A 58-year-old woman was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, several hours after a man was shot and seriously wounded near a Lawndale school Thursday afternoon, officials said.
A total of 14 people were shot, 3 fatally during predominantly daytime shootings after sunrise Thursday, police said.
