'If my daughter is assaulted and raped': Watch DSA spokeswoman give absurd answer to defund-the-police question * WorldNetDaily * by WND Staff:
The anchor then presented a powerful scenario to Gill: "If my daughter is assaulted and raped, is there any agency that would seek to find her assailant and bring him to justice?"
Responded Gill, "Of course, yeah, of course."
Nolan then challenged, "What would it be if not police and where would he be if not a jail?"
When Jocelyn Benson was asked what the state income tax rate is, she said “I’m not sure off the top of my head,”
...but she’ll trust the experts to make the tax code “re-examined,” “modernized,” and “equitable.” - Heather Dow@PatriotPostGirl
- That’s leftish for I’ll raise your income taxes, even though I don’t know what the tax rate is, to fund my multibillion dollar statewide high-speed train boondoggle and other subsidized stuff I’ve promised.

Swing-state election official resigns amid mail-in ballot investigation | Blaze Media:
“A clerk who does not believe the law prohibits issuing duplicate ballots cannot be trusted to prevent it from happening again,” Boerke argued in a supplemental letter to the WEC. He went on to say that the “fundamental misunderstanding of ballot issuance law displayed in the response makes future violations inevitable absent commission action.”
THE MICHIGAN FIREWALL: November isn't just about stopping Abdul El-Sayed.
It's about the last thing standing between Lansing Democrats and everything they've already written down: - Kevin Kijewski@KevinKijewskiAnd I mean written down.
They filed the bills.
There's no guessing what's coming.
They’re telling you.
There's a reading list.
- HB 6134: corporate income tax from 6% to 10%. Second highest in America. Kiss our jobs goodbye.
- HB 4009: legalizes rent control. Every city that's tried it built less housing, not more.
- HB 4194-4196: driver's licenses with no proof of legal presence. Election integrity becomes a pipe dream.
- HB 5355: landlords banned from screening most criminal history. Safety by Lansing's rules, not yours.
- HB 4687: a state board writing race-based curriculum rules for your kids' classrooms. Parents are told to shut up.
Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed oversaw Detroit's animal shelter when it operated with a 74% kill rate with conditions that whistleblowers described as a slaughterhouse including feces and urine backing up into kennels plus rats and cockroaches.
The city paid $63,000 to settle a related lawsuit all while Mohamed El-Sayed's Health Department was watching over operations. - Patti Hilliard
Former animal control officer Brittany Roberts filed a whistleblower lawsuit in late 2015 after she said she was fired for raising alarms.

Former animal control officer Brittany Roberts filed a whistleblower lawsuit in late 2015 after she said she was fired for raising alarms.
She said:
Drains were clogged so feces and urine flooded kennels and contaminated food served on the floor,
The shelter was infested with rats and cockroaches,
Dogs were confined in undersized cages without exercise,
Animals were neglected until they died rather than properly euthanized, and
Staff routinely failed to scan microchips that could reunite pets with owners.
Roberts and advocates called the operation a slaughterhouse; photos and accounts described dogs left in blood, vomit, and waste.
Detroit City Council approved the $63,000 settlement with Roberts in July 2016...
Homebuyers Deserve the Facts About Crime and Schools | RealClearPolitics
Nothing is more natural when buying a house than looking into how safe the neighborhood is, and, if you have or plan to have children, whether the schools are any good. - Daniel McCarthy
- Yet the last Democratic presidential administration tried to prevent real estate agents from answering those kinds of questions because it prioritized "diversity" over safety and education.
- What's worse, state regulations in New York and elsewhere still prevent real estate agents from speaking freely to homebuyers about crime and schools...
- The major online real estate companies understood immediately what was being demanded of them -- Realtor.com and Zillow stopped providing crime data, while Redfin, going out of its way to embrace the party line, even posted a blog proclaiming, "Neighborhood crime data doesn't belong on real estate sites."

Left Treats History as 'Assertion of Power' in Smithsonian 'Ideological Takeover': Professor:
“Rather than fostering unity and a deeper understanding of our shared past, the widespread effort to rewrite history deepens societal divides and fosters a sense of national shame, disregarding the progress America has made and the ideals that continue to inspire millions around the globe.”
If ever, now is the time to address this issue, Spaulding suggested. “This Smithsonian question [is] so pertinent and immediate — of all times — when we’re spending the 250th anniversary of America.” Perkins concluded by citing George Orwell, a socialist critic of socialism, who understood both its aims and its shortcomings: “he who controls the present controls the past.”
Not Winning? Just Change the Rules - Victor Davis Hanson
When the Left cannot win within the rules, it changes the rules—and when that fails, it changes the people who make them. - Victor Davis HansonThen they seek to change the rules, no matter how hallowed those laws and conventions may have been or how much they themselves benefited from them in the past...
- By 2021, it was time to destroy the southern border and welcome in some 10 million illegal immigrants—without audits, English proficiency, health checks, or the ability to support themselves...

Prestigious U.S. law school discriminated based on race in admissions * WorldNetDaily * by Alan Wooten, The Center Square:
Duke University School of Law, seventh-best nationally in a U.S. News & World Report ranking and consistent member of the national T14 list, discriminated based on race in admissions for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 classes, says the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Federal officials said the university's conduct violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the U.S. Supreme Court's 2023 decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard. The former prohibits discrimination on basis of race, color or national origin; the latter banned race discrimination in higher education.
To those who say "it's her choice" I used to say the same thing about my own Hijab.
And when people challenged me, I said: this is my choice. - Charles Kasner
I was covered head to toe.
I was covered head to toe.
Even on the beach.
Even with my male relatives.
And when people challenged me, I said: this is my choice.
You know why?
- Because the other option was burning in hell, hung by my hair for eternity.
- That's what they taught me since childhood...
