Biden could have used his speech on Thursday to talk about how to make up the education loss from school closures.
Kennedy said, “I mean, it’s just not true.

Plurality Agree It Is a 'Good Thing' Anthony Fauci Is Stepping Down:
A plurality of Americans agree it is a “good thing” that Dr. Anthony Fauci is stepping down from his prominent roles by the end of the year, a poll from The Economist/YouGov found.
The survey asked, “Anthony Fauci will step down from his positions as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden. Do you think it is a good thing or a bad thing for the country that Fauci is retiring at the end of 2022?”
