Exactly the "education" democrats wanted for blacks in the 1860s!----North Dakota State U. removes ‘diversity’ engineering page that said ‘deadlines’ harm minorities

‘Deadlines’ and grades can be harmful to minorities, North Dakota State U. page says - Maddie Trulik - Boyce College
  • Minorities do best without “rigid rules,” “deadlines for assignments and exams,” and graded homework according to a since-deleted “diversity” page for North Dakota State University’s engineering department.
  • The “supporting diversity” page for the engineering department draws from several resources on “grading for equity” and “culturally responsive teaching.” ...
The public university’s page, which highlighted of the college’s “Bronze Award from the American Society for Engineering Education Diversity Recognition Program” provided “Seven Best Teaching Practices to Support Minority Students.”...

No, BBC, A Small Panamanian Island Is Not Drowning Due To Climate Change | ZeroHedge

The BBC’s recent article “Climate change: The Panama community that fled its drowning island,” claims that the island of Cartí Sugdupu in Panama is being swallowed by rising sea levels due to climate change. -Anthony Watts via WattsUpWithThat.com
This is false.
The reality is that the island’s inhabitants are not being forced to relocate because of rising oceans, but due to overcrowding, poor infrastructure, and a lack of resources—issues that have nothing to do with climate change...
The BBC’s report is misleading at best, deliberately deceptive at worst...
  • Cartí Sugdupu is one of Panama’s San Blas Islands, home to the indigenous Guna people. The BBC’s article, painting a picture of climate-induced displacement, completely ignores the fact that the island is severely overcrowded, with more than 1,000 people packed into a tiny space of just 0.028 square miles. That’s a population density higher than New York City
  • The primary reason the residents are moving is not rising sea levels, but poor living conditions, lack of fresh water, and a shortage of space—issues that have been pressing for decades...

How Trans Ideology Took America by Storm

Nowhere has the destructive Left seen such success in so little time as on transgenderism, where acceptable opinion in America has reversed almost completely in just a few short years.  - Ryan T. Anderson

Lawler: DOGE Is Doing a 'Comprehensive Forensic Audit' of the Federal Government

Lawler added, “When you’re staring down $36 trillion in debt and counting, you know, obviously, something has to give. And I think that’s what we’re seeing right now, a comprehensive forensic audit of every department and agency in the federal government.”

On the government employees getting fired...

But the problem is you've got several million coworkers spread across a few thousand departments, all with various levels of issues, and it sounds like on the bell curve of usefulness/productivity you are over on the right side of the curve.Larry Correia
  • So I told him about the GS I knew who tried to put 250 people out of work and bankrupt a good company because she refused to admit she'd done some paperwork wrong... Afterwards she got PROMOTED.
  • Or the federal agent I personally dealt with who knowingly perjured himself to a judge to get an illegal search warrant, even though there were a bunch of witnesses to confirm he'd already found the items he was claiming to be looking for. The judge was furious. But the agent didn't get fired or prosecuted. They just transferred him to a different office where he hadn't offended the local judges.
Are there lots of awesome government employees who do good work. Yes.
Are lots of good folks going to get caught up in these mass cutting of the necrotic flesh? Yep. Does that suck?  Yep.
Same as all the mass lay offs the rest of us have gone through during our lives out in the regular world, that sure does hurt.
But sadly our time for gentle careful cuts is past, the scalpel will no longer do, and it is axe and TQ time before the patient dies...

Amazing how cheaply one can buy democrat support... unless there's more?-----Career DOJ Prosecutor Dismissed Fraud Case Against Dem Megadonor As Trump Took Office

The $150 million fraud case against green-energy magnate Ibrahim AlHusseini was dropped before Trump could appoint a new U.S. Attorney. -  Luke Rosiak
A career Department of Justice prosecutor on January 21 dismissed a criminal case against a major Democrat donor alleged to have engaged in a $150 million fraud involving a green-energy firm, The Daily Wire has learned.
The dismissal came one day after President Donald Trump took office, but before he could install his own U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California.
  • Ibrahim AlHusseini, who has fashioned himself an environmentalist star and Hollywood playboy, gave more than $300,000 to Democrats and was a lead investor in a “socially conscious” finance firm backed by actor Leonardo DiCaprio called Aspiration Inc.
  • The longtime CodePink board member had been heralded as proof that “reversing the climate crisis can be profitable.”
  • But the FBI said AlHusseini falsified financial documents to inflate their value by nearly $200 million...

Watch: The New Ultra-Manly US Army Ad That Will Begin Rebuilding Our Military

Fast forward four years. Weights. Muscles. “Strong people are harder to kill.” Period. The military isn’t a medium for social change under MAGA. It’s there to kill our enemies and keep Americans safe.

I also have a hunch on which one will end up working better for us in the long run. TL;DR version, to quote from earlier: “AMERICA IS SO BACK.” Agreed.

A funny thing happened on the way to Net Zero - Climate Discussion Nexus

Strange how a man they deride as an idiot can make them so much smarter so fast, but they couldn’t do it themselves.
  • After Donald Trump made various disagreeable noises about Canada, including threats of tariffs if we didn’t start taking border security seriously (and maybe even if we did), Canadian politicians who’d been running the place down as colonial, even genocidal, and invoking martial law against truckers and their horrible Canadian flags, suddenly wrapped themselves in the same flag.
What’s more, they decided they loved the energy sector they’d been running into the ground, and nuclear power that they shunned.

For instance Chrystia Freeland, long Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s loyal Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister until she discovered loyalty was a one-way street for him, suddenly promised to:
“seize the opportunity to make Canada an energy superpower, from powering our grids with hydro to exporting liquefied natural gas to our allies.”
...Likewise, Canada’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson, formerly Minister of Environment and Climate Change and a warming-dogmatist foe of oil and gas the whole way, stammered:
We’re all aware now that perhaps there are some vulnerabilities we did not actually believe existed. We should be reflecting on the vulnerabilities and deciding collectively, including with our First Nation partners, whether there are some things we should do to address these vulnerabilities.”...

Europe's self-inflicted irrelevance * WorldNetDaily * by Andrew Latham, Real Clear Wire

Europe's self-inflicted irrelevance * WorldNetDaily * by Andrew Latham, Real Clear Wire

The only way for Europe to reclaim its place in global security decision-making is to fundamentally rethink its approach to defense. This means abandoning the illusion that the world can be shaped through international law and goodwill alone. It requires acknowledging that power still matters, and that military strength – not moral rhetoric – is what ultimately guarantees security. The European Union must transition from being a loose economic bloc with fragmented defense capabilities into a genuinely capable security actor. This will require a radical shift in priorities:

How much of our tax money went to buy media coverage that endlessly LIED about Trump??!!

And how much money was "returned" to their friends in state government??!!-----Michigan electric vehicle maker to close two locations after pocketing $900,000 subsidy Company returning production to South Carolina

Receiving $900,000 of taxpayer money won’t stop a Michigan electric vehicle maker from shuttering two locations and taking 188 jobs out of state. - Scott McClallen
Auburn Hills-based automotive supplier BorgWarner will close two plants of its subsidiary Akasol Inc., in Hazel Park and Warren...
  • In 2019, the Michigan Strategic Fund awarded the company $2.24 million in taxpayer money for its Hazel Park plant, with the expectation it would create 224 jobs. The money would be paid out over five years as the company met milestones for creating jobs.
  • But the state and the company amended the deal in 2022. Instead of being promised $2.4 million over five years, the company received $900,000, according to a Michigan Strategic Fund annual report. The company created 66 jobs, according to the MSF report...

Ahhh, NGOs. AGAIN!

I've said it again, I'll say it again. Taxpayer-funded NGOs function as a parallel government.

Even worse, many sitting members of Congress are directly involved in them. - DataRepublican@DataRepublican
  • They see themselves as the real government, prioritizing debates with other bureaucrats on the global stage over serving the people they represent.
  • This is why critical issues like healthcare, education, and help for Helene victims are consistently neglected.
 Tom@BoreGuru - Replying to @DataRepublican and @BasedMikeLee
  • Everything the Democrats would like to pass in Congress, but know they couldn't, just gets done by an NGO.
